    This is a very raw first reaction, which often turn out to be wrong....but this bike is completely meaningless to 99% of riders, IMO. Couldn't care less about 4% faster or more efficient, its about how it makes you feel and looks are a BIG part of that. Too much science not enough art. Maybe I'm alone in this but i just think this is a pointless bike. Appreciate the review though i'm not knocking you at all, you're just reporting on what you see. No ducati will ever top the 1198 in terms of sheer beauty

    • @reddingsantos1026
      @reddingsantos1026 2 месяца назад

      I was just wondering the same... The 1298 is basically the same in terms of design so not much to say... By bringing projectors back to the 2018 V4's headlights, even though it looked good, the order immediately looked reversed with the 1199 looking more modern than the V4. And this latest iteration, even though not being so bad, is it, for me, a very poor design when considering where Ducati already was with the 1199! And where it is now...
      (edit) Sorry, was thinking about the 1199 Panigale. Anyway, the 1198 looks better than this new bike anyway... at least for me. I think the design language peaked with the 1199 Panigale... The aero on subsequent models kept some of the bikes more modern but at times it was a little too much... And this new bike follows exactly on the "too much" aero part.
