A review that isn't just reading out the facts? Yes please.
Another stella video lads, looks like a great value entry level bike! Love the roads on Tenerife 🔥
Love me bikes too @joeachilles ! Thinking of getting this one !
Waited on watching the other reviews, so I could catch it from the lovely bois as always
Thanks for the review. Always look forward to 44 Teeth’s opinions!
The triple noise is beautiful as ever!
That sound never gets boring
No need for after market exhausts?
@@siklomotovlog5256 akra puts it over the top 🤌
Boy I was waiting for this review! Good times!
The best review so far, good to see you saving on front tyre wear👍👍
I think everyone was looking at Vanessa at the start, I even couldn’t hear you Al 😂😂😂😂
😂 Same here.
Me three
👍😎
+1
Took my attention away from the 660
Me too!
YESSS been waiting for these boys to drop a review!!!
Glad to see mega stud Al back in the videos! Great content as always cheers!
Epic review, been waiting for it from you. Thanks mate.
Cracking review video, and nice to see you back riding AL after your injury
Statham makes EVERY bike look, and perform outstanding!! Mega review yet again Lads✌🏻
My formative biking years were the early 70s, during which the British bike industry committed suicide and was totally outclassed by the Japanese competition. If someone had told me then that come 2020 Triumph would rise Phoenix-like from the ashes of that industry and produce a middleweight bike that "destroyed the [Japanese] opposition" I would have laughed in his face. Nice one, Triumph.
Enjoyed that sir! Gutted I missed it 😥
Missed you daddy
Thanks for your video! Spectacular that Triumph has decided to make its presentation on the island of Tenerife, as many other brands have already done. Our landscapes and roads, a world reference for the world of motorcycles! Regards! 👍🏻
Very happy to hear it doesn't float your boat as much as the MT. Great review, one of the better ones I've seen from the same launch!!!!!
Great vid. All I could think about was your comment on the Rocket 3 launch up Mount Teidi, "come off here Nige and it's a pint of death!" Still makes me chuckle! "Would you like a pint of death?" has made it into our family vocabulary.
White trainers and black socks? Fashion faux pas? C'mon man!! ....great vid by the way - best I've seen yet....
TMF Approves 👍
😂 Thanks TMF
Common Andy not all the v-loggers are catwalk materiel like yourself
Yay TMF made an appearance!
Good thing Taylor wasn't around to see those.
Top quality as always from 44 teeth. Nice to see you introduce the lovely Vanessa, she didnt return the favour for you when you wandered into shot on her review video :D
I think I've watched the videos from all the riders in that launch in Tenerife but this is the most enjoyable yet. Those random clips of wheelies had me cracking xD
Love the review! Great advertisement for both the entry level triple and Tenerife!
I got to review a 765 moto 2 finally and loved it, this bike seems awesome. The new thruxton also seems great. Triumph is such a solid brand! Great review man, and thanks for keeping your expectations of this bike on down to earth.
Great vid! That dash looks awesome👌
been to Tenerife loads of times, never thought to hire a bike and scoot about the Island...maybe next time, thanks for the vid guys appreciated
All ways love your content thank you for this one mate. God bless you all
I gotta say, I've been looking for a mid range bike for a long time and the Trident 660 amazes me! Definitely pick one up in 2021!
Nice vid as usual. Lets hope Triumph have addressed their quality issues. As much as I want to love this bike, I got rid of my Tiger as the electrical issues and reliability issues were just unacceptable. The trident looks awesome and sounds it.
Thanks for all the close ups of the ‘clocks Al, nice clear images. Good work. 😉👍👍👍 awesome review as ever. Yes, that is my real name, I got away easy, my brother Isaac can’t say the same. 😉👍
Great review as always!
It pleases me to know that whether it’s a V2 at ‘Hereth’ or a big boy beginner bike in the Canaries, the omnipresent Nige is always keeping an eye on our Fagan. Excellent enjoyable review 👍👍👍👍
30 seconds in and you pop a wheelie! Thanks, I knew I subbed to the right channel.
Watched a couple trident reviews today, not one of them did what I wanted to see. A fucking wheelie! ❤️
Husqvarna if you're watching this that's the dash you should've put on the Vitpilen 701.
I'll save this video for later, but I'll thumb it up now because I already know it's going to be super!
