one of the best comments our paediatrician made was that most babies hate getting swaddled but love being swaddled. That was 100% true for us, swaddling was one of the best things for my little one. But she hated the process, pretty much as intensely as she loved the result.
Currently 30 weeks pregnant with my first. Due to COVID, all the prenatal classes at my hospital were cancelled. Your videos are amazing! I’ve been taking notes and saving all tour videos for future reference! Thank you!!!
So glad I could help. Look into online classes too. My hospital has switched to zoom childbirth edu classes. If you still feel like you are missing some info, online classes can be really useful!
If it helps at all, my childbirth classes made me feel more confident but I didn't use any of the tips/tricks I learned in the class. I think your instincts just take over.
I’m so glad you mentioned it being normal to not have that instant attachment and love for your baby. I felt no connection when I was pregnant, tho I was very excited to finally be a mom. It took until her first yawn for me to actually feel a connection (not sure why). Now I’m absolutely obsessed with her since I’ve had a month of bonding so far 💚
Same here. Excited but feeling nothing for my first son. It took me 4 hours to feel the connection, after the labor I only saw him twice for a few seconds and then they brought him to me after 4 hours where I start to feel things. It's ok,at first we don't truly realise what is going on
Don't worry too much, I was in the same boat. I am 30 weeks now approx and, whilst I'm not excited, I do feel calm and accepting. Try not to worry or I think the stress will affect you getting 'into It. As my friend said, it's hard to be excited by something you don't know, so give yourself time :)
@@aniya113 I didn't start to get attached until I started feeling him really kick and roll and punch. Being able to feel his actual feet and stuff. But we wanted a baby. It seems like there is a point for most mothers, who aren't narcissists and stuff, where they'll connect. I still feel somewhat disconnected because he's right there, but he feels so far away.
Thank you for utilizing your platform to inform women about birth. I’ve found your videos extremely helpful, you put me at such ease. I’m 38 weeks as of tomorrow so I’m just waiting on her to decide what day will be her special day. Your videos are very informative and comforting, your positive energy and vibes are felt across the screen! Thank you so much! If only you could be my L&D nurse! Take care:)
Honestly if I knew I'd have a nurse like you, I might be more open to a hospital birth. You're wonderful and I'm so thankful you exist! Your laboring mothers are very blessed to have you as a care provider!
I didn’t cry when either of my babies were born. A few hours after my 2nd birth the woman in the room next to mine delivered and I sobbed. For my deliveries I was so shocked that they were actually here all of a sudden that I didn’t have emotion.
You just went through so much....it's not a movie....we feel how we feel. We need to give ourselves freedom to feel whatever, whenever.... all the best!👍
Your nurse is what can make or break your hospital experience, what your nurse is like makes a bigger difference then who your doctor is (baring complications you almost never even see your doctor until it is time to push) six hospital births and I have had good and bad nurses (clueless or indifferent may be a better word then bad) and your labor and delivery nurse, postpartum nurse make such a big difference. Yes! When I was in labor I actually feel like my progress stalled somewhat because of the terrible nurses at first. I ended up going home to labor at home twice and even though I would make good progress at home I would stall again at the hospital. The last time I was there I had a terrible uncaring nurse overnight that was so bad my mom had to ask to get rid of her. In the morning they broke my water and by then it was a shift change and the new nurses were SO nice and encouraging. I felt so much better
I’m literally being induced in TWO DAYS and due to COVID I haven’t been able to attend any parenting/pre labor classes I have been BINGE watching your videos 😭❤️
My mom is eight months pregnant now, I’m literally so excited that I’m watching this video even tho I’m not pregnant lol (and the fact that mom already has four kids so she probably knows a lot lol) Thank you so much for making this tho 🥺 Really helpful and easy to understand, (also you’re really calming, in a way, and idk I just appreciate it :( 💘 )
I tried swaddling with regular blankets for my newborn. He hates his arms swaddled and always manages to wiggle out of the even tightest wrap. Those halo sleep sacs saved my life. I can leave his arms out so he is more comfortable and I know he won’t wiggle out of the velcro maintaining a safe sleep environment in his basset.

