I remember stories from first-season SNL about Bill Murray and Chevy Chase getting into fist-fights seconds before a skit, dusting themselves off to perform, and as soon as the cameras cut continuing their fights.
That's what you do when you're a professional.
Nobody is pointing out the rumors Cody left over the same reasons as Punk, the bucks went after both of them. Punk was the one that stood up to them.
Cody left a year after punk left WWE, Punk was a hothead cause of his past life, While cody was a pro cause of his past life. Cody knows the bits of backstage BS more than Punk.
I always told people Punk got to that place and saw how it was ran and soured almost instantly. Punk is a indie dude but he was always more of an old school wrestling mind than an indie mark like Ambrose and Bryan. The Jade Cargill story where she said she was never trained in using a chair and the agents told her to hit someone with a chair anyway with no training and no one was willing to teach her and Punk had to teach her was eye opening. That place is an unorganized mess.
If they studied Punk's history, they would have known that the indie ish wouldn't have flown with him.
Punk also learned how a promotion is run and learned TV and production from Paul Heyman and Gabe Sapolsky
Don't forget that Punk is straight edge and tony hoovers up drugs like the end of Scarface.
What makes it ironic is that Aew is the ideal company of all the people who’ve cried about WWE ever since WCW was bought out. They always stated “Aew will never have wrestles court, they will never have backstage politics, no egos, this is not like WWE. It’s comical.

The ratings only don’t matter when it’s the week of the Super Bowl...or there’s an NBA playoff game, an MLB exhibition match, football tryouts, the lighting of the Rockefeller Christmas Tree, or the Yule Log on channel 97.
The aew fans have taken me from liking there being competition in the business so fans and performers could benefit to wanting to see wwe just bury Khan forever. Send those virgin, neckbeard, wrasslin fans back to grandma's basement.

Yet, AEW Dynamite this week's rating was still lower than the Punk-Helwani interview. I was expecting AEW to gain a big viewership ratings boost this week cause Punk essentially gave them free publicity.

Getting an Uber outside of Heathrow is always a nightmare, it’s on the far edge of London, nowhere near anyplace else of note, and there’s thousands of people landing at the airport every hour. Most British people get public transport, prebook with a private mini cab firm or get a family member to pick them up for transport.
Very hard to get an uber on a busy day in heatrow, Once i waited 40 minutes…
