What I really loved about the Christmas house was the U or L shaped kitchen in the front instead of the middle of the room and I also liked the stairs in the back. This one looks huge and beautiful, but I will always be partial to an L or U shaped kitchen. This is a great deal. Very pretty!

How does this work for a disabled person, 1 bedroom needs to be on first level and all that loft storage would have to be accessed by someone else for disabled person so you'd always need someone else to help and that's not always doable for every disabled person situation.
@@PoM-MoM I use a walker and had my tiny house built specifically for me. My bedroom is on the main floor and I have a small loft fir my grandkids and guests. The steps are very easy for me to manage easily.

I also see room to put a 16"×18" drop down table or extra countertop on a hinge, on the kitchen side of the stairs, just to the left of the last kitchen-facing storage compartment. The other thing I'd ask for, if I had them build one of these for me, is to move the shower next to the existing washer/dryer hookups, then put the toilet next to the closet, so I could have them lower the ceiling on that side of the bathroom about 8"... giving me more headroom at the top of the stairs, next to my bed. I'd also then have them add a small 2nd closet with a couple of drawers at the bottom, next to the bed, at the head of that lowered floor space, in that right corner facing the stairs. The older I get, the more I appreciate not having to bend over as much to get into and out of bed. 😉

I like this home alot. What I don't see is, homes that can be off grid---with solar on the roof, etc. That is what I want. Live off grid with my own electricity, composting toilet, and be able to stand up in the loft bedroom. Can't crawl.

I have this design that I can’t get out of my head! This one comes close! I would make the front area under the loft an office, put the couch across from the front door, move the sink/counter/range over a bit, and fridge under the stairs. then I want the back to have a long, thin bathroom in one side and the bedroom on the other side! I think I need it to be 10 feet wide by 30 in order to do that! Love ur work! Thank u for inspiring me!!!

L shape Kitchen at opposite of bathroom. Bathroom I ditch shower insert clawfoot tub 😉 And a custom made, hooman mesh, which links both loft. Mesh area will be full of different size pillows/ stuffing. Primary lounge area + game room. Ditch the ladder.

I would want those stairs to open on a hinge on that bottom portion for extra storage in the kitchen. Just an idea. All in all it's a cute house.