I am due this month, thank you for posting this! You helped me realize how much the baby has to get used to being a human on top of myself getting used to motherhood.
I'm 32 weeks and just found your channel. I feel like I'm not doing that much to be more knowledgable about giving birth or taking care of new born babies just because I don't really like reading long articles or watching long videos. But somehow your videos really caught my attention and I love how you are so informative and easy to understand. Thank you so much!! I subscribed right away!
I am currently pregnant with baby #5. Your videos are a great refresher and are getting me so excited for what an empowering and special time this is. Thank you for your informative videos. You do a great job of explaining and normalizing what really happens during labor and recovery.
My son was exhausted right after my c section. He slept for 6 hours then was ready to eat. Drove the nurses nuts! Definitely showed a glimpse of the future of what his strong willed personality.😂
Due in two weeks with my second. I can honestly say you are so right about that overwhelming love feeling not being there in the beginning for some. Everyone in the room was overjoyed and crying when I gave birth to my first except me. I was on what I call autopilot.she was born and felt like ok, my responsibility is officially here. The butterflies and warm fuzzy feeling didn’t come until months later for me.
I was in such a daze after birth and the baby was immediately taken because she wasn’t breathing well (meconium in the lungs). My first time seeing her next she was in a plastic thing with tubes all over. Took a long time to get that feeling even after taking her home. First day home I was alone because my husband had to work. I was amazed by her but no warm and fuzzies for a while.
My youngest child is 14 years old and it still hurts my heart that he had to go straight to the NICU immediately after birth so I missed out on skin to skin and the first big breastfeeding session. I was very nervous that he wasn't going to breastfeed well since we were several days delayed (and this was my 1st attempt at nursing a baby. I bottle fed my older child). But to my surprise, we had no issues. I ended up breastfeeding him until he was 2 years old then he weaned himself. 😪 I still had a ton of breast milk in the freezer so he drank it out of a cup until it was gone. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything in the world!! 💖
I am so happy that you guys had a such a long and beautiful breastfeeding relationship. It really is the most special relationship I have personally ever had. 💗
Of course I loved my son when he was first born, but I didn't have that overwhelming fierce love that she talked about. Now he's two months old and my god, his smile makes me the happiest mom in the world. It just takes time.
I catch myself swaying when I’m not even holding baby. I’ve noticed myself doing it at the grocery store 😂 So yea the natural rhythm of swaying is real lol
Im only 11 weeks now but already freaking out. My pregnancy was planned but I feel like there is sooo much stuff to know and what if I forget something? You know
I wish you had this platform 17 yrs ago when I was thinking about how my labor & birth would. Thank you for providing information to new moms & families
I'm a first time-soon to be mum, I'm only 9 weeks but I will be more than prepared by the time I'm due thanks to your videos! I've already learnt SO much.
I'm pregnant with my first baby. I just found your channel last night and I am sooo thankful for your videos. They have been beyond informative and have really helped to set my mind at ease. Thank you so much!💕
Wishing you the best of luck for a healthy and safe delivery! I’ll be getting induced with baby #1 tomorrow, and i found this video has perfect timing haha
I have to say, as an expecting mom that last thing you mentioned is so nice to hear. I already love my baby but mostly in my first trimester i was terrified of not being able to connect with my baby, though as time as gone on and my anxiety has subsided i feel 100% better. it's still nice in case i personally am overwhelmed to know that this is normal for when baby comes! I love watching your videos especially as a first time mom and not knowing a whole lot about babies
I find out my due date tomorrow but I think I'm about 7 mo. So far! Youve really helped ease my fears of giving birth especially in a hospital and doing so alone. Thank you SO MUCH!! ❤
I'm not pregnant yet.. I'm hoping for the positive test to come soon.. I've been watching every baby care and preparation video awaiting for it to happen. I have loads of clothes from my partners childhood (and his sisters) and I've brought a few bits that are too cute to pass. I love watching videos from professionals because I know it's right and a lot stuff on the internet is wrong. I love your videos because it's helping me to write a little how to guide for me when I'm in my panic postnatal tiredness stage (and for baby daddy in general). I can't wait to welcome a baby of my own. It'll give me love again in this world apart from my partner. I'll keep you posted on the if the positive comes.
