Oh the Saints be Praised...the bedroom downstairs...no rickety "ladder" to go up and down from bedroom to bathroom...and no crawling on badly damaged knees into the bedroom and into bed. This is the loveliest "tiny" house arrangement I ever seen...and especially love the screened in porch, practical and free of bugs and mosquitos...and great for indoor plants.
It is almost like a real nice spacious mobile home actually, but the mountain home affect is what really makes it so cozy and rustic, especially that it is set up in a wooded environment like it is, lovely place ~
OMG this is my ideal tiny house. No composting toilet, real furniture (not wood benches with foam rubber cushions) a first floor bedroom. I love log cabins and the coziness of them myself. This place ticks all my boxes. Really love the screened in porch also.

This little house has the prettiest interior I have seen in a while,it is rustic yet polished and cozy .that vanity is one of the biggest i have seen in a bathroom in a tiny home .
The fact that this is a 'community' makes all the sense in the world. I hope more of this trend helps ease a lot of the housing issues we face right now.

This is probably one of the top 5 tiny houses I’ve ever seen…I’d have to have a downstairs bedroom…no loft except for storage except maybe a grandchild to stay over…first one I’ve seen wit an outside doggie area where the dogs can come and go…& it’s beautiful! Love everything about it…outdoor area gorgeous and so is inside…have all you need! And I think these 2 gentlemen would make great neighbors!
Now this to me is the first tiny home I’ve seen and I’ve have watch a lot of these videos and this is absolutely the most perfect home and needs no changes at all.
Now, this is how it’s done! Stunning little home on a lovely wooded lot with everything you could want. I love that all the elements of a home are there and “adult human” sized….. a real bath with a flush toilet, a real bedroom you can stand in and full sized appliances including washer and dryer. If I were to buy a tiny home, this model would be the one🤗🐝❤️

What a great set up! I've watched a lot of tiny home videos, and one of the things most have in common is a very uncomfortable living room. Hard thin couches, straight back chairs etc. This front room looked comfortable and inviting. The whole house was great - especially loved the screened in porch and the dog run. And downstairs bedroom. Perfect!

More than likely it refers to Yogananda's Hermitage in Encinitas, CA. Just putting 2 and 2 together: He said he was monk for about 6 years and that he lived in LA. I'd bet money that he was a monk for SRF: Self-Realization Fellowship. He has a good vibe about him and so does his roommate.

Me too! I hope to find a similar set up in our area. We are retired and have no desire to have a big home and all the headaches that go along with it. The design of this beautiful home is just perfect, a nice size bathroom, no climbing to the bedroom, a screened porch and oh my the scenery!

This is one of the best tiny houses I've ever seen. The wood is so pretty and the overall home is so warm and inviting. One thing I really like is that you have little areas carved out for homes leaving the nature and the trees intact. I wish all home builders would do this. I like the idea of tiny homes so much, but while having a small bedroom and bathroom would not be difficult at all, the clothes storage and especially the kitchen storage/pantry would be hard to do without. In this home that added upstairs room could definitely used for this, so there would be a way around it. I love the added screen porch too. Thank you for sharing your home!
This is one of the nicest tiny homes I've seen. Really like the bedroom on the bottom floor. They've really decorated it very nice. I love the wood counters in the kitchen. Really cool place for the dogs to go outside. The best of all is that fireplace. I would love one of those.

One of the prettiest designs I have ever seen for small tiny house living, this could be a model business production of these rustic models for others to enjoy……..buying little parcels of land in mountainous regions with this type of tiny house…… affordable living and beautiful at the same time….. this would be a perfect alternative to outdoor living outside the city……. Instead of buying a cabin or something more expensive with all the upkeep…….

This is a charming home with fabulous design features. The tall ceilings & downstairs bedroom are practical & inviting. The screened in deck provides a wonderful connection with nature, minus the hassle of bugs. The layout creates an expansive ambiance that appears much grander than a tiny home with a parallel deck. Overall it has all the benefits of a full size house without unnecessary excess space to maintain. It's more like a luxurious cabin than a tiny home & the nicest of any I've seen. I would call the style of this tiny home sophisticated rustic. It's beautiful! The use of the natural-looking wood elements as opposed to just traditional boards makes all the difference.

