Bro!!!! You just saved me from such a headache. My 4k camera broke so I'm using a cheap webcam from my drawer in the meantime and couldn't get the green spill to go away until this video. One thing I would recommend for people that have a camera lower than 4k is after following your steps in this video, also slowly lower the gamma setting to your liking. It will increase the definition of the image.
Second tuturial I watched for this. SO much more concise than the first one. Dude had me looking all gray before but that wasn't an issue with your method. Thank you!
I just wanted you to know that after looking at several other channels which offered ways to set up a green screen with OBS- I had no success with those but then I tried your method and it worked! I have the same green screen- just got it from B&H but I'm a newbie with OBS and it's a bit complex. The problem is I don't have good lighting in my office so the methods others offered didn't clear out the pixels as yours did. I'll now have to work on the lighting and I will see how you set yours up. 😃
This video is EXACTLY what I needed because my green screen wasn't showing up as proper green and nobody else addressed that issue. XD Thanks so much! Dropped a like😘
sorry i have one little problem with obs while recording, basically the program is recording every piece of green as black colour. Does anyone knows how to solve the problem? Thanks
Yes, this is called "Scene nesting" which I plan on making a video on here soon hopefully. The idea is to add your camera to a scene by itself and then add the filter to the scene instead of the camera source. Look up "scene nesting obs"
Having a nice cam def helps the chroma process. Even with a c920 using these settings and good lighting it is tough to make it look clean. That new elgato facecam would do pretty well for a decent price. My camera is a mirrorless sony a6100 with a sigma 30 lens!
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this tutorial and for sharing it with us, Nug. I for one am very appreciative of the tutorial, but also the no bells & whistles, no sidetracking approach. Bang on, here you go, get on it. I love it! Thank you, thank you. With or without the tutorial, I pray you know you're loved so very much. Love, forever your biggest fan, QT.
Love that you get STRAIGHT TO THE POINT instead of talking random BS for 10 minutes like most tutorials. Appreciate you, dude.
Using a rail cam for the opening shot is a huge flex. You should do more tutorials. You are good at them.

Just have a very expensive camera and obs will do pretty much the rest. not very helpful for me.

Very little resources are used for a chroma

Very useful, I didn't know that you could use the screen color picker could be used.
What color temperature do you find best to use with your lights? I have 2 elgato key lights set at 4550k.
I run both of my lights at 4700k! (20% brightness)
Top tier tutorial!
Hey nug good video just the lighting I have lights ring and room lights is that fine
Legend, thanks for the help
Thank you, it is the best trick on youtube
Can anyone explain why mine is so pixelated?
Also my face is being affected by the settings as well
Good lighting is very important -- also having the green screen lit separately from yourself is important too.
Dope vidja! Great info and you’re not live right now.
How do you light your green screen?
I have two Elgato key lights that run at different angles around 20% brightness
tfw you see a nugrun video pop up on youtube 3:03
What camera do you use?
sony a6100 with a sigma 16mm 1.4
