I’ve always wanted a 335i since I was a Teen and used to only watch you because of the 335i and 3 months ago I bought my 2011 335i at 21. Watching this video makes me really happy.
Looks like you've got all the stock stamped steel rear control arms with the stock bushings in them no doubt. Probably the stock rear sub frame bushings too. Replace the arms with the M3 arms (top and bottom, 6 links total per side) and get the diff lock down and poly sub frame bushings. Some of the arms have spherical bearings so there is no need to replace those, but I took out all the rubber bushings and replaced them with poly in the front and rear. I bought the TRW arms from ECS and they were literally the BMW arms with the 'M' logo ground off with a die grinder. I saved hundreds. I used the Ground Control rear toe link because the M3 rear LCA is a little longer and the 335 toe arm won't allow proper toe anymore because it is designed for a slightly shorter arm. The GC link uses rod ends with opposite threads so it is a proper infinitely adjustable link. I don't think the M3 toe link will work because the sub frames are different. One catch is the rear M3 shock attaches differently than the rear 335 shock on the bottom so you would need 2 new shocks in the rear. The top connection is the same.

That was a dam good attempt. These cars are real difficult through the first 60ft. Once did a 11.79@119 with my stock twins. Then an 11.9@119 on the very next run using R888s but they still often gave me 2.1 to 2.3 60ft times. Only a set of hoosiers or MT are going to help. I then upgraded to GCs. Best I did was 11.77@129. Traction off the line was terrible. @Adam LZ, your car is really moving at 135mph. Thats really quick for a x35i. I have the European DCT version. No clutch makes it a nightmare to launch. Shifts down the track are brilliant after that but the dual mass flywheel causes false misfire detection about 2/3rds of the way down the track. Have an M4 flywheel ready to go in but not sure if I'll import some SSP clutches. Very pricey to me with $ conversion, shipping and duty. Good luck on the 10. I'd like to get there myself. Don't have uprated drive shafts or prop shaft though. That's always a worry.

Put a Toyo R88R on the rear with about 18 psi in it. It will go 10s all day. Bradenton hooks pretty well.
