    • @RandomHuTaoSimp
      @RandomHuTaoSimp 8 месяцев назад +4

      This is because you are not doing at least 1 large boles of protein a day to drive insuslin signaling to the kidneys to hold on to the proper, physiological homeostatic amount of electrolytes to run your central nervous system. Try eating 120+ grams of protein in at least 1 meal in a given day, and see if your electrolyte problem goes away. It might take adaption if you are not use to this 1 meal a day. And you are hitting 2 birds with one stone is you close the gap on your eating window, why? Because the longer of a fast you have day to day, fasting drives the adaption of hanging on to correct amount of electrolytes to maintain homeostasis.

    I needed supplements for the first several years on carnivore. I tested low for B12, 0 Folate after the first year on meat only, low potassium to the point of needing an IV, and low C symptoms. I had crippling symptoms from vitamin deficiency. I may be an exception but Im certainly not alone. Now I take organs instead. I have head that eating overcooked meat may affect vitamin content. I started with gut issues that probably contributed also.

      Do you cook your meat to well done? Beef doesn't usually need it, pork, chicken, and fish should be cooked to done though. Even lightly charred beef will lack most of the vitamins that were there before you cooked it.

    • @elag.198
      @elag.198 Год назад +4

      @Cris Bowman Often, I do. I have heard that affects vitamin c content. I've known other carnivores who eat well done and don't have issues although that might have contributed for sure. Sometimes I have trouble eating meat and the only way I can get it down is well done. Maybe I should make raw beef pills. I have also known raw carnivores with chronic vitamin deficiencies. My issues eventually healed but it took many years on meat, butter, salt, and water.

    Modern meat is still deficient in a lot of things our modern soils are, even grassfed. Basically all minerals, especially magnesium and copper, are depleted in our soils, although the animals do concentrate a lot of what is still there for you. I'd definitely supplement electrolytes and get your iron/copper/zinc/iodine etc. levels checked. Organ meats are a good source of a lot of these.

    do vitamin injections or nutrition iv therapy so much easy than supplementing, supplementing is a sucky way to go you omly get partial of the vitamin cause it goes through stomach. Vitamin/mineral injections/ ivs last a long time and you get a hundred percent absorbtion through blood stream and optimal nutrition levels same day. Vitamin d injections can last up to 1-3 months and matters the dose. If you want to know what vitamins you need go to a holistic dr, they do very thorough nutrtion blood testing regular drs and providers wount do and dont do. Holistic drs and medical spas do iv nutrition therapy and nutrition injections. wayyyyyyyyy better then supplementing!

      It's not necessary really. I have liver like once per week and if I go without it, I don't feel too different.

      I have liver every now and then. I know it is a super food but I feel great as well when I don't have it.
      I eat it raw with lots of salt and drops of lime. I like it better this way than seared.

      Freeze it in small pieces and take it like a pill each day, you don’t need much.

      Chicken liver isn’t as “livery” tasting.
      And Cod Livers - I know it sounds gross- have nearly no taste at all. Honestly! I chop them up and to scrambled eggs.

    I think this video is erroneous and Dr. Baker should either take it down or explain in detail how the daily dose of vitamins van be obtained from meat. Meat simply doesn't have all the vitamins needed by the human body.

    This is incorrect. The soil has been depleted of essential microorganisms that convert minerals into bioavailable nutrients the body can use. The reason for this is the massive monocropping and industrial agriculture. I recommend looking into a fulvic/humic humic supplement. This will help give you the trace minerals missing in soil.

      bone broth has micro nutrients too ...for the thyroid , for example.

      @ken adams No disrespect but this is also incorrect. If the soil is depleted it doesn't matter what is growing or grazing on it
      It will also be depleted. This is why rotational grazing and regenerative agriculture is so important. It rebuilds soil health. Without soil health humanity is over.

    Cold press juice is the best. Insane strength development among many other attributes.
    A well kept secret, that most people don’t believe or don’t have the time, money, and/or knowledge to do.
    Your welcome.