Love love love the idea of the river rock shower! Do it! I had a river rock floor in a prior home's shower - it was wonderfully therapeutic for the feet! There's just so much to love about this place - the dog patio (you might consider putting a covering on it to keep the dogs safe from hawks and other predators). The screened patio is wonderful. The guys are just such a cute couple and I LOVE Bob's accent (he'd of course say "what accent?") LOL I hope you both have many, many happy years ahead of you in your PERFECT mountain cabin!😘
We are from Huntsville and had a second home in the mountains for years. (Now we’re here full time in a small-but not-tiny cabin.) Our cabin wasn’t quite this small, but not much bigger either. One thing I learned was that storage is the key. This one has plenty of it for it’s size. That’s what makes it work. Good job.
Four years ago we downsized from a 4 bedroom 2 lounge home to a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom. It was so difficult for me because I’m a hoarder because of my childhood, pots and pans being my specialty. Now we want a tiny house. I’m in a much better place and I’m more ready than I’ve ever been. I think the 4 year transition was better for me because it gave me time to reflect and realise how little we actually have used and need.

Absolutely LOVE this!!!!! I just asked hubby "if you had a giant workshop/barn/garage thingy, could you live in a tiny home like this with me?" He just laughed...plantin' seeds...plantin' seeds... I have been thinking about tiny house living for many years now. We actually lived in a 30 ft. camper for several months after our house flooded badly with Hurricane Harvey and we had to remove everything floor to ceiling. I LOVED it! I loved being able to deep clean the entire place in 30 minutes. I loved that it forced me to only have what I loved best. I appreciate this gentleman's wisdom...discover what you are truly passionate about and then bring that into the home with you. Unfortunately, I love all kinds of crafts...which generally take up alot of space. I need to narrow it waaaaay down. Thanks for the great advice...and the lovely house tour!

There nothing I would change except the chandelier and the bath curtain would be a bit more frilly. I would love to use the loft as my studio to paint, craft jewelry and quilt! I want a tiny home! Oh the Saints be Praised...the bedroom downstairs...no rickety "ladder" to go up and down from bedroom to bathroom...and no crawling on badly damaged knees into the bedroom and into bed. This is the loveliest "tiny" house arrangement I ever seen...and especially love the screened in porch, practical and free of bugs and mosquitos...and great for indoor plants.

OMG this is my ideal tiny house. No composting toilet, real furniture (not wood benches with foam rubber cushions) a first floor bedroom. I love log cabins and the coziness of them myself. This place ticks all my boxes. Really love the screened in porch also.

This is probably one of the top 5 tiny houses I’ve ever seen…I’d have to have a downstairs bedroom…no loft except for storage except maybe a grandchild to stay over…first one I’ve seen wit an outside doggie area where the dogs can come and go…& it’s beautiful! Love everything about it…outdoor area gorgeous and so is inside…have all you need! And I think these 2 gentlemen would make great neighbors!
Now this to me is the first tiny home I’ve seen and I’ve have watch a lot of these videos and this is absolutely the most perfect home and needs no changes at all.
Now, this is how it’s done! Stunning little home on a lovely wooded lot with everything you could want. I love that all the elements of a home are there and “adult human” sized….. a real bath with a flush toilet, a real bedroom you can stand in and full sized appliances including washer and dryer. If I were to buy a tiny home, this model would be the one🤗🐝❤️

What a great set up! I've watched a lot of tiny home videos, and one of the things most have in common is a very uncomfortable living room. Hard thin couches, straight back chairs etc. This front room looked comfortable and inviting. The whole house was great - especially loved the screened in porch and the dog run. And downstairs bedroom. Perfect!

The Hermitage. A nod to Thomas Merton? I have visited the “Hermitage” he occupied in his monastic life. What a wonderful home y’all have. I always admire people who can let go of all the accumulation of life, and commit to live simply. Something to aspire to.

More than likely it refers to Yogananda's Hermitage in Encinitas, CA. Just putting 2 and 2 together: He said he was monk for about 6 years and that he lived in LA. I'd bet money that he was a monk for SRF: Self-Realization Fellowship. He has a good vibe about him and so does his roommate.

This is one of the best tiny houses I've ever seen. The wood is so pretty and the overall home is so warm and inviting. One thing I really like is that you have little areas carved out for homes leaving the nature and the trees intact. I wish all home builders would do this. I like the idea of tiny homes so much, but while having a small bedroom and bathroom would not be difficult at all, the clothes storage and especially the kitchen storage/pantry would be hard to do without. In this home that added upstairs room could definitely used for this, so there would be a way around it. I love the added screen porch too. Thank you for sharing your home!

