    I love this pattern, I have made three baby blankets and for the girls I put ribbon in the space. I am now working on an afghan size but I'm using a worsted yarn. I am changing the colors after Row 2 and 3, I change a color and then I do two rows and change colors again. It is so beautiful. Thank you so much for this beautiful and very easy pattern Mikey. You are my Crochet Guru, and have taught me so much. I had to retire early from Lupus complications, and I have been crocheting so much these past three months. l love it. You have touched so many lives Mikey, you are very kind spoken and talented. God bless you

      I know this is late in coming, but I was just thinking of doing ribbon in the space for my step-son's upcoming baby. It would be nice in the presentation and easy for them to take out if they prefer. Thank you for posting that it worked for you already. It's a beautiful stitch and with the huge variety of colours in the Bernat Blanket line, I'm seeing that I'll be applying this to several gifts for the next holiday as well as upcoming births.

    Yaasss. I recently started crochet and I am finishing up a baby blanket for my friend. My first was a baby hat. I wanna make a blanket for my mother and one for myself. The issue is that my grandma always crocheted beautifully and made a ton of afghans for babies and adults. But most of them were not the totally solid stitch. That works great for my mom because she’s always warm. But I wanted to find a more solid, warm pattern for myself and that was repeating because I’m still new. So, thank you!

    Mikey, thank you for your very pleasant voice and expert tutorial. I am a beginner of sorts and am easily able to do this blanket, thanks to you it's such a nice soft blanket, looks good and is easier. My son-,in-law will be so happy to get this in Oct on his birthday. I'm using Bernat blanket charcoal ombre. Thanks again for making this possible.. I'm not joking ❤

    I have watched (and saved to my crochet playlist) so many of your tutorials. Of course I'm subscribed to your channel as well. I have finally gotten around to making one of your projects. This works up so quickly it and is turning out beautifully! I am making this for my queen size bed, with draping so it's similar to a comforter, and I am dumbfounded at the almost mindless stitching! Thank you so much for your amazing instructions!!!

    This is such a great tutorial! (New subscriber, by the way 😊). I made this blanket last year and had so much trouble with the ends, so mine turned out kind of wonky on the edges so I'm keeping it for myself. 😊. I might try it again so I can give it to a friend because I like how mindless the rows became, except for edges. I look forward to binging on your other videos and maybe I'll find a different afghan/throw to try.. 😊

    Would love to do this blanket, but dont like how the bernat blanket yarn crochets! ☹️ I used it to do a teddy bear for my great-nephew, & it was difficult to keep on the hook. Spent more time re-inserting my hook, than actually crocheting. I was not pleased with end resilt!
    I am old school yarn I guess. Smaller yarn, & softer yarn is my favorite to work with! I think I will try this pattern, just use a different yarn! Thanks for posting!

      If you like the look of this stitch, but want something a bit simpler, try the moss stitch! It is a 1 row repeat all the way through your blanket and you don’t have to think or count!

      @sherrigerstel2095 Год назад +1

      Do you write notes when you do a pattern video in your own terminology? I do & it usually makes things easier. Then when I have repeat rows, what I do is repeatedly write the row number down, like 12121212 & then put a line through it so I know that one is done & I know what line I’m on. Hope this helps you!! 😊

    I love Bernat yarn. It works great for infant hats also because it's chunky and stretchy.
    But what I worry a little about in this tutorial is it seems as though the holes are a lot larger than in the image? I love that the blanket seems more tightly crocheted in the image... and I tend to get cold with too large of spaces.

    • @NullifiedBeauty
      @NullifiedBeauty 7 лет назад

      Actually, when I did mine I laid mine down on a solid surface and it looked like there were no holes in it (like the picture) but once I lifted it up, you can see the holes a little clearer. As you continue crocheting it looks well put together even after you wrap it around yourself, it looks like the picture; but I do feel as if it's a little misleading because the holes aren't as easily seen when you lay it up against something.

    • @darcy5830
      @darcy5830 7 лет назад +1

Getting to the end after first row makes zero sense. This is the second time I’ve watched one of your videos and honestly had to go find a different one because it was no help at all.
