When I was in the US Navy stationed in San Diego, my pregnant Wife had a craving for rolled tacos at 4 AM many days. I could only find one business that was open at that time in the morning. They would see me coming and they knew why I was there, so they had a dozen ready. Quick in and out. My Son loves tacos. Wonder where He got that? :-) .

I know what you mean. I immediately thought of my mom talking about how, in the 1920s and '30s, the ice wagon would come by every week. Mom said the ice cost 25¢. She and her sister would take their ice tongs and a quarter out to the ice man and haul the ice block in and plunk it in the ice box. I never saw any of that but, in my head, I still have the image I created when Mom told me the story. You are so right - it's the little things. 😊

You can warm the tortilla over a pan, normally in Mexico we make them when the tortilla is fresh from the mill, but reheating in the pan does the trick, deep frying them is not that necessary, you can use enough oil that allows the taco to stay roll, then when finish it you put some crema spreaded over the tacos then lettuce, salsa verde or red salsa queso fresco or panela cheese, and thats it, the fillings could be boiled chicken, tinga de pollo, beef tinga, potato and carrots if you are vegan or just love the taste, cheese and carrots :3
    Love the video!!

So…I love the food ol Cowboy Kent Rollins makes, make no mistake. But the real reason I watch his videos is to hopefully get a glimpse of that happy dance he does at the end. lol

I knew a Mexican woman who used shredded beef to make her chili. It was very good. I have been thinking about that recently and with you using a crock pot to cook the meat so it is like shredded beef. I know those taquitos were very good and I might try to make them as well.

Kent I have been watching your stuff for awhile now and I absolutely love it. You remind me a great deal of my now deceased grandpa mike who was a rodeo cowboy and a real gentlemen. Keep doing what your doing. :)
