for anyone having issues with your came freezing on multiple scenes under sources>video capture>properties> "deactivate when not showing" and now its working on all of them but i had to do this on every scene that has that camera used on it.

What version is this? I'm not seeing these options on the most recent as of April.
I'm curious about the insolation on your ceiling. Is that for dampening the sounds in your streaming room, or to lessen footstep noise from above? At my last apt, I considered doing something similar.

Awesome, thanks for these tips! I'm currently using some action cams as footage cameras for recording DJ sets into OBS, and was confused with all those settings in there. The image quality can go up to 4k 30fps, and i kept fiddling around with yhe settings on them but couldn't get anything to not look grainy. I'll definitely try these steps out!

@kakashi2801 the idea isn't to copy exactly what he did. It's to take it as a base example and adjust according to your preference and setup
If I just went out and bought a Canon Rebel t7 would that fix the issue as well?
Can you show us the OBS/camera settings for the camera you used to record this video? I have a EOSR100. And I use that as a webcam, I just wanna know how to make that camera look better for my facecam
