Love your take on the carnivore diet however I would respectfully disagree that it’s not a long term solution. I’m 61 yrs old and am now 486 days on carnivore and have not only lost 93 lbs (300 lbs to now 207, my lowest weight since I was 20 yrs old)… I’ve reversed/cured T2 diabetes, sky high blood pressure, IBS, acid reflux, sleep apnea, migraines, chronic fatigue and arthritis in my knees and back so bad I could hardly walk, brain fog, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and so much more and… OFF ALL MEDS!! I have trouble exercising consistently. Do you think carnivore can still have benefits without as much exercise? I’m afraid of gaining a ton of weight seeing how much people eat on this diet especially if I hardly exercise. Then I think, maybe I will have to eat lower calories? But I hate counting calories. So then I get stuck :/
Changing your diet alone you will benefit. I work out way less than I used to. I used to work out 5 days a week and now I am down to 2 to 3 days. Eating this way consistently you will be way leaner. It's really hard to overeat so you end up eating less calories. Try eating a good size steak as your first meal to test, I bet you will not be hungry for hours.
Benefits will be similar, no you will not gain weight. Your body will satiate and you will recognize hunger and also cues when full. Besides, steak is easy to prepare in a few minutes, keep some meat in the fridge, cooked or uncooked, so you don't eat junk when hungry
Carnivore diet, as Dr. Anthony Chaffee said, mimics the benefits of fasting. I’m experimenting for 2 months now without working out. My gut is slowly shaving fat. My neck is getting tighter. I feel lighter and not feeling bloated. And mind you, I eat a lot of fatty meat and butter. It’s a great weight loss hack. Experiment on it for a month and see.

You dont have exercise on keto or carnivore to lose weight but it sure helps, just cut all sugar and carbs.
