I have circled this game for years! I've watched playthroughs, reviews, I've even had the first 2 core sets in my hands at my FLGS. I commented on another of your recent videos that I'm learning I prefer "emergent" storytelling over scripted campaigns and this game seems to fit that category perfectly. This seems like a giant, ever-expandable, sandbox. And that sounds great. But it's the minis, always the minis, that keep me from pulling the trigger! Originally, it was the need to assemble them - but I've now watched and read enough to know these aren't difficult. I'm not a painter but playing with unpainted minis wouldn't bother me. Now, it's more a matter of storage that's holding me back. I picture plastic tubs full of minis everywhere! But my resistance is weakening... These "deep dive" series have been great to watch! But don't you have another Stephen King book to review? :)
It really is an ultimate sandbox campaign game. And yes - I'm actually two King books behind. I need to make reviews for The Wastelands and Wizard and Glass. :)
Thanks for all your great Shadows of Brimstone videos. While you were on page 2 you said there was no contents listed, they are listed on the bottom left hand corner of page 2
can you do a video on storage? where to get the storage bins and the card organizers that stand up and everything, not sure where to get them and the dimensions needed for this game with sleeved cards?
Great Deep Dive Series on SoB. My most loved Pulp Adventure Game. It is really a Hobby Game, you can get lost in collecting, painting, modifying. I wouldn't call it a board game, because of it's big scope.
Im going to try and use one of my favourite Mine scenarios, but instead of using typical mine tiles, I will use the Caverns of Cinder tiles instead, as well as using all the Cinder rules. Just to change it up
This is awesome! It brings me back to the floor plans like "Halls of Horror" that we bought back in the 80s for games like Call of Cthulu. We would have killed for a board like this for the old TSR "Boot Hill" game. Since I'm crazy like that, would it be practical to check out townie/civilian miniatures?
Hello again! Do you know, if flying frog production will reprint this expansion (frontier town) in the next months? It’s really dry in Germany and Austria, and when you find one, the price is a joke…kind regards

One of the best SOB expansions out there, no doubt. The amount of new content is astonishing.
It's one of the all-time great board game expansions.
Just bought this after your recommendation! Thanks for the video.
Hope you enjoy it!
This is a great series! Thank you for such an in-depth look.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I recently acquired this expansion. Looking forward to bring it to the table :) There is a lot of new token types that I'll have to organise somehow.
This is the best expansion for Shadows hands down. This is a must buy if you enjoy the game. Would never play without it.
Agree. Can't wait for the Feudal Village!
Watched your Silver Tower video and bought the game. Looks cool.
It’s great. I love it.
Dang, that looks so cool. I love travel and towns in games.
So do I. I love games that have things to do between the main quests.
Thanks for all your great Shadows of Brimstone videos.

Cool. Thanks for the correction.

Yes.
@@TheDungeonDive Thanks so much!!!

Sure is. A total hobby game.

that should totally work. Which mine scenario?
Any of the basic mine missions, except mission 1. I didn't like that one

Frontier Town and the Mission Packs are imo the best expansions for SoB.
I would love to know which laminator you use. I have tried two different brands, and my sheets always come out with a slight bend or warp.
There is a video in the SOB playlist that shows it.
@@TheDungeonDive thanks. Working my way through the playlist. Excellent stuff as always.
Have noticed your cardstock boards are laminated. Do you do that yourself?
If so, let me know if you recommend a machine.
Yes. I laminate. I just have a cheap Swingline machine. It was like $30. I use 3mm or 5mm pouches.
Thanks!

No idea. I don’t have any insider / industry information at all.
@@TheDungeonDive ok thanks I ordered it anyway! Iam living in your content now XD
How long can you stay in town?
You don't want to stay too long, because then you'll start rolling on the super bad town chart.
Can this be use with the forbidden fortress core set?
Just wait. The Feudal Village expansion is shipping soon.
Isn't the Devil's Wheel WAY more unbalancing than Poker...?!
Probably. But I don't really know how to calculate balance.
Out of interest, what benefits does your Patreon offer? :)
Periodic giveaways, live chats, blog posts and I ask for input. It’s mainly just to keep the channel 100% ad free and no paid KS previews.
@@TheDungeonDive thanks! Ill look into it and check it out next month :)