Honestly the best review out there for what this bike is and how it is supposed to he ridden... not purring at 3k rpm, giving it throttle and saying that it doesnt move... i am actually considering getting one of those coming from a CBR600rr... this bike seems great to be ridden on the stopper for the first 3-4 gears and have a lot of good time; and for when want to be chill, seems like a super smooth ride
You had me at...you can turn traction control off, if you want to pull a few moves......excellent!!! Great review!
Dude you just earned Legendary status for saying teckers. I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE FOR SO MANY YEARS!!!!!!!! Keep the teckers going you teckers bred bin I love you
Brilliant review!!!
This does look good! An mt07 with upgraded suspension, brake lines, exhaust and slipper clutch is also mega fun and mega capable, and still cheap.
Thanks for your input Mike Hunt
Sure thing... 😉😀👍
Great review of a beautifully styled 'budget' bike. Triumph has proven that it doesn't cost any more to make an aesthetically pleasing motorcycle rather than typically 'fugly' styling when it comes to reasonably priced bikes. Bravo.
The fact that the word "budget" is the most mentioned, is not very motivating.
Excellent review...really informative and honest.
Great review as always. Feeling confident that I made a good choice putting down a deposit on one of these. Cheers Nige
Congrats Nige. I mean, Colin
14:50 Not a bad wheelie considering you did it in neutral 😂
Ooer! What happened there? Good catch.
@@Desmo904 Might be a software based gear indicator that relies on data from both front and rear ABS ring sensors.
Proper skills 😂
lol ... good catch
Cracking review as always! If I had the cash, can't help but feel the Trident would make a great second bike for a bit of relaxed weekend fun??
“Tickles my todger” - thought I was the only person to use that phrase. Nice use of the word “guff” too
stellar job lads, as always.
One thing tho: the youtube compression on the onboards is doing my head in! something you guys can change in your export?
Lovely looking bike! I know people like the twin headlights of the triple, but that headlight 😍
Great video guys. Fun little bike 👌🙏🇦🇺
"Never Trust a fart on a bike" might be my favorite quote of the year. Cheers for the good times!
Great review and you didn't crash Al!
Missed you guys
Great vid boys I love the Trident. Would love to know how Triumph got 2 British made and UK registered bikes to Tenerife ?
yeah you know like you guys i have ridden your 1000cc GSXRs and ZX10Rs , at the moment im riding a more modest but fun SV650s, am quite keen to have a go on the Triumph, might even purchase one later on
Nice work, tempted after a long old break from biking. Might I suggest an outro for your videos, they end a bit sudden like!
This bike isn't my cup of tea, but I'm so happy that it exists. The world needs more Triumphs, and I've been wanting them to expand their range for a while now.
Husquverna has pure magic in their steering feel 701-SM was PHENOMENAL
I live in the USA and can't wait to see it in person and might be get it
“Hey Taylor, how’s your boots working out?”😂
Good job, Triumph. But as you said: Mt07-concept just brightens up the darkest day everytime...thats why i love my xsr700 with upgraded Wilbers suspension and a lovely zard can (stock susp.+can is just sh**)...should we ever get parted, this one would be an interesting option though. I like the quality feeling Triumphs bring.
More Vanessa.sign her up 🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲🇮🇲
Nice vid guys . Cheers.
Great roads in Tenerife, I’m liking the look of the trident, I think triumph will sell loads of them
Ripping on the dudes boots over pants was hilarious brof
Nice to see more options for next gen of bike riders and mebs easier to handle for us nearly out going gen😉👌cheers from dave
Shooting super sharp shots
Brilliant vid and bike…..looks top quality 👌🏻
Nige, I understand your review. In 2009 I traded my ZX-6R for something more sensible. A new Street Triple, I failed, it is a hoot, still got it now (now that is a testament to the original bike) I paid around € 8k back then, that makes the Trident a bargain. Street Triple has got more expensive & complicated, Trident is a great entry performance mid size bike.
Does exactly what it’s sapposed to do, looks and sounds good for a very reasonable price so it’s a big 👍🏻 from me. 🏍💨💨
After 3 yrs from this video, still MT07 is the top seller between the bikes you named I believe.
Tnx for video
Been looking forward to the 44teeth review!
Pleeeeease set up a post COVID 44teeth bike meet!
It's high on the list of priorities!
@@FortyFourTeeth Great stuff. ps But whatever you think as being 'big enough': go bigger! 👍
I think if this was around few years back when I had an MT07, it would have been a tough choice to pick as it's looks great
The best looking bike I've seen in a long time , stock from the showroom
Whaaaat?
