idk why but it feels like sitting with my dad again as he helps me take apart my toys and put it back together. Wish we still did that.

The CPU isn't integrated "into" the DDR-chip. It's a POP (Package on Package) arrangement where two BGA chips sits on top of each other.

well crafted dissection provides excellent insight. May be small session on functionality would have made this video "COMPLETE". Liked it.

have you managed to assemble it back to original shape? :)
if not, are you selling the battery module separate? (I need it for my google glass because that was smashed in 4 pieces..)

Great video! Very informative! Also it must have been an expensive video to make since the google glass costs 1500 a pair! Thanks again for the video,

I would love to see a Google glass with a full eyepiece. Maybe you could magnify the small screen with a series of lenses to fill a larger prism.

    • @MartinSmithInterfaces

Myself and my company are working on something just like that. Augmented Reality isn't going to have the traction of Virtual Reality until we can get full field of view displays. You can see that the google glass uses a prism. The glass prism is effectively simply 2 halfs of a cube, and where the two internal faces meet causes a refraction surfaces providing enough optical interference to refract the micro displays image. The idea is that the prism can be scaled proportionally to the display. There are micro LCD displays that are marginally two to four times larger than the one on google glass. So using a display of that size coupled with a larger prism cross section and boom, full field of vision heads up display!
...just gotta work on the Adam Jensen, Deus Ex style flick out glasses!
