  • I hope you enjoy my tutorial on the Ocean Waves Stitch this can be made into any size with a starting chain with a multiple of 3 + 2.
    I rate this stitch with a difficulty of 4️⃣ out of ten. As it can get confusing to know where to place stitches.

    Oh wow! I love going through RUclips finding new stitches to learn and I came across your video on the Ocean Waves tutorial an said to myself, I have to try this. I love how you did the replace the chain 3 and turn. Can that be done on the chain 2 and turn also and can you use this on anything you’re making? I am definitely making a scarf or blanket with this stitch, and I am subscribing to see what else I can learn from you, thank you 😊

      Thank you so much! I love this stitch and wish this video was better quality, it was only the 3rd video I ever made!
      Unfortunately the standing crochet only works on double crochets or larger. I use it all the time.

    What if you want to do a larger blanket? Chaining 30 + 2 is pretty small???

    • @Shesstitchin
      @Shesstitchin  Месяц назад

      @@jpzolo58 hi it’s going to be a multiple of 3 + 2. This was one of my earliest videos so I forgot to say that. So if you want to do something about 100 stitches long, 99 is the closest multiple of 3 and then you add 2 and your starting chain would be 101

  • @bigcitiescomfybeds
    @bigcitiescomfybeds 2 года назад +1

    I’m trying to make a blanket using these stitches. How would I multiply the base? I know 32 was the ending chain count, with 3(?) extra for the beginning of the double crochets. For example, would it be 29x10, and then add 3? Thanks for any advice.

    • @Shesstitchin
      @Shesstitchin  2 года назад +1

      I’m sorry a multiple of 3 + 2. So 300 is a multiple of 3 and then add 2 so you would start with 302 chains.

      I was making a blanket and needed to keep that small stitch count because it was different patches all the same size.
      In order to do this stitch in a larger or a smaller size, use a multiple of 3 + 2.
