I find these videos of people renovating these old brick farmhouses fascinating as we don’t have anything like them anywhere near me. It’s also always fascinating to see the different building materials and how things are done in different countries.
Yes, from about min 8 on it gets so sad and depressing to watch. Also all these terrible materials, only toxic waste. And destroying the garden space for a boring stone desert. But at least from the outside the building itself still looks quite nice and has been preserved from collapsing.
The good thing about ruined stone places is the materials are all gathered there. Its a tremendous amount of work to gather stone enuf for a building. Nice flat stones.