I was also prepping before birth. It's never too early! Always so much to learn =) Wishing you the best, one day at a time, in God's time (or the universe, whichever you believe in :))
I just had my baby last Sunday (January 10th, 2021) and I’ve been so overwhelmed. I feel super unprepared because all prenatal classes were canceled due to Covid. This whole week has been super scary and I’ve had so many questions. Thank you for answering some of my questions.!
My wife & I are having twins in November & this helped alot. I've been watching tons of youtube videos almost every night & staying up later then I wanted to most nights. I hope my L&D - PP nurses are as good as you.
Nurse Zabe you have been such a help through my pregnancy and now to help with my newborn( it’s been almost a decade since my last baby!) your information about the sneezing gave me peace of mind.
I gave birth a couple days ago to #5 and had a natural birth despite needing pitocin. I didn't make a sound and my nurse was impressed how good I did. I love your videos so much, they helped me with my experience.
I really needed this video. I'm a first time mom and my baby boy is 10 days old right now. There have been a couple of times so far that I've just felt overwhelmed. I've been watching your videos to try to prepare for his arrival but now it seems nothing really prepares you .
Your videos have been helping me soooo much since I first found out I was pregnant. This will be my first child, i’m 34 weeks and you’ve taught me sooo much as well as ease most of my concerns as a new mommy. Thank you so much!! ❤️
I love you ♥️for the last month every day I’m falling asleep with you even wake up in the night ( almost every night...) and listening to your voice explaining things I am 9 month now and waiting every day, it is wonderful to listen to you I wish my nurse at the hospital will be nice and sweet as you are🥰😍❤️
15:02 you can clearly see that your thumb and palm of the hand is pressing on baby’s soft spot. Lots of people with no experience can hurt their babies if they don’t pay attention what they are doing. Thank you for sharing this video
I'm 35 weeks with baby #2 and it's been so long since I've had a newborn i forgot some of this. It was a great refresher for me 💖 thanks nurse zabe! 🙌🏻
This channel has been VERY informative throughout my pregnancy. I found out I was pregnant when I was 17(2 months before I turned 18) and I’ve definitely needed a lot of help lol I’m 37wks2D now and I’ve been so nervous as I could go into labor at any time now(already dilated to a 3 and thinning out).
Thank you for your last message!!! I’m 28weeks and one of the people who never planned or wanted children, but here we are... My husband is super excited, while I really can’t get too many warm feelings (especially after 22 weeks of hyperemesis gravidarum). I really needed someone to say that! Thank you again!
Aww Ms.Zabe, thanks for putting up this educations about labor and delivery! I am a maternal newborn nurse and I just love how you explain things to the viewers. 💗 love love!
I had my first little one May 29th and your videos helped so much. I told my team about you and my motto was ONE LESS after every contraction. Thank you so much!
I absolutely love your videos and how honest you are! I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby and your advice has been very helpful and calming. I'm in transition of switching obgyn because the one I was seeing left me feeling so depressed. He pretty much fat shamed me for how much weight I've gained during my pregnancy. He spewed a lot of worst case scenarios at me including an unavailable C-section, me bleeding out, having my "vagina fall out later", and even having a brain dead baby. He told me I was a failure in my pregnancy which really just made me shut down. He reassured me I wouldn't be able to lose weight between now and my due date. His words just keep replaying in my head but I'm trying to be optimistic. I just hope my next obgyn is as helpful and informative as you are.
I was induced with my second on May 6th/7th of this year, it started at around 1130 pm and I delivered at 846am, I didn’t hit 10cm until 830 ish, and 3 pushes and he was out.
