When I first found her channel, I thought she was 30 something. I followed because I thought “older sister!!” Then one day she was like “I’m 24” I was “uh… girl, why does my old ass look younger than you?? 😩” but without makeup she looks her age. I don’t get why she would prefer looking much older but she been doing it for years.
I have cadaver tissue in my mouth too. A bone graft was used to help replace a tooth that died and ate itself (braces put on too tight bored a hole in my tooth and it was gonna rot into my jaw). ANYWAY it’s not GROSS that someone donated their body and that part of it was used in my mouth. It’s amazing and I’m GRATEFUL to the cadaver and person who donated their body. How amazing that I may recover and have a healthy mouth and body in part because of someone else I’ve never met. Can she not? Like it’s a sterile medical environment there’s nothing gross about it

I have cadaver bone in my leg after I was in a horrible accident. Someone donating their body is the reason I can walk today. I’m so thankful to them for that gift. I think it’s one of the most beautiful things you can do for someone else.

I wonder if the reason why Christians who are so concerned about sex are so obsessed with it is because it's something forbidden to them. I'm taking a research methods course in psychology at the moment and I remember reading in my textbook last night that there's research out there to suggest that trying to suppress thoughts can actually increase our obsession with them.

I am not a Christian and have no desire to convert but most Christianty comes off as proselytizing or following religious dogma. The other thing I wanna point out about it getting married fast is you should definitely be asking about what happens if you become disabled. I have one friend who got married after 6 months and at 30 she developed a rare type of MS that causes lesions in her brain and she started having seizures, lost her speech and became a wheelchair user. Seven years ago when that happened her husband put her in a nursing home and she will be there until she dies. He also refused all assistance for communication apps and talks about her like she’s dead because the thing he valued most about her was her intelligence and she can’t express that now. Before you get married you need to know what will happen to you if you get in a car accident or become disabled because nobody wants to spend 30 to 50yrs institutionalized.
I also got married very young and have now been married 13yrs and I tell people just don’t do it. I love my husband but you don’t know yourself even if you think you do when you’re that young and growing up together sounds romantic but it would be easier and healthier to each grow and know yourselves before getting married.
I had a friend that developed MS, she had a kid with her boyfriend and he wound up murdering her and their son. This is so much more common than anyone wants to admit, and being a Christian doesn’t change much

As a newly widowed mother of 3. And experiencing how short life can be taken away, in my life I choose to live instead of choosing to have all the stops and lines not to cross. I F all the people I want or dont want (safely ovcourse) and I say all the things I want to say to whom I want to say it to because as stated life isn't promised tomorrow. I will never again live my life with all these rules. Ovcourse I have morals and ethics but for the most part. I choose to live.
This is a really beautiful lesson to share 💛 we all have our own moral compass but that doesn’t mean we need to constantly shame or police ourselves, life is too short not to make the most of it. Wishing you and your children so much peace and healing!

I’ve noticed that with her content she puts “purity”above all else, and it feels very toxic. It’s a topic of every conversation she has, every Q&A that she has and it’s exhausting. I’m not religious in anyway but I grew up Catholic, and from my experience there is a lot more to religion, and to people practicing within a religion then purity culture. It doesn’t seem healthy to me to have people focus all of their energy on purity when there are so many more life lessons within Christianity that can be told in a non-toxic way.

Not saying that everyone who is religious is like this. I still believe in God but not religion. I have very religious family members and I can still respect their beliefs
I used to hold myself to the standard of only holding out for dating someone who loves Jesus. I went out on three dates with a guy who doesn’t identify as a Christian, and he’s shown so many Christlike qualities than any of the men I’ve dated before. We’ve been boyfriend/girlfriend for nearly six months, and it’s been fantastic!! I’m not going to try and “save him”, and he respects my beliefs and relationship with God.

I get this to an extent. I'm divorced and now remarried. I can look back and point out what led to my divorce and what unhealthy patterns we were stuck in and couldn't get out of.
I came upon your channel not to long ago and have really enjoyed your videos. I was very touched by the Bible verses you shared today. I was raised Catholic, and although I do not practice or believe and practice Buddhism, I loved how the verses you read were not pertaining to any one religion but life lessons in general. I really enjoyed how I was able to find a commonality between your beliefs and mine even though the structure under which we practice looks very different. I thought that was very beautiful and look forward to hearing more verses and finding more commonalities 🙂

