This guy did a nice job making this a home. Here's what I really like. Not everyone is paired up, there's an audience out there that probably think this is cool but don't consider it because it's always husband and wife. So it's nice to see this option demonstrated for someone who is single.
This gentleman has a great sense of style. His place isn't cluttered as so many others are. All he needs is a front deck to sit outside and socialize with neighbors.
WOW! This setup is perfect! One floor living at it's best! I love the idea of no stairs, letting him have the larger bathroom and an entry closet! I'm thinking this is the model I will get for myself😊
Wow! So tastefully done! He can do a lot of living in that home but he hasn't over crowded it with too many pieces of furniture, etc. It's VERY well organized too. Love it!

Tim you win 1st prize on the nicest Tiny. It is perfect living on one floor - with the loft and additional light for plants and storage! I have one of those ovens too they meet all my needs. I liked your 2 burner stove top too. The closet in the living room makes a big difference, and the large shower YES. It has so much light and you chose great colors. If I could afford it I would have a duplicate for myself. Thanks for sharing.

This is a beautiful home! He's done a fantastic job. I added beautiful custom plantation wood shutters to 10 big windows in my home and paid close to $10K installed, just a couple years back. They aren't cheap at all, but so worth it! They still look brand new! I think I'll do the same when I get my Tiny Home - not as many oversized windows to worry about! Thank you for sharing!

I have a paid-for 1500 SF house in Tennessee, but if I didn't.... I almost want this anyways - no yard to worry about, not much to clean. He did a great job designing this and decorating it. Welcome to Tennessee, Tim!
Much lower utilities! You pay sales tax on the home purchase, and TN has property tax in some counties, based on the sq footage of the home. Check your area to see if there would be any taxes after purchase.
@@swaziswimmer My property tax is $200 a year and utilities vary with the weather but for an all-electric 1500 SF house, heat pump/AC $70 in mild weather, $90 if it gets up in the 90s all day and never more than $200 for heating in the coldest winter. I'm on the Cumberland Plateau and the weather here is quite mild year round. Insurance is about $900 a year which I think is high considering we have little in the way of natural disaster issues. I think our insurance is helping pay for all the hurricane disasters in Florida and the other coastal states.
I really wanted to know how that dining table was torched I can't believe she interrupted him when he was just about to tell us. Next time, I hope they leave her home and only film the homeowner.

I have an older style Breville benchtop oven, i have used it for years. I installed a new kitchen with a Bosch oven integrated, in 2020. I have used the oven once to ensure it worked, then turned it off. The benchtop oven, heats more quickly, is better regulated and can function as a slow cooker. Plenty big enough. I like this little house and could live there comfortably.
I’m surprised that Amanda hasn’t joined the tiny house movement, and moved into the community. She gets so excited at each home that is shown! Being around so many wonderful tiny homes it must be torture not to own one. Can you imagine what it would look like inside? I’m sure it would be stunning! As for this particular home, the clean lines inside, the color choices, and the specialty furniture pieces that make their own statement! The choice to not have the stairs seem to be a good idea to maximize space. To me the bathrooms have always seemed small, and I know you don’t live in the bathroom, but navigating in the shower, not having a full vanity, does make for a sense of loss in the creature comforts. Anyway, the place is lovely, and the choices made to maximize space and functionality is just spot on! Love these tours!❤
Tim said he has a pantry...where? That's the nice thing about the Birmingham. Pantry and Linen Closet. But I love the cottage look of the Charleston. Everything Tim has changed and done has made his Charleston BEAUTIFUL!

Oh my goodness! I am 30 minutes from Dunedin & my daughter & her family have lived there (for the 2nd time) since 2017. When I first saw Tim, I thought to myself, I have seen him before. Not to mention, I would've been very ticked off with her stepping her dirty shoes in my shower! That was very rude, unsanitary and disrespectful.
This is exactly the set up that I want and need. I really hope you all are around in around 9 or 10 years when I retire because I want to move to TN and have a tiny home like this! I will be financially ready to rock and roll and live my good simple life. I'm a bit of a recluse but it will be wonderful to have a nice community as well.

I have a Birmingham with no stairs and no loft. We have a 4ft shower, 4ft bathroom vanity and a larger living room without the stairs. We love it.

Oh my goodness! I am 30 minutes from Dunedin & my daughter & her family have lived there (for the 2nd time) since 2017. When I first saw Tim, I thought to myself, I have seen him before. Now I have to share this video with my daughter because she & her husband know so many people in Dunedin.

@@janisg7409 She didn't need to do a "sales pitch" in this case. Someone posted that Tim is one of their salesmen... he was doing a perfectly good job without all her interruptions.
Not to mention, I would've been very ticked off with her stepping her dirty shoes in my shower! That was very rude, unsanitary and disrespectful.

This is exactly the set up that I want and need. I really hope you all are around in around 9 or 10 years when I retire because I want to move to TN and have a tiny home like this! I will be financially ready to rock and roll and live my good simple life. I'm a bit of a recluse but it will be wonderful to have a nice community as well.