Thank you so much for all your videos. You have no idea how much you have helped me get through my pregnancy and the first months of caring for my first born.
You are just so, so wonderful. I don’t have any babies yet, but we are probably going to try within the next year. The longer we wait, the more daunting pregnancy, L&D, and motherhood seem to become. You provide so much comfort and reassurance heading into that phase of my life. Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I just had my baby 18 days ago and I watched your videos during my pregnancy. This "fourth trimester" is absolutely a different kind of challenge. Your message at the end was helpful and reassuring. Thank you for all the information you've shared.
Thank you so much for this video I am babysitting my nephew Because her mom was diagnosed with Covid 19 and she's still in the hospital recovering, I have no preparation and not enough knowledge on taking care of a newborn baby this video helps a lot. 👍👍👍
I have no idea how much these videos help me. I'm a 21 year old first time mother (Due Oct 10th)and I'm trying so hard to prepare as much as possible. Thank you so much for the videos ❤️
You saying normal gives me so much comfort!! My son will be here January 3rd 2021 💙 I pray God keeps us during birth and after birth! I pray and think about my baby daily.. for a first time mom I know that’s NORMAL! 😆😊..thank you nurse!
So happy I found your channel, I got no helpful information when I had my first son, I thought he had something wrong with his heart when he had blue-ish feet and hands, I was so terrified of birth that I didn't take any classes which I regret, I am currently 10.5 weeks pregnant and trying to get all the info I can this time around, because not knowing was the most stressful thing in the world, it made me feel like a really bad mother and the anxiety contributed to post natal depression, I wish I could have you for my midwife, you are so lovely,💖
Thank you for telling new mommas it's ok to not immediately feel the overwhelming love that is often described. Sometimes, you have to get to know that little person face to face and fall in love with them. It's not always easy and hormones do not help sometimes.
Can you please make a video on when to know it’s time to go hospital for delivery? It would be really helpful at this time of covid19. You are really great at explaining things in detail. Love watching your videos and learned a lot from you.
My mom had me so fast my dad thought i wasn’t his. The nurse tried explaining it was just severe bruising from being born in less than an hour. Which is odd cause he is also a dark skinned mexican so its like why wouldn’t you expect a baby to be darker skinned
I was sort of the opposite and my dad kinda had same reaction. He's from Bangladesh so has the stereotypical "Indian" skin tone, my mum is white and when I was born, I was white, well pink I guess but you know what I mean lol I didn't start getting my skin tone I have now until a few days/weeks. My mum took one look at me and said "she's yours, I swear!!" Before he had the chance to say anything lol Once my eyes took their colour, there was no doubts as I'm his spitting image :(
I was a new mom to twins. One of my girls had bad jaundice so she had to go through phototherapy. My other twin had to be in the nicu for quite awhile. You are such a supportive nurse and I appreciate all the information. I wish I had as amazing nurses as you are.
My boy also had a burst capillary in his left eye from the intensity of birth. At first I was scared that he scratched his eye. He later got pretty bad acne. It didn't bother him, and cleared up after about a month with good moisturizing. My nurses also helped me express colostrum into a spoon to help feed him while we were struggling with latching.
As a PP nurse I LOVE this video, you answered the questions I get every single shift. I find that a lot of parents did research on babies but not the first 24 hours and that really throws them for a loop.
Hello! I am not even a mom and not pregnant but I really enjoy videos like this, they are very informative and I think nurses are great, thank you for educating us :)
I’m 27 weeks today and have come across your videos by chance. You have such a sweet and kind nature, you’re super informative! Please keep them coming 😍
28 weeks pregnant and I LOVE your videos. They have helped so much, especially with Covid reducing resources and cancelling appointments here and there.