@@michaelhayward7572 yeah
@@chris5k132 noooo.
Yeah, nah! I’m not having that mate.
The shape of the tank is pretty iffy to me...but even more than that, only offering it with a giant Triumph logo graphic seems silly. I might be able to overlook it if I really wanted the bike, but man...
Ha Ha Vanessa your new presenter on 44 Teeth , my new screen saver
Was looking at getting a used 675R as an upgrade from my DRZ400SM... But long term triumph reliability seems very mixed online... Now I'm eyeing a GSX-S 750
You won't regret it - they never get mentioned in this category but are more powerful than most of the mid range bikes and can get a 2015-16 750 for 4000-4500 dollars. Suzukis are screaming deals.
Nice one Nige 👍
As what you said, it isnt for everyone and you should set your expectations for yourself that it isnt a "fun fun" bike like the yamaha and hondas but it is a proper big bike. It would be a matter of preferrence, I love it, not too torquey not too fast. just right for an everyday commuter or weekend bike. Great job on the vid most of my concerns for it had been answered.
Best review among all.
I want that gauge cluster on the Vitpilen 701.
Things from the Vitpilen I want on this bike, adjustable suspension, quick shifter, style, weight.
Throw some aftermarket performance parts on that and any rider would be happy to commute on it or use it in the twisties.
Good entry level Triumph!
"Hey taylor! How your boots working out?" 😂😂
AAAAAAAAahhh, a nice cuppa 44Teeth video! When are you guys upgrading to 4k cameras? ;)
The only 660 review that matters
Great vid
You may have mentioned it and I missed it, but it comes stock with Michelin Road 5's right? That's pretty impressive since a lot of bikes come stock with less than great tires and my personal experience with Road 5's has been positive so far.
Best bike content around 🤜🏼🔥🤛🏼
That’s the road to Los Gigantes if you go west :)
A guy who does microlites is right near there
Great review, thanks guys. I don’t suppose anybody has any idea when/if the new Speed Triple will be announced/released?!?
End of January
Do you think trident is also good for cruising? My dad has T120 and I am considering either getting the Street Scrambler or the Trident. Can't really decide. I do love the big classic feel of the Scrambler but I do love the price and the look of this Trident. Definitely a better choice than XSR700 in my opinion.
I live in florida and the streets are mostly straight and barely any curvy roads. Idk if the Trident would be a good choice for just straight road cruising.
Would you rather have this or an Aprilia Shiver 900 as a daily rider, doubling as weekend fun?
I hope Triumph brings back something for touring (besides the Tiger800). Like the Sprint. Take something like this or the new 765 and put some hard luggage and fairings.
gj Nige! We are Kawasaki green with envy here in Europe cos of the poop level weather :/
Great vid lads. This or GSX-S750?
I think this bike is what would happen if a Street Triple 660 and a Street Twin got together and had a "love child" bike
It has elements of "retro" Triumph. Slightly rounded tank, single round headlight, round clock (but digital !), mixed in with lots of Street Triple.
Only thing I would say, it looks like it could do with bar end mirrors :)
Triumph are going to sell a lot of them.
Bro I have seen rust on my 250 Duke exhaust....but my motorcycle is just 3 months old.....should i go ahead with getting it cleaned or can i claim warranty and get the ben pipe replaced? is that even possible or will my warranty claim be rejected? please let me know....it is only after your advice will I call up the service center to have a word....is this rust? and does this mean an impending quality/longevity issue on my bike? please please advice....it's not dirt or grime...it feels like rust only...powdery and brown.
Who ever does your music mixes is dope! Every video has the most banging tunes from every different genres.
Is it Al? I know he said he was a DJ back in the day.
I edit all the videos and choose the music from various sources 👍🏼
@@FortyFourTeeth I meaning Al right? Chris seems like more of a Cold Play guy.
Great work, keep it up! I always get excited anytime I see a new post from you guys. Definitely my favorite RUclips channel.
@@FortyFourTeeth Edits & rides. Damn I hate multi-talented people.
I wonder if you can tune this to be more like the speed triple.. but with better ergos.
Could you make a video about the Suter MMX 500 please
Modern day Suzuki 600 Bandit, cheap, fun and cheeky..... Oh wait that Vanessa was the cheeky one ! :o) Best review of the 660 Nige so well done.
Be cool if T MAC could feature on some super bike track action 🔥
