MG Bass makes great stuff. I own one of their Africa 5 strings.
Yeah, I've had one a long time ago, it was heavy. However, newer stuff are amazing, and light!!! I wanted to try Africa, but someone else was trying. It's a killer bass 😱🔥
@@Peterkleemusic It is heavy! The tones are fantastic. Very versatile bass. I bought it because I've always wanted a Wal, but can't afford one. This bass gets very close!

Sure, Thank you for watching brother! I tested more, but sometimes I was by myself. I can’t forget the first time I plugged into GR bass amp with my MTD🔥 it’s like Markbass sound but very punch and clean, you should check out too!
@@Peterkleemusic I have electronic tubes markbass 410 Aguilar tone hammer and pjb. I think mtd is the most amazing on markbass and the most dynamic on Aguilar.
@@zhiweiyao844Wow! That’s amazing gears. I have CMD121p and Mesaboogie, but I like Markbass better! It has the crispy sound😱 I had ToneHammer, but sold it before MTD. However, the simulation model is on my Helix Stomp. I like it👍

This is Atelier Z M265 Custom model. I asked for the price it’s around 3k. Newer models are lighter!

In your personal opinion, which bass has the best playbility??
I was shocked the Atelier Z bass, it has the right feel and vintage tone if you're looking for Marcus Miller tone! However, every bass has the very good set up to test!

No, it was surprising. Many big companies weren’t there😭 Fodera, Smith, Roscoe, etc.. and some major drum companies too. It’s post Covid, I think they will come back!

None of them were there, but I saw many of new companies I never heard. all of them are good! RKM, LEH, some Chinese companies. I think it was good to me to try out new stuff. I saw the bar is really high, especially sire lifted the bar, which every company make a really good quality.

NAMM looks like fun, but I can barely stand the noodle-fest that goes on at musuc shops... Much less a convention centre full of noodlers.
I agree, I was not like that 100% However, when I play some serious stuff, the maker and staff don't give you that much attention to talk. When you hit their basses, they're like hmm.. let's talk lol 😂
Little at NAMM for people who don’t slap ,tap or use upper partials much but do play Filthy McNasty’s every other Wednesday May through October.
Nobody is gonna spontaneously form a bar band and play mustang sally for you. Musicians noodle to get to know instruments, deal with it

use a portable DI box, look at what KDH did, you can hear his guitar playing isolated, it rules

5 strings basses are stupid, but now there seem to be a lot of 6 strings as well. Just play guitar if you don't want to play bass.

However, one might wonder why not everyone plays the violin, and why there are instruments like the cello, viola, and bass. Each instrument possesses its unique character and tonal quality. Although all string basses traditionally have four strings, many composers require a fifth string for lower notes, such as a low C or D.
Art is about expression, and there are no strict rules about how to create it. It's important to be considerate of others in your artistic choices. Thank you 🙏.
Consider the guitar, which is typically made with six strings. Why not five or seven? It's all about the specific sound and range that the instrument's design offers.
Some genres require a 5 string. Extended range basses can blur the lines between guitar and bass. At the end of day it's music. There really are no rules. There's theory to guide and that's it. You can do anything you want to achieve your sound.