I think that last point is so important, thank you! I felt like I was in shock after giving birth and didn't feel that instant connection. I was like, what planet have I landed on? I feel like I've been run over by a truck and this baby won't stop screaming and I'm supposed to be head over heels? Lol. Your description of woah this is a lot is accurate. I felt very guilty until I read how common this is. And the love comes! Just takes time and adjustment to this new phase of life. ♥️
Good to know this so I'm prepared. hehe I guess if we could love our husbands/partners despite their shortcomings, we could love a sweet innocent baby for sure! :p
Thank you for your videos Nurse Zabe! I had my baby in October and I remember being in early labor, in the bathtub to try and ease my back pain, listening to your video about what to pack in your hospital bag. Your videos helped keep me calm and feel prepared.
Just had my first baby in June and he had jaundice. Wish I had watched this before labor, I had no idea what it was and was a bit overwhelmed by the whole process. We did the light therapy for a couple of days and had to supplement with formula until my milk was fully in. That was the hardest part for me, caused all kinds of insecurity and fear (mostly due to lack of knowledge on the subject). Anyways, he’s a month old now and exclusively breastfeeding so if any other mommas out there are reading this know you’ll overcome it 💗
I needed this, thank you so much! I just had my first child two months ago and I hear everyone speak of this magical moment when they place the baby on you, but boy that was not my experience. Of coarse I love him SO MUCH but I didn’t have that initial feeling and I have definitely felt guilty about it. I’m so thankful for your videos because they have helped me a ton!!! You rock!!!🥰👍🏼
So normal to not have that magical moment, but it definitely makes you wonder if something has gone wrong. Congrats on the birth of you sweet little one! 💗
THIS IS SO HELPFUL!!!!! Holy cow, thank you so much!!! I'm due in August and we've taken a couple of newborn classes but honestly, there has been very little information about the first few hours/days of life!! Thank you for the heads up and info and tips! I love it so much!
I really appreciated how you talked about how you feel right after delivery! I had complications during my emergency c section and was so out of it and in shock from seeing her for the first time!🥰
Congratulations! I heard baby's heart beat for the first time 12 weeks ago at 12 weeks and it's WOW. Can't wait for you to hear yours if you have not already 😍
I didn’t get the vbac I was hoping for, unfortunately. But I did get the most beautiful baby girl! And I didn’t puke and pass out during the procedure this time 👍🏻 so I got to see her very soon afterwards and spend some moments with her. It was a traumatic day but we are healthy, together, and recovering ❤️
one of the best comments our paediatrician made was that most babies hate getting swaddled but love being swaddled. That was 100% true for us, swaddling was one of the best things for my little one. But she hated the process, pretty much as intensely as she loved the result.
I love this!!
I'm pretty sure this is why some parents think their baby doesn't like being swaddled.
I want to remember this
Thank everyone I
Instablaster.
I only hope all L&D and PP nurses are as sweet as you! Also, you should collaborate with Mama Dr Jones!
They are! 💗 And that would be super fun!!
I agree!
Oh yea that would be great
Yessssss MDJ is great that would be an epic video.
OMG yes please!!! I love mdj

New moms out there! You are not alone. Being a first time mom comes with some anxieties! Don't be hard in yourself you got this!!

Wow I’m 38 weeks tomorrow as well !! This just made me so excited lol. Congrats and I hope you have an amazing Labor and delivery
I second this comment!!
Hey! I'm 38 week today😍
Hey! We have the same due date!! 🥰🥰
"She's super petite, but she's VERY angry" I know a couple people who go by that description 😂😂😂 including my daughter 😂
Honestly if I knew I'd have a nurse like you, I might be more open to a hospital birth. You're wonderful and I'm so thankful you exist! Your laboring mothers are very blessed to have you as a care provider!
Also I'm 16 weeks pregnant and so freaking excited! 😁😁😁
There are many wonderful labor nurses around the US and the world! But thank you for the sweet compliment! 🤗
I didn’t cry when either of my babies were born. A few hours after my 2nd birth the woman in the room next to mine delivered and I sobbed. For my deliveries I was so shocked that they were actually here all of a sudden that I didn’t have emotion.
I know the feeling.
Same!! I cried hours later holding my baby because I was so in love lol
Omg yes I didn’t cry either! My husband was bawling his eyes out lol and I think I was just in a state of shock.
