- Easy to follow pattern involving the Crochet Pin Stripes Blanket.
This blanket is a simplistic single crochet and double crochet alternate between each other to give the easy texture you see in this blanket.
The main colour is 10 rows, the pin stripes are 2 rows. You simply go back and forth until you get your desired sizing.
Multiples are in stitch counts of 2 for those who would like to change the size.

Thank you so much Mikey! I LOVE the texture in this pattern!
Like EVERYTHING you do...
LOVE IT....LOVE YOU!
Great tutorial; you explain VERY well :)
Thank you for taking the extra time to make -and explain your penciled diagram. When I was making mistakes, this was what actually helped me see and "get" what I was doing wrong. I appreciate that you added this in!
Hey Mikey. Thanks for your excellent tutorial. I made the pin stripe blanket for a gift and it's gorgeous and easy to make. By mistake I used a size N hook and loved the look...like soft spongee little love knots in rows. I'm planning to make one for myself ❤
Супер!!! спасибо большое!!
Love how you explain everything! You make it super easy thank you so much!!!!
Thank you so much, easy and beautiful.👏👏💖💖💖👍👍👍😍😍
I love the use of diagrams 👏👏 takes out a lot of reading,I’m a seasoned crocheter but love projects that are easy and pretty! Bernat Blanket is so cozy. I just wished Bernat Blanket Baby would arrive at our Michaels in Tennessee I want to start the toddler poncho. Ty to Mickey I can fold those types of ponchos. I’ll be making this blanket soon ❤️
Love it great pattern have a great weekend
I always enjoy ur tutorials. Thanks for sharing
Just stunning!!
Lovely blanket and looks quick and easy to make thank you!
Thank you Mikey ❤️
Love this
Thanks for the tip on looking for the stitch in the row below. I find the blanket yarn to be very hard to use because it is almost impossible to tell what stitch is in the row below! Because this pattern is so simple, using the blanket yarn might be OK..
Thank you Mikey your the best I haven learned so much from you.
Thanks. Very lovely
Great pattern! I made this to fit a king size bed. Very easy to customize. Makes a really warm and comfy blanket :)
Kathy MacKay I’m newer and I can follow pattens just don’t know who to make it bigger can you tell me what the multiples are if I wanted to make it a touch bigger?
blessedx three Any multiple of 2, until it’s the size you want.
How much yarn did you use for this? I'm very new and wanted to know how much a large blanket would need.
Pretty
Can't wait to make this! I can really see making this using scrap yarns in two strands.
That is a fantastic idea, thanks.
Beautiful
I really love this stitch. I use it often and for many different things. I have heard it called “The Grit” stitch. I have used it for blankets, sweaters and scarves. It is a very masculine stitch perfect for “his” wearables. My personal secret for this stitch...always go BIGGER with the hook. My current project is a sofa blanket in #2 fine yarn using a “G” hook. It produces a very drapery flexible fabric. I’d gravitate to a P or a Q hook for the Bernat blanket yarn.
What if you want it to look Flat like the picture?
Very nice I Will try thanks so much
This help me to read part
nice
Love your channel. Easy to understand. Do you have a website
Are you crocheting thru both loops or only front or back? I can’t tell. Thank you!
Stitching similar to cat blanket you tutored
This is the same as a pebble stitch right? I find the ends of each row seem very uneven looking but I fumbled through it and made a very beautiful blanket. I fudged the turns....ended up doing 2 chains and turned at each end. Wish I knew how to share the photo! Thanks Mikey I do love your videos.💕
E linha ou malha que esta usando pra crochetar
Wow. Beautiful ! I am looking for a new project for when I finish what I am doing for a friend. Thank you Thank you !!!

شكرا جزيلا. - Thanks so much.
Could I add a border if I wanted to?
In the tutorial Mikey, said that there is a way to check to see what a different color of yarn would look like but I don't understand how he is saying how to do it? Does anyone else know how to do that?
Can you do tutorial on Christmas designed afghans for beginners teaching themselves to crochet and knit?
He has some on the yarnspirations website and youtube. Keyword search christmas. Lots of projects not just afgans.
Every time I I try to make a blanket, the sides start to like size out? If that makes sense. It kinda looks like a trapezoid
Riland Hall I had the same problem with his pattern. The ends were difficult. I just did whatever I could to make it square and it worked.
Thank you so much. Can you use 4 weight yarn
Does Anyone have a lil advice for me plz? I'm really wanting to make this to look woven like it does in the main picture of cream & grey. I'm wanting a flat blanket look, not a bunchy afghan looking pattern. Thx in advance! 💐
The lemon peel stitch
Um ponto alto,um ponto baixo,na proxima carreirra um ponto baixo ,um ponto alto (repete sempre
Where is the color plate tool?
Quantas correntinha pra cpmeca em portugues do Brazil
São múltiplos de 2
Você faz da largura que você quiser
If you want to crochet the same size as this tutorial 106 correntinha ( chains).
I wish I could figure out where to go to change the colors :(
I'm sorry about that. The free pattern is linked in the video description if you need clarification.
I like this stitch but not the heavy yarns, huge hooks. Here's why, my hands can do small twists and turns but larger hooks require the entire hand to do the loop de loop. I don't want to crochet doilies but the popularity of the Easy, Quick project just because it's a big hook, big yarn doesn' t work for all of us.
Muy bonito todo. Lo malo que esta en ingles 😢
Yes, that's the main language for the province in Canada Mikey lives in.
All I kept seeing were carrots..lol
Why crochet in the back loop?
If you are talking about the first row, I find I don't lose stitches and the edging looks better when the afghan is done.
Will this work with any kind of yarn? I would prefer to use wool. I really do not like the yarn you use here. It looks just awful. Plus, the edges are not straight. Your sample seems to slant inward on both sides.
Since over 35 of your 46 favorite videos are of crocheting and knitting, people can assume that you already know another yarn would work. So why leave a comment so negative? It’s not necessary and unwanted. If you don’t like it move on. Go create drama somewhere else or get a better life to where you don’t have to try and tear down other people.
