What I Ate Today on Carnivore Diet +Cheat Meal

- Here is what I ate today on the carnivore diet. I try to get a 70% fat ratio and 30% protein with at least 130g of protein per day. When we have a cheat meal, we try to keep it keto. One of the things I miss the most on carnivore is salad and grilled veggies, so we indulged today :)

Thanks for sharing, I’ve been doing my own version of carnivore/ketovore for the past couple of weeks. I’ve done well, but ran into some life problems. Before I completely fell off & let the wagon run me over and drag me…. I decided that no matter what, I would just stay keto!!!! It could only possibly slow my progress some, but I’m making that pledge to myself.
Hello, and I think that’s a great mindset! I always feel better when I’m eating keto or carnivore so even when life gets difficult, if I just continue eating that way, it makes my life just a little bit easier, and that helps me to get through👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for sharing this, I feel it's important for people to see how others manage carnivore in the real world. Sharing this could make the difference for someone who wants to stay carnivore in the main but struggles with the thought of never eating something non carnivore again.

That’s so smart how you do the cheat meal. When the oldest kids were here for the summer there were a few cheat meals and all but 1 stay at least gluten free but that last one at the Cuban restaurant in Miami was not worth it. One empanada and one very small piece of Cuban bread and within 30 min I had an itchy face rash and felt so bad for 2 days. No wheat for me going forward for sure

I eat carnivore most of the month, except end month when I visit mom and she cooks all African delicacies for me. Most of it is healthy though as it's different types of vegetables, sweet potatoes, arrow roots and the like.

I usually do 12 hours on high and then 12 hours on low and then I put it to stay warm and have a bowl or two and then I package it up and put it in the fridge😀 I’m cooking like 5 pounds of chuck roast at a time

For her cheat meal is normalne healthy diet... Well she just definitive having a serious eating disorder and need help...
Any inflammation or flare ups from the veg? I am currently on day 4 of carnivore per ken berry style in order to do an elimination diet/reset and i look forward to trying veggies one by one to see what works and what doesnt.

I have found what I have to say and if things will be done depends highly on the store. I can get an iced coffee no classic with a splash of cream blended at one store while another one refuses to do it saying it wouldn’t turn out right.
I am deeply appreciative for ur video but please don’t confuse people about diet, the diet u have shown is keto not carnivorous, vegetables not included in carnivorous, but u said u cheated so may I wrong. But what u showed here fully respectful diet and everybody on this earth shouls follow. Thank you

You can always take magnesium to get it going.

Hello! Yes, supplementation is necessary with some diets. I have a full bloodwork video coming in a few weeks where I tested all of my vitamins and minerals after six months on the carnivore diet and I think you may be interested in the results😀😀😀
@@JennyMitich I wasn’t trying to say the supplements and vitamins don’t work. They do, they replace what you’re not eating. All vitamins, minerals can be found in things we consume. Since you only consume meats then you need to use supplements. Same for some other diets as well. Not a dig, just a point to eating all meat is all you need for a balance diet.

Hello! I dont think supplements are bad. I like to keep my vitamin D levels high, so I supplement, especially in the winter.
@@JennyMitich oh, yeah vitamin D is ok, particularly if you live somewhere with less sun in the winter, it looked like more than that though
@@georgemoonman2830 D3 and K2, and I think in this video, which was from last summer, I was taking biotin supplements, but I only took those for a couple of weeks, because they are mostly a waste of money. Currently, I take D3 and K2. Our winters are pretty brutal here in Chicago😀😀

Carnivore diet doesn't include a cheat meal. You are doing a Keto Diet.
I follow the carnivore diet regularly. We do a keto cheat meal once or twice a month.
every diet includes a cheat meal....and if you stick with the program it won't do any harm.....relax
carinvore is a diet and not everyone chooses to make it a lifestyle because they're trying to get rid of health issues.

Hello! Maybe for some people, it’s definitely sustainable for the long term. I am currently at seven months and doing great! I like to have a keto cheat meal once a month where I have a salad and vegetables so I think that helps make it sustainable for me😀😀😀