You just went through so much....it's not a movie....we feel how we feel. We need to give ourselves freedom to feel whatever, whenever.... all the best!👍
Unrelated but she reminds me of Drew Barrymore so much!
I kept thinking the same thing!
Yesss
Yes I was trying to figure out why she seemed so familiar
Okay nooo but a mix between Sarah Paulson & Drew Barrymore
Omg she does
Your nurse is what can make or break your hospital experience, what your nurse is like makes a bigger difference then who your doctor is (baring complications you almost never even see your doctor until it is time to push) six hospital births and I have had good and bad nurses (clueless or indifferent may be a better word then bad) and your labor and delivery nurse, postpartum nurse make such a big difference. My mom is eight months pregnant now, I’m literally so excited that I’m watching this video even tho I’m not pregnant lol (and the fact that mom already has four kids so she probably knows a lot lol)
Thank you so much for making this tho 🥺
Really helpful and easy to understand, (also you’re really calming, in a way, and idk I just appreciate it :( 💘 )

I agree. Halo sleep sacks have worked for all 3 of my babies. arms in or out, I could accommodate both
Yeah, I’m a good swaddler and I rocked the halo sleep sacks quite a lot!
There's also those sleep sac pods. Where the baby can have their arms up instead of kept down.
Could you possibly make a video on your story becoming a labor delivery nurse? Where you went to school, requirements and what you had to do after you finished nursing school? It would make me so happy, as I aspire to be like you! Thanks love. 🖤
I wish you could be my labor and delivery nurse!
I’m sure you nurse will be fabulous and perfect for you and your family! 💗
i second this!!!
I was thinking the exact same thing!!!❤️
I am due this month, thank you for posting this! You helped me realize how much the baby has to get used to being a human on top of myself getting used to motherhood.
Yes, that 4th trimester is a beautiful and challenging time for moms and babies. Take things slow and give you both plenty of grace. 💗
I'm 32 weeks and just found your channel. I feel like I'm not doing that much to be more knowledgable about giving birth or taking care of new born babies just because I don't really like reading long articles or watching long videos. Thank you! Glad my videos are able to answer some questions for you! Sorry I talk so much 😂🤦🏼♀️
I am currently pregnant with baby #5. Your videos are a great refresher and are getting me so excited for what an empowering and special time this is. Thank you for your informative videos. You do a great job of explaining and normalizing what really happens during labor and recovery.
That is awesome to hear even with 5 pregnancies these videos are still helpful. Hope all is well with you and your precious family 💕
My son was exhausted right after my c section. He slept for 6 hours then was ready to eat. Drove the nurses nuts! Definitely showed a glimpse of the future of what his strong willed personality.😂

Totally normal. Birth is so overwhelming, it can take a while to meet this beautiful little person you created. 💗
I was in such a daze after birth and the baby was immediately taken because she wasn’t breathing well (meconium in the lungs). I'm in my mid thirties and having my first, Thank God for Nurse Zabe!!! 🥰❤
You should do one on 6-12 month and so on with children’s development
Interesting idea, not my area of expertise, but maybe I could consult a fellow nurse!
Please please do a video on hyperemesis gravidarum. I am suffering so much every day
Yes. I second this, I have been suffering with this my entire pregnancy. Hospitalized 3 times, it's no joke and not much awareness about it.
Yes please ..I’m 10 weeks and trying not to die ;(
I seriously love this lady, she is an angel❤
My youngest child is 14 years old and it still hurts my heart that he had to go straight to the NICU immediately after birth so I missed out on skin to skin and the first big breastfeeding session. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything in the world!! 💖
I am so happy that you guys had a such a long and beautiful breastfeeding relationship. It really is the most special relationship I have personally ever had. 💗
Great reminders even though this is my 2nd baby! You should do one about adjusting to having multiple kids/helping big sibs adjust :)
I’ve got one!
10 Things Your Labor Nurse Wants You to Know about Baby #2+
Baby #3 or will it apply?