On the dating - marriage timeline: I totally agree. Timing depends on the person and maturity, it’s not one size fits all. I married my husband literally 6 months after we met. Sounds crazy. I would have totally judged me. People did.
But, to your point, I had had 2 prior engagements, both of which I ended, because I was extremely deliberate about what I wanted and when - and neither of those was it (first one, awesome guy, but I finally decided I was too young in my mind, I was 21. I didn’t want to settle down yet. Second one - he was NOT it, he was not ok, it just took me awhile to see it; I also was having fun, but I finally walked away.)
I met my husband during a time I wasn’t looking, right after the end of my last relationship…and then we both knew. Even before we really were “dating”, we just kinda knew that’s where we were headed. I’m not even sure we really “dated” - we were best friends who knew the other one wasn’t going anywhere. The military threw the “if we know, we should do it now, deployment” wrench into it, sure. But it was everything I didn’t think I’d ever do - marry so quickly, elope on his lunch break, be super practical about everything. We are celebrating 10 years next week.
If I had done that at 22, would have been a disaster. But, we both had the experiences that made it clear what we wanted and didn’t. Were there some growing pains from not fully knowing each other as well that we had to deal with? Absolutely. Not fun at times. But we also knew that going in, and worked through because of the end goal was a good marriage - to each other.
Anywho - yep, every relationship is different - and maturity or experience definitely plays into how long you need to figure it out!

I think sex before marriage is a requirement. You learn a lot about someone when you have sex with them. Men might be too rough, a partner might not prioritize your pleasure, they might have awful after care. I’d argue it is one of the most important things you need to know about your partner before you marry them.
I will never not laugh at someone who has been married twice, with one marriage that failed in a very short amount of time and has been married for 5 minutes the 2nd time and together like less than 2 years all together, giving relationship advise! I also cringe every time I hear a Christian talk about knowing he's the one because he's a Christian and has a walk with Jesus. Those things aren't going to sustain a marriage period! I was with my ex for 15 years and it was at least 5 years too long. We were very young when we met and in reality already completely incompatible then and as we got older we just got more and more incompatible. But in church the narrative pushed(at least in the church we attended) was that you could over come being incompatible and it wasn't a big deal and that God could walk you through it all. So we kept trying to make things work when they clearly just didn't. It was flipping miserable in every way! You both being a Christian is not the important thing to a relationship and I'd love to see churches stop pushing the idea that it is. Of course I'd also love to see them stop pushing relationships and marriages ending as the end of the world. I'm an Athiest now, so it doesn't really effect me but I know first hand the damage that message causes.

The way she spoke of her “severe” concussion, was very curious. I had a moderate concussion and it was a life changing event.
Just say you fell cause you didn’t eat enough, and want to eat meat again. Not dramatize a head injury.
I got a concussion from someone’s boot/foot hitting me on the head when I was at a Green Day concert in 2005. I got a goose egg bump on my head, went to the ER and they told me that if I were to throw up or do any other things that were related to a concussion that I had to go to the ER right away. Two days later as I was getting ready for school I threw up and had to go to the ER and sure enough I had a concussion.
Basically, anytime I tell someone that I had a concussion, and I tell them how it happened, they laugh or are in disbelief that that happened and ask me how that could happen which how am I supposed to explain when I didn’t see it happen to me since I was so engroed in the concert. It’s a bit humiliating but at least I’m being honest.

Well gee Britt, I wonder why women might be scared to talk to their husband about certain behaviors. Maybe they've given her a reason to be scared, maybe they have set a boundary where you aren't allowed to, or maybe they've been told you have to 100% submit to your husband and have to follow his will because he will always be closer to God than you. Maybe we should not give blanket statements about things that could get women into dangerous situations.
I am not even joking or being mean but she reminds me so so soooooo much of this guy I spent a week with in the mental hospital. He’s got several illnesses but one of them keeps him in this very intense religious state of mind. Like it legit consumed every single sentence and conversation he had. He would interrupt group time with his religious talk. He was super super super happy about the lord like this. She is like the female version of him. Spooky.

That's a REALLY nice way of saying what I was thinking. That shade of lipstick is not flattering & with her coloring, she has many choices that would be. I'm not sure why she would choose that. However, she seems to make a whole host of questionable choices so there's that.

Am I the only one that felt like this Q&A was just... Empty? Listen, I'm not a religious person, and I could've answered every single one of those things like she did... To every single question the answer was "be with the lord", "it'll be whatever god's will be", "the lord this", "the lord that", "it's not in the bible so... I dunno I guess it's fine".
It's just EMPTY. B, I hear you talk about this stuff and it actually makes me want to read the bible... I'm still not a religious person and don't think I will be, but it's just that interesting hearing you talk about it.

Who is she that people are asking her such questions? She's not a therapist, marriage counselor, minister or priest or whatever religious leader. Ministry?! She's certainly is not a beauty or guru or expert. It's uncomfortable & cringy to watch & I certainly wouldn't be watching by myself. I'm fairly certain she makes up the majority of her questions. Kind of like the "everyone is asking what tanner/lashes/facial treatments etc" questions she posts on her stories and they are affiliate links she doesn't disclose. You had a lot of valid points and responses to her answers. I feel like you have an issue that I have. I have trouble with letting my dislike for someone take over to the point that I nit-pick everything they do/say. I have to constantly remind myself that ppl I greatly dislike (Nancy Pelosi) deserve the same grace that I give to those I do like. In other words don’t let your dislike for her take over and skew your judgment. We all make mistakes or word things badly sometimes. 😊
