    I did carnivore for 3 months. Only meat, fish, dairy and eggs, no fruit. Lost a tonne of bodyfat. Energy went through the roof. No bloating. Endurance and strength sky rocketed! PBd my 5km and got a 220kg deadlift for 3 reps at 70kg bodyweight!

    I'm actually on full carnivore (no fruit or plant products at all) for 90 days to see if it helps stabilize my hormones and help reduce insulin resistance and help stabilize my autoimmune. 20 days in and I feel good, but I do miss the variety a little but mostly Asian foods (my favorite!). Hopefully I'll feel even better after the trial 90 days and not feel the need to go back! Good luck on your journey too!

    My diet plan is meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and a bit of sugar.

    Currently on a very similar diet (although including yogurt too) - you are so right re: making small adjustments for family etc. Diets need to be realistic in order to be maintainable. They also need to be flexible (to an extent) in order to not drive you insane/alienate you from everyone around you 😂😂😂

    super neat to see my man! I've been "intentional" about my food for nearly a decade now & still trying to figure it out everyday! RN i'm trying to eat a little less overall vs the 5k i was packing in during peak CF training - trying to give my system a bit of a break. I'm pretty opposite to you as far as macro's go, I stay pretty low fat & higher carb. Have tried everything over the years but that's the breakdown i feel the best with :) Love yea dude

    Have been tracking my macros for nearly 3 years now and have a good spread of healthy fats, carbs and of course protein. Everything in moderation is my motto even the weekend treats, yolo😂

      Love that, and that’s really what it boils down to ay, moderation and just levels that support your activity - no excess 👌.

    I like the try and see what your body does approach. Everyone has a slightly different ability to respond to different eating strategies.

    Medium rare is the only way to go.
    Would love to try a carnivore diet but just feel like it would be very expensive. However I like the way you do it where you almost just cut out grain type foods. Almost leaning towards a Paleo diet.

    Medium all the way! How are you feeling energy wise? Will you do this long term?

    • @wykieetsebeth
      @wykieetsebeth  5 месяцев назад

      I’ve got loads of energy, and it lasts all day 👌. No real highs and lows like I experience when I’ve got sugar in my diet! I will always prioritise protein at every meal and will try my best to stay away from sugar, but I will reintroduce rice, bread and potatoes again mainly because I love them, not so much for the nutritional value 👍

    Great if it works for you! In contrast, for longevity purposes I'm trying to reduce animal protein. I still eat steak once or twice a week and chicken maybe 3-4 times but trying to make up the rest with vegetarian options. If you do any in depth reading into longevity most research points to minimising animal products. I still eat eggs every morning though with avocado. I also find if I'm doing any decent volume of HIIT or running I need to make sure I'm getting carbs that last longer than fruit such as steel cut oats, wholemeal sourdough. Loving the blueberries here too. I hit up about 80 grams every morning from the frozen organic Costco ones, which are the cheapest way to eat heaps of them. Peace!
