Watching those guys literally set fire to their credibility over the past few years with their (particularly Dave) incessant defense of TYB, Omega and AEW’s “modern wrestling” has been a trip. And since that “scrum,” every time I’ve seen a thumbnail of Bryan on a WO video, I can’t help but wonder how he managed to get that big head all the way up Jericho’s ass. In public, no less.

Jim said back when AEW started that if tony is going to do everything from booking to being the boss that it would get to him sooner or later and sure enough as time goes on we get more and more mask off moments from TK.
Brian may not be aware that Tony Schiavone IS well known in Georgia as one of the voices of UGA football. UGA football is perhaps THE most popular sports team in the state, and Tony has been an important part of their broadcasts.

Well, their the only team in the state (besides the braves) that actually win in the big moments. (And I say that as a bit of a fan of both teams. My dad is from Atlanta and still loves the Dogs and the Braves so I got to see a bunch of them growing up even though I live and grew up in Maryland)
Why because Last is a hack who has lived off the coattails of Jim. He got Jim to fleece his fans with all of the shit this show has become. He has taken the sleaziest slimy things that they do on RUclips and Twitter and used it on Jim's podcast. Then complains when other people do it. I guess Jim has some carny in him, but what he has let Last drag him down too is just plain sad.

Schiavone definitely has the credentials to prove he's legit in the world of sports but for some reason he decided to do commentary for two of the worst wrestling promotions ever which just confuses me. And that being said, at least WCW *used* to be something.

Tony schiavone actually is a pretty respected sports guy in the Atlanta area. He has done sports talk radio and braves broadcasts for many many years. If you live in Atlanta and dont watch wrestling, you still would know who tony is. Hes not vin Scully or harry kalas but he is loved in that market as a legit sports guy

Oh please people in the WWE do watch AEW. Wrestlers from WWE have tweeted about Cesaro and Saraya's appearance there. There were even producers on NXT seen watching AEW backstage. Also Braun doing the whole powerbomb finish, which is clearly copying Wardlow. They watch AEW otherwise you wouldn't be hearing about the WWE being interested in Wardlow, MJF, and Jade Cargill.
