Okay, I have to say. You saved me hundreds of dollars on buying a new camera. I was tweaking stuff left and right. I even considered a GoPro because of it's auto-correct and night mode. My Logitech will have to do for now :). Thanks again!
Thank you for the reminder on those settings! I got myself to the point where I had piled on tweak after tweak that my shot was WAY overproduced and looking really dodgy. I started over from scratch and followed along with your steps, and I'm a LOT happier with my image now!
After WEEKS of having a ridiculous shiny spot on my fivehead for my streams, I've been able to fix it thanks to this guide. My whole setup looks WAY better as a result of everything else I've learned. Thanks!
Thanks man, had gone around all the basic settings trying to find something decent but was not getting the results that I wanted, event though I have a mirrorless Canon M50 Mark I mounted there, applied some LUT, and toned down on the settings I had used before, the result is quite nice. Went back to the basics, and when I came back and applied the LUT the result is quite good. One thing that improved the results a LOT was setting my camera from the Automatic mode to the manual video recording mode, in there I could set the things precisely how I liked them and apply the good things IMO from a mirrorless IMO: lens zoom, facetracking, WB manual adjustment, ISO control, F distance among others. The rest, just upped contrast and sat a lil bit in OBS and done. Thanks again man!
I just did my first stream last Thur and it can only go up from there. The first thing I wanted to address after that was lighting and this was exactly what I was looking for for help. Thank you so much and definitely going to check out your mic quality video next!
My office is pretty boring and usually messy so I opted with angling my webcam towards the wall and sticking a green screen to said wall with command strips. Then instead of just cropping out that section I overlaid a "spaceship window frame" image I found on Google, and then inside of that frame I put a running on Loop video of the illusive man's office from Mass Effect 2. Then added my stream chat to Overlay in the window as well. Looking like a digital display on said spaceship. I think it looks really cool and adds a bit of interactivity with my viewers when they see their comments popping up next to me 😊
I've barely had time to implement all your advice, but I'm trying. Thank you for doing what you do, and I'll try to get you some more viewers by sharing what I can.

Literally life changing. 💀 How has no one else ever casually mentioned LUT filters? The difference this video made to my stream was noticeable. Totally recommending it to fellow streamers and content creators.
Nice little trick i found to create fake Depth of Field: Create your primary camera source on a separate scene, then in the scene you want to see your camera add two source mirrors of the camera, layered one on top of the other, the top one add a virtual green screen filter (streamFX plugin, allows you to green screen without actually having a green screen) and the bottom one add a blur filter. Bingo your background is slightly blurred and you are in focus.

Hey I was wondering of what you thought about someone under 18 streaming and trying to reach an affliate stance, do you think It's realistic without the income or knowledge and motivation thanks : )
This might sound harsh but I think as a teenager if they really want to make it as a Streamer they shouldn't stream whatsoever. Putting aside the fact that at 14-16, you most likely don't have the money to do it properly but honestly, most aren't emotionally mature enough or have the experience to be able to handle the things that come with streaming. I know at 16 I wouldn't be, and I know based off this channel and seeing teenagers trying that this is pretty spot on. If someone REALLY wants to make Streaming and Content Creation their goal, then as I said, DO NOT STREAM, step away and practice learning about filmmaking/video production while you finish high school. Watch lighting tutorials, sound tutorials, learn the ins and outs of the trade. Make short films on your phone, and you don’t even have to release them. Study properly and take notes on everything. Research how online content works, study marketing, VSEO. The biggest part, step away from content as entertainment you enjoy and really look at it from the outside, why it works, how it works, why people do certain things, why people enjoy it. Practice storytelling, improv, and spend time growing as a person, learning experiences, and meeting new people. When I was a Teenager I got told, "Starting something is never wasted effort. It takes 10,000 hours to be considered a master, so anyone who starts young and works hard will be much further ahead than those who start at university." and this is the core concept, you don't have to stream to work towards those hours. If a young person really wants to do this, take the time now to grow skills that will benefit you in the future when you are older and ready to tackle it. Hope this isn't seen as discouraging but I think it is a much smarter path and safer path for young people. Good luck!
@@StreamScheme I agree and will personally use this advise, though maybe I would still like to stream maybe 2 days a week I really do appreciate all the things you make because before I though about content creation I originally thought about orchestra but I noticed there was no REAL success in that and other than music content creation is so fun, thank you for all the things you make fr man : )

I use Nvidia broadcast for both my mic and my webcam. I don't use webcam for my streams as for the mic I did use your guide for my mic just for the noise gate and limiter. Nvidia broadcast for my webcam I can use to blur the background or remove, even replace the background whereas the mic I do a noise removal because I have a loud AC unit next to my computer station. I also stream and game in my bedroom with windows infront of me. I do use RTX 3080 with 32gb ram and 3.70ghz CPU

@@StreamScheme Worried! No mate. It was a great video! I use the C920 and I learnt alot of useful advice here. Don't be too hard on yourself #earlygangalways
KEEP EM COMING!! :) lol love your videos
Thanks for the videos. As a small streamer trying to make my way I cannot say how appreciated it is - well, I can. Thanks!
I have followed the steps here and have a way better looking wecam image for my Logitech Streamcam. One issue though. After a few mins the settings I have made in the "Configure Video" part (White Balance, Bright, Sat etc) all get reset to default. Any idea why?
Could the Logitech capture software be resetting it?
This is great! Thanks for the sharing your tips!
Glad it was helpful!
can you connect your phone or like your computer camera to your stream ?
Hi dude i have a trouble when i turn off my laptop the settings before adjust remove and set default again, u know how i can fix this? greetings from Chile
Hey what kind of webcam do you recommend? I have an Emeet 4k webcam and im not happy with it…
Yo bro great video and very informative
What cam would you recommed for a book (think dungeons and dragons) review? My cellphone or the apps I am using with it are not good enough - crap focus, wrong zoom settings...
Awesome stuff! Gave me an idea I haven't tried yet either 👍
And you gave me an idea for a whole section of this video ;)
@@StreamScheme had a feeling that bit referenced the time you helped me out. Glad it gave you something to use dude 👍
Good luck!
@@StreamScheme I agree and will personally use this advise, though maybe I would still like to stream maybe 2 days a week I really do appreciate all the things you make because before I though about content creation I originally thought about orchestra but I noticed there was no REAL success in that and other than music content creation is so fun, thank you for all the things you make fr man : )
this helped thank you.
Glad to hear!
What kind of camera do you use for your video your making? How do you hook it up to your pc?
I have a Cannon camera I can use. I have no idea how to hook it to my pc
For some reason the gain option is greyed out for me under Properties. Any idea why?
Likely your webcam won’t allow your OBS to control it, either drivers are out of date or just not a compatible cam.
@@StreamScheme Thank you for the quick reply! It's a 30 dollar cam from Walmart so I'm not surprised lol. Also just wanted to say your videos have helped me so much!
Can you do a video for how to get people chatting?
Scripting it this week, will be coming out in the next month or so :)
The helped me so much!!!!
Do you have a video about that thing you said you use now instead of webcams? Mirrorless or something.
Mirrorless cameras are incredibly expensive, you're better off using a smartphone if you can't use a webcam.
Nvidia broadcast can go a long way especially with a a decent GPU like yours that’s for sure!
