    Started on carnivore in past 2 weeks. Never have felt so satiated after a meal in my life. I’m 65. I am struggling to eat even a 2nd meal each day. Planning to lose 10Kg of belly fat!

      Have you tried one meal a day then? Some carnivore doctors say eat til you are satiated, then wait til you are hungry again. If you struggle to eat that second meal, then you may not be waiting til you are hungry again. Just saying.

      Hello! That’s OK, in the very beginning it’s going to be hard to eat a lot of food, that’s completely normal. That evens out after about 4 to 6 weeks. And you may be one of those people that just eats one meal per day. I do very well with two😀

    That's honestly not more than 1500-1600kcal. If all those meals had sides to them it would be so so much more.
    This is really the magic of keto/ carnivore diets that lets people lose weight on them. You eat the highest calorie foods but cut everything you normally eat around them so the calories don't stack. Another thing is cutting out snacking which is a reason most people get fat in the first place.

    • @JennyMitich
      @JennyMitich  6 месяцев назад +3

      I typically eat anywhere between 1500 to 2500 cal per day, it’s different every day. I just let my hunger guide me. I agree with you about snacking, there is no need to snack👍🏻👍🏻

      I've been on Ketovore for almost 11 months, and let me tell you, for the first six-eight months my appetite was very bad. I could fast without getting hungry for 24 hours or more, my metabolism was so slow. It did get better. Now I eat two or three times a day. I can fast, but I do get hungry. It will get better. Let your body heal first. I still doubt that I manage to eat all protein and fat I need for one day, but I am much closer to that goal.

      So I eat a lot of pork. It's not considered as healthy as beef but it tends to be cheaper. Ribs are cheaper both pork And beef than other cuts of meat and have lots of fat on them. Get a chuck roast and you can cut it like a steak and make a bunch and that's cheaper. If you have any discount groceries shop there for frozen meat. Sardines are great throw some hot sauce on em and eggs are cheaper too. You gotta do the kind of meat that works for your budget. Ground beef can be cheaper too it all just depends you don't gotta do ribeye and crap

      Hello! There are so many ways you can do carnivore on a budget. One of my favorite techniques is to go to the grocery store early in the morning and get the meat that is marked down because it has to be sold by that day. I save up to 50% on really good cuts of beef, pork, chicken, etc. Also, you can do carnivore with ground beef, chicken, pork, eggs, and butter. We are actually saving money on our grocery bill on the carnivore diet.

      You can buy rolls of burger in bulk, eggs, and butter. When you don't have to buy all the chips, snacks, breads, and side dishes for the meals you are actually saving Alot of money. I eat cheese with my carnivore meals but you don't have too if it's not in the budget..I make burger patties every night for my dinner.

    I'm very proud of you. I too have success on the carnivore diet. I don't want to say anything negative, but you should not be eating the processed meats! No bacon! No hot dogs! Full of nitrates and other preservatives that, even though you might lose weight (mainly because you eliminated all processed foods) you are not going to reap anywhere near the full benefits as far as mental health / autoimmune/skin disorders / gut health etc etc. You must eliminate all that processed meat

    • @JennyMitich

      Just eat a well balanced whole foods diet. It's a lot more practical and healthier for you in the end. These diet trends are the worst. They're not sustainable and can be harmful if done incorrectly. I would get your blood work checked regularly If you decided to consume that much red meat and processed meat.
