I'd love to hear how it goes! Was a tough hike but the payoff was fantastic. Day two was a crazy fishing day! That video will be out next Sunday. Thanks for watching :)

The high country was seriously epic! I think that black spot you saw running around was the first official big foot sighting! Great video!

Yeah this was not a bad way to end the backpacking fishing season for sure! Well I only had bear spray with me, no sasquatch spray haha Thanks for watching!

Awesome video, and what a climb! I'd rather hike nine miles and catch a 7 inch trout than drive to a lake and catch a 20 inch trout, there's just something about the whole experience. Can't wait to watch part 2. Now I have to try to find out where this one is! I don't imagine too many people venture to this spot. I've been thinking you should do a backcountry grouse hunting / fishing trip. That would make a great catch and cook episode! Whether it's a fishing, grouse, or gear video I always love the content. Thanks for another good one!

Thanks you! I agree with you 100%... the hike, the effort, the views, the remote locations, the fishing... yeah it's all part of the experience! Part two is a fishing extravaganza! Should be a fun video :) I would happily tell you where this is as it isn't likely to see many visitors. I don't have a private message function on here so I'll just say it's just outside the NCNP east of Ross Lake. I would love to do a backcountry grouse and trout video! YUM! We actually saw quite a few grouse on this trip haha Thanks as always for watching

@@CascadeBackcountry Right on! Thanks for the tip. That, along with your brief glimpse of that shitty map I should find them no problem 🤣👍🏻. Can't wait for part 2!

@@justinpennick5665 I'd definitely love to hear about the trip if you go! Of course it wouldn't be till next summer. Yeah that map was nearly useless BUT there should be enough there to figure out where it is!

I was feelin it after that hike man. We actually made it from the lake back to the car in just over 4 hours so we cut our time in half but we knew the route and it was mostly downhill. Legs were toast tho! Last summer was a little rough on the high lake fishing front for sure.. wait till part 2 of this trip next Sunday... the fishing gets NUTS!
