Bro I spent 30 minutes looking for the drive modes on my new 23 and I couldn’t find it. Now I never googled it cause i got busy with other things so I’m very happy you showed it here
That's a crazy rear door feature. I just sold my 2013 stx and got a 22 lariat. I just couldn't handle that rear door anymore. Plus my kids getting bigger need more room. Still kept that long bed though. So far so good. I find that android auto feature handy. I've had mine disconnect twice now, I'll try that trick
that's a beautiful truck!, i have my eyes on one of them here in south florida, but i'm not sure about the extended cabin version, but i would appreciate the extra long bed.
Appreciate the heads up on resetting my CarPlay while driving. Pressing power and forward buttons. I have been guilty like you mention on pulling over or at red light turning off and turning the truck back on. 😬😬
I just got my new 23 f150 a couple days ago. It was actually hard to find since it's the 24 model year and the 23s are drying up. Lots of trucks out the with features I didn't want or colors I didn't like. Turns out it's identical to yours, same package, color, interior.... loving my new truck, all the stuff I wanted with no extra fluff.
Very cool video , didn't know about a few of these features lane assist , that info was super informative , a cool gadget is the tailgate hydraulic assist review that and I may buy one , very good presentation as well KUDOS
Thanks I owned a f150 tremor learned something new. Can you make a video on how to drive on sand dones I have a problem when driving on sand, the truck keeps on getting the 4x4 disabled.
My extended cab door doesn’t open 180°. Is there a lever somewhere and my salesman told me half of the backseat is bolted and won’t come down. This is amazing.
Do you have a video or know how to get 12v power outlet in the bed of the truck? Possibly for a camper hell 3rd light or interior lights of a camper shell etc?
@@federicovega2292 My new 23 Lariat seems to be doing about 20 to 21 average. Did 18 for the first 1000 miles. I did 620 miles on a tank and still had 5 gallons left on the 36 gallon tank. But the fill up hurt. LOL
@@griffinreitz7041 For the the size of the truck I think it not bad at all. I just made a 300+ miles trip today used around 10-11 gallons around $55 😁 I was getting around the same on 22 Tacoma but I forgot the life of me could not love the Tacoma and just purchased F150 Thursday and so far no regrets
I didn't know that my truck has Alexa feature!! 😯Appreciate the heads up on resetting CarPlay even though I use Android Auto which is better 😁while driving.
i got an f150 Limited in March and new nothing about this stuff its my first truck ! I also seen vids about the Super traction sport mode . does that apply to this model and year ? Thanks for the great information
From the infotainment system, go into Settings/Vehicle. Switch off 30min Max Idle. This setting will default back to on after every ignition cycle, so you'll have to remember to turn it off each time you have your pets with you, or purchase a 30min Max Idle Eliminator module to disable the setting permanently.
Good video! Regarding drive modes, it took me a couple of weeks to figure out where the drive modes are located on my 2023 F150…the knob, just like you showed. lol. On my 2018 F150 the modes were not on the knob. Also, in the ‘23 it took forever for me to find the button for the sliding rear window. Gettin’ old, I guess. 😂 Anyway, enjoyed your video.
Lift the seat bottom part way, about 45 degrees. This will cause the seat back to move forward enough for you to reach in deep to the left of the headrest, you'll feel a very small round pin about 8 inches down. Pull up towards the roof. Wiggle the seatback back & forth to make it easier to pull. It's worth the $35 to buy the pull tab mod if you plan on using that space often.
Great video! But gotta be honest i backed into a car in my blind spot with my old ranger wish i had the beeping. Now that i have that its staying on😂😂😂
Saw a young man simply drill a hole in the shaft, install a key ring, and tie a cord to the back of the headrest, to get to the behind the seat storage. Gonna try the Alexa tomorrow. I didn't know about that !
The thing that happens to my 23 f150 is after I have the truck parked, run waiting for the wife could be 15min all the warning light come on , and stay on after I am driving for 5-10 min . How can I change this from happening. Thanks
Sounds like a charging system (alternator) or BMS problem. Try resetting the Battery Management System (BMS). Power on without holding brake pedal. Do not start engine. Wait for battery light to illuminate. Flash high beams 5 times. Press & release brake pedal 3 times. Wait ~10 seconds, battery light will flash 3 times. BMS is reset. Power down. This will allow the BCM to relearn the battery status. If that doesn't work, take it to Ford.
The driver side rear seat is actually the spot got the factory subwoofer spot if you opted into that.Theres a;; aftermarket strap making it easier to open open.
I have Auto Hold enabled and the console shifter. The truck automatically shifted into Park after about 10 minutes when I was waiting a long time in a fast food drive thru.
Thanks, I can't tell you how many times I have pulled over, turned the truck off, opened the door, closed it and turned the truck back on to get my Iphone to work right.
The "cameras" are actually driver attentiveness sensors for the Driver Assistance features if you have Blue Cruise or Adaptive Cruise Control. I don't have those features, so I don't have those sensors. To find out where the sensors are is simple. Shoot a video out of direct sunlight from the driver's seat. Pan the camera around the cab. When reviewing the video, look for faint rapidly blinking lights in the video playback that are invisible to the naked eye. The blinking lights are infrared sensors scanning your face to make sure you're paying attention to the road.

Haha. Same here bro. I was like “duh”.
Just got a 2023 raining like mad the afternoon we got the truck, selected the slippery mode, truck never fishtailed or slipped while driving…love it!
liv it as well.
Thanks for your time. I like the reset at the beginning. Sometimes CarPlay won’t connect, not a lot but can be stubborn.
Thanks for the support. Yeah, it cuts out sometimes.
I had a lot of fun setting up the brake and lane assists (that I never knew I had 😂) thank you for posting this!
Awesome! You’re welcome.
We just bought our F150 XLT this weekend. This is great information. I had no idea about the drive mode either. Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Good info. Getting my 23 platinum very soon and can’t wait to check out the features in this video.
Ya, I ordered the Super Pro Platinum. Has lots of extra features. Don’t miss out.

Figured all of these out already. except the rear door, I have super crew so doesn’t apply anyway. but leaving a comment to give you a boost anyway.

Thanks for the tips! How did you get leather seats on an XL/STX?
I got that sent to me by a company called Kustom. I removed it though since the backseat did not fit.
I knew all of them except resetting the radio that you first did. Can't wait until tomorrow to try it.🙂
did it work for you?
@TheManToys Actually, it did.

I’m not familiar with the super traction. That’s for the compliment.

Here is another one. If you hop out of the cab and forget to put it in park, the shifter will shift to park for you.
Yea it’s annoying as shit if you open the door it does it 🙄
Discovered this feature 3 months ago after owning the truck 10 months.
Thanks mate from Balnarring Australia.

Curious if anyone has had an instance where the shifter got stuck and would not go from Park to Drive/Reverse? Thx.
When lane assist is set to aid + alert in my 22, the steering wheel corrects before the vibration.
yeah. it feels weird. that’s why i turn off the assist. only the aid i turn on sometimes.

I have 2 kids and large dog... do you think possible to fit in supercab? How much floor space behind driver when seat is up?
Big back yard, 2/3 bench for kids then keep passenger side up for dog.

How do you get that rear seat back to drop without the mod?
There’s a latch. You gotta reach deep in the back.