Of course I loved my son when he was first born, but I didn't have that overwhelming fierce love that she talked about. Now he's two months old and my god, his smile makes me the happiest mom in the world. It just takes time.
I had my baby yesterday perfect timing 🤩
Dang, that is! Congrats on your little one!
I catch myself swaying when I’m not even holding baby. I’ve noticed myself doing it at the grocery store 😂
So yea the natural rhythm of swaying is real lol
same here. i was swaying side to side while waiting in line at the store. i can’t stand still anymore ever since i had my baby 6 weeks ago 😂
HAHAH! this made me smile 😆 Will take note when my baby arrives ahahhaha
Maria Salazar guess we know how to spot which moms have babies when we’re out somewhere. Just look for the ladies swaying while waiting in line 😂
dawn for life in Switzerland congratulations 🙂 when are you due?
I start swaying in pregnancy 😆
Im only 11 weeks now but already freaking out. My pregnancy was planned but I feel like there is sooo much stuff to know and what if I forget something? You know
I wish you had this platform 17 yrs ago when I was thinking about how my labor & birth would. Thank you for providing information to new moms & families
Watching this with my 1-day-old!
Congratulations!
I'm a first time-soon to be mum, I'm only 9 weeks but I will be more than prepared by the time I'm due thanks to your videos! I've already learnt SO much.
I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I'm pretty sure I've seen most of your videos throughout this pregnancy 😭 thank you for being so informative and sweet ❤
I'm on baby number three and know most of this, but I still couldn't stop watching because you have an amazing teaching voice and skill!
I'm pregnant with my first baby. I just found your channel last night and I am sooo thankful for your videos. They have been beyond informative and have really helped to set my mind at ease. Thank you so much!💕
Very helpful, first time mom due June 3rd and I'm very thankful for you sharing your knowledge!!!
Good luck! You will be amazing 🥰
You’re so welcome! Wishing you a safe and supported delivery! 💗💗
Wishing you the best of luck for a healthy and safe delivery! I’ll be getting induced with baby #1 tomorrow, and i found this video has perfect timing haha
Good luck! Our little boy was due June 3rd but came early May 22! It’s been hectic but it’s beautiful.
@@KylaPlumlee congratulations!!! 💙💙💙
💗 Love that you are preparing even before you’re pregnant. Definitely keep us posted. 😊
@@Nurse_zabe Will do. Thanks!
Sending a ton of baby dust to you!!!
I was also prepping before birth. It's never too early! Always so much to learn =)
Wishing you the best, one day at a time, in God's time (or the universe, whichever you believe in :))
Blessings and good 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!!!!
Oh wow, I could have used this when I had my first!! What a great resource for new moms (or refresher for the rest of us!!)
I wish you could be my nurse, you've told me more insight than my OB
Thank you so much for all these video's. I am now 11 weeks Pregnant and feel so unprepared. Watching your videos make me feel a little more relaxed.
Just gave birth may 30 with my first baby and pushed her less then 10 minutes I was shocked !
Great work and congrats on your sweet little one!
Your videos have been helping me soooo much since I first found out I was pregnant. This will be my first child, i’m 34 weeks and you’ve taught me sooo much as well as ease most of my concerns as a new mommy. Thank you so much!! ❤️
I love you ♥️for the last month every day I’m falling asleep with you even wake up in the night ( almost every night...) and listening to your voice explaining things I am 9 month now and waiting every day, it is wonderful to listen to you I wish my nurse at the hospital will be nice and sweet as you are🥰😍❤️
You are too sweet. Wishing you a safe and supported delivery so soon. So excited for you to have your beautiful baby in your arms. 💗
Also I wanted to add that this video has made me very emotional...I think it’s because I know I’m so close to this.
Aww, your baby will already be around 3 years now! ❤ How time flies!
Your Channel has helped me so much with feeling less scared of being a first time mom. I’ve learned so much! Thank you 🙏
Aww Ms.Zabe, thanks for putting up this educations about labor and delivery! I am a maternal newborn nurse and I just love how you explain things to the viewers. 💗 love love!
