Currently, the only light I can afford is the overhead light that came with the room. I may end up having to give up RUclips altogether soon since I have a baby coming in January.
Sorry, Michael. This one is a miss for me. I appreciate you trying to help out those with lower-cost equipment and getting it to look as best as it can. That to me is a win. But if you are dealing with multiple cameras and switching between them, and if you have a DSLR for one and webcams for the others due to lack of funds, it's pretty jarring switching between them. I was hoping to to see something more along the lines of having color correction and color matching between the cameras and fixing that sort of issue. Basically having a seamless look between different camera types. More and more I'm thinking that's not really possible, and that to achieve that one needs to invest in multiple DSLRs. I appreciate your videos and what you are trying to do here. It's just not a win for me this time around. Keep up the great work though!
Michael I have been following you for years. Thank you for all the videos. With all the new 360 cameras how do we connect those to OBS? I have an Insta360 X3 that can work as a webcam, but I can not get the X3 to show a video feed. Any thing you can help with would be greatly appreciated. TY

I was looking for something that I could use to make a duplicate copy of my Webcam so I could have two, one for day (which looks awesome with natural light) then one for night time with studio lights. But when I tried just normally it, it just copied the same settings to each. So this clone thing might work out well. But I do have a question and I hope you maybe make a small quick little video or link a video for this question. I have been trying to find out "How to get the NVIDIA Background Removal for OBS" I know, it should a simple thing to find, but honestly it's been a big headache for me. I have a new 2023-24 PC with the newest NVIDIA Graphics card and all that jazz. But when I go to the steps I've seen you do in your tutorials and this one, I can't find it in my OBS drop down screen or settings. How and where do I get it? Do I have to download it from the NVIDIA website? I just have not had very good luck in finding information on this. I might not be typing in the correct wordage in the search engine but I have tried different ways to ask the question. So if you have any tips or a simple easy way to get this I would really like to try it out because I would love to take advantage of the hardware and software that I have. Thanks again and keep up the good work. :)
I don’t think you can beat having The Real deal camera ;-) unfortunately don’t think you’re quite delivered ha ha! I use a Sony 6400A with a prime lens I love it when you can afford it make sure you get it awesome camera
My main cameras are both Sonys. A6400 and A6500. I have been using them for years and the main lenses are just cheap primes as well. Lots of people can't afford them so this vid is just for folks who have to use a webcam because its what they have.

I have heard that there is a way to connect Discord with Touch Portal that allows the viewers to control things in an active livestream, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Things like changing cameras, playing audio or video clips, Now I don't want that kind of chaos going on, but what I do want is to give one of my moderators the ability to change my scenes for me... acting as an offsite producer of sorts. I make art content and often get lost in the art, this means I am sometimes not painting in the cameras field of view, or I'll go to full screen on the art and then start talking into a camera that no one can actually see. If this is something you could figure out and share with us, I'm sure it could help out a lot of people as it would be a great way to have a helper that doesn't have to be in the room with you. Thanks for all you do, Keep up the great work.
Something like that would take a few seconds with streamerbot and chat commands. You mod could use a chat command only they have access to to change scenes.
i have just subscrided, I am a 60 year old newbie, I am getting to grips with obs, I like your videos, but sometimes a little too quick in terms of speed. loved I subscribe to very few channels so thank you.
It seems obs has different settings for different cameras. I don't get any of these configure video settings that you have. My dji pocket 3 in webcam mode can not access the full range of adjustments however you can control the zoom pan and tilt. My main camera has different settings again. Only the webcam built into the computer has all the adjustments. I am using the latest version.
most off the shelf cheepo webcams will be really similar to the one I show here. The ajustments are actually camera specific. the ones OBS is opening are the ones built into the camera.
i have a question about using OBS for Microsoft Teams. Somehow i can't use my greenscreen on Teams in combination with OBS. Do you know how i can fix that?

I use theses for use my a77 and a99 as a webcam. I just crop, because theses cameras dont have HDMI clean out

Definitely my type of content. I use a bunch of GoPro cameras, 1 Sony A6000 with the kit lens.
Love my sony. I have an a6400 and a6500.
I actually liked the skin tones on the $20 camera. Of course, the SLR had much better resolution.
The slr has a much softer image.

The key is not to have the Mic on for both cameras, it doesnt matter which one you leave on, but one must be off.

Are there any tricks when using a camera switcher? I have 7 cameras for my podcast running through an ATEM Pro ISO.

I do not. But if you are using obs it makes more sense to do all the effects in obs before you send a signal to teams.

I kinda use the eye test for everything. If it looks better I go with it. Lol