This is one of the nicest tiny homes I've seen. Really like the bedroom on the bottom floor. They've really decorated it very nice. I love the wood counters in the kitchen. Really cool place for the dogs to go outside. The best of all is that fireplace. I would love one of those.

One of the prettiest designs I have ever seen for small tiny house living, this could be a model business production of these rustic models for others to enjoy……..buying little parcels of land in mountainous regions with this type of tiny house…… affordable living and beautiful at the same time….. this would be a perfect alternative to outdoor living outside the city……. Instead of buying a cabin or something more expensive with all the upkeep…….

This is a charming home with fabulous design features. The tall ceilings & downstairs bedroom are practical & inviting. The screened in deck provides a wonderful connection with nature, minus the hassle of bugs. The layout creates an expansive ambiance that appears much grander than a tiny home with a parallel deck. Overall it has all the benefits of a full size house without unnecessary excess space to maintain. It's more like a luxurious cabin than a tiny home & the nicest of any I've seen. I would call the style of this tiny home sophisticated rustic. It's beautiful! The use of the natural-looking wood elements as opposed to just traditional boards makes all the difference.

This is the way to do a tiny house tour, just the owner talking. Obviously not everyone would be as easy going and informative as him, sometimes you need the interviewer to lead. Very well done video and my favorite tiny house so far, just a beautiful setup inside and out.

Love love love the idea of the river rock shower! Do it! I had a river rock floor in a prior home's shower - it was wonderfully therapeutic for the feet! There's just so much to love about this place - the dog patio (you might consider putting a covering on it to keep the dogs safe from hawks and other predators). The screened patio is wonderful. The guys are just such a cute couple and I LOVE Bob's accent (he'd of course say "what accent?") LOL I hope you both have many, many happy years ahead of you in your PERFECT mountain cabin!😘
We are from Huntsville and had a second home in the mountains for years. (Now we’re here full time in a small-but not-tiny cabin.) Our cabin wasn’t quite this small, but not much bigger either. One thing I learned was that storage is the key. This one has plenty of it for it’s size. That’s what makes it work. Good job.
I love the warmth of the cedar. It is a cozy, classy home in the perfect setting. I hope these two are able to enjoy it for many years

Four years ago we downsized from a 4 bedroom 2 lounge home to a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom. It was so difficult for me because I’m a hoarder because of my childhood, pots and pans being my specialty. Now we want a tiny house. I’m in a much better place and I’m more ready than I’ve ever been. I think the 4 year transition was better for me because it gave me time to reflect and realise how little we actually have used and need.

Absolutely LOVE this!!!!! I just asked hubby "if you had a giant workshop/barn/garage thingy, could you live in a tiny home like this with me?" He just laughed...plantin' seeds...plantin' seeds... I have been thinking about tiny house living for many years now. We actually lived in a 30 ft. camper for several months after our house flooded badly with Hurricane Harvey and we had to remove everything floor to ceiling. I LOVED it! I loved being able to deep clean the entire place in 30 minutes. I loved that it forced me to only have what I loved best.
I appreciate this gentleman's wisdom...discover what you are truly passionate about and then bring that into the home with you. Unfortunately, I love all kinds of crafts...which generally take up alot of space. I need to narrow it waaaaay down. Thanks for the great advice...and the lovely house tour!

open shelves in bathroom would give rolled towel space. instead of under the counter, plus you can play with fabrique color for style
I love the live edge counters as well as window "valances" Not crazy about the bathroom open shelves for towel storage, though ("splash" factor), but it works for these guys. You have great taste
That's the first thing I thought of, open shelves, towels.........oh, spritz from flushing, even with the lid closed. But what a wonderful home.

I love this! I'm an author and this would be the perfect setting to write full time. Your cabin is the perfect kind of rustic and the woodworking is gorgeous! There nothing I would change except the chandelier and the bath curtain would be a bit more frilly. I would love to use the loft as my studio to paint, craft jewelry and quilt! I want a tiny home! This is the first one I've seen that encapsulates ALL of my needs perfectly! Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Just wow! Nothing about that says tiny. It’s just so gorgeous! I would love to see the other tiny houses in this community. The commitment to the cabin theme really gives this tiny house character without being tacky. Love the outdoors just as much.