17 weeks pregnant and crying, tips are amazing and the reassurance is even better. Thank you for putting out such positive information
I had my first little one May 29th and your videos helped so much. I told my team about you and my motto was ONE LESS after every contraction. Thank you so much!
31 weeks (tomorrow) with my first baby and love these videos 🥰😁
💗💗💗
Rock on, mama! Second baby do come faster once you actually get into labor. And only 3 pushes is awesome!
I am currently about 34weeks. This was so beautiful. I'm bawling rn.
Thank you so much for all your videos. You have no idea how much you have helped me get through my pregnancy and the first months of caring for my first born.
Due in 2 more weeks!! I have a 4.5 year old so this refresher is so appreciated! 😭💕
It’s amazing how much you forget with all that sleep deprivation! 😬😂
I'm due the 22nd. I have a 7 yr old and a 3 yr old and I'm still watching! Ha
I'm preg with baby number two and it's been awhile. I love watching her videos bc they remind me that I'm okay and baby is okay! Thank you!
God bless you, you are for sure an angel. I believe most nurses are angels in disguise
Thank you so much for this video
I am babysitting my nephew
Because her mom was diagnosed with Covid 19 and she's still in the hospital recovering,
I have no preparation and not enough knowledge on taking care of a newborn baby this video helps a lot.
I want her as my nurse. I could listen to her talk all day😍😍
Can you please make a video on when to know it’s time to go hospital for delivery? It would be really helpful at this time of covid19. You are really great at explaining things in detail. Love watching your videos and learned a lot from you.
If you watch my last video (which is a reaction video to the office) I detail when to go to the hospital. But I can add a solo video on that too!
Thank you so much this has taught me so much! I’m 16 and 37 weeks pregnant she’s due anytime from now! 💞😊
5 weeks away and terrified and excited and just a mish mash of everything and I’ve been returning to this video ever since 1st trim!
My mom had me so fast my dad thought i wasn’t his. The nurse tried explaining it was just severe bruising from being born in less than an hour. Which is odd cause he is also a dark skinned mexican so its like why wouldn’t you expect a baby to be darker skinned
Oh my goodness 😬
Same happened with my husband and both our sons and he is from India, yet he found weird how they had darker skin their first hours.
Yeah, babies are weird little creatures, especially when they are super fresh! Anything you’d add to the list?
Aw, this makes me so happy to hear. Congrats on your little one!!
My daughter is two months as of this week!! This video is way more in depth than what my doctors and nurses told me.
You have been my close personal friend these last couple months of my first pregnancy 😅💕 I feel so informed thank you so much!!
Glad I could help fill in some gaps in knowledge for you! Good luck with your upcoming birth. You’ve got this! 💪🏼💗
Had my baby 8 months ago but still love watching you!! ❤❤
Thanks for hanging around!
Love all your videos, due Halloween 2020 with my first! A GIRL!! You’re so informative and easy to listen to, thank you ❤️
That would be a fun due date to be born on. Congrats! 💗
Nurse Zabe my daughter was born 10/31 at 10:31pm! In 2017
I’m on baby number 4 and 35 weeks along. I still want ALL the information and LOVE your videos. Haha
I really appreciated how you talked about how you feel right after delivery! I had complications during my emergency c section and was so out of it and in shock from seeing her for the first time!🥰
I’m only 12 weeks, but I’m loving your channel! Thanks for all the great info! 🥰
Congratulations! I heard baby's heart beat for the first time 12 weeks ago at 12 weeks and it's WOW. Can't wait for you to hear yours if you have not already 😍
Congrats on hitting your second trimester!
I’m getting induced with my 2nd tomorrow at 6 am!! Hoping for a vbac and to actually get to be with her for those first few moments of her life ❤️
Good luck!!! Let us know how it goes. You’ve got this. 💪🏼💗
I hope it went well! :)
@@bridgetj7003 aww glad to hear you and baby are well! congratulations mama!
