You have no idea how much I love your videos man. I've been going through some pretty hard times & your videos are literally therapy for me. I noticed a massive difference in the vibe of Peru vs Bolivia. Bolivia was interesting but clearly not in the state for tourism.
Bolivia has some tremendous tourism opportunities. They didn't capitalize on them, and instead chose to do what tourists don't do, and go to the worst parts.
The sky at night in Cuzco is SPECTACULAR. Peach black sky and because of the city's height (11,00 feet above the sea level) the stars seems to be closer and brighter than ever.
That's amazing that you go to Cusco and almost immediately run into someone who you can talk to in your home language. The world has become a pretty amazing and fun place for the travellers.

cristy f in cusco (the city) there is a massive amount of international people coming mainly bc of Machu Picchu so english is basic for most locals, it is not like that in most of the other cities. Nonetheless, always friendly and you should totessss come hehe

And try not to spend too much on tourist zones, they tend to double the prizes and make the food less savory (because some think foreigns wouldn't like the actual, strong and marvellous tastes). Ceviche is a must do, but for smth cheaper, papa a la huancaina, lomo saltado and juanes. Good luck and stay away from burglars :)

Taxi drivers might make the ammount he said, but only in very touristic cities like Cuzco where they can up their prices hehehe. I hope you enjoy Cuzco and that you don't fall in many tourist traps. If you plan on visiting Lima, the capital, let me know!

Well... what can you expect from a guy that starts looking for a Burger King the minute he lands in a country which has one of the most rich, diverse, exciting and healthy food cultures in the world? I was in Cusco in March. I would definitely recommend making the trip out to Machu Picchu since you're already so close. It's def an amazing sight to see. Anyways there's lots of little villages out in the mountains nearby with friendly people. Almost impossible to have a bad time in Peru!
Tips for traveling to Machu Picchu: Take a taxi outside of the airport and you will pay around 15 soles instead of 25. You must always bargain taxi ride prices. You don’t need to buy coca leaves (every hostel/hotel have them and will offer them to you within your stay). The closest the hotel is to the main plaza the more expensive it is. There are hostels as cheap as $15 per night. The food in Peru is amazingly delicious it is a crime you eat fast food. However if you are craving for Burger King you might wanna try Bembos which is the Peruvian version of Burger King and it is way better. Don’t hold the little llamas because these ladies will ask you for a tip and if you don’t give them what they expect they can get a little rude. I recommend to avoid it, since you will have chances to see llamas walking around Cuzco and take pics for free. If you are on a budget try going to el Mercado San Pedro (the main market) by la plaza and they will have cheap food and yummy. Always BARGAIN. The only things you cannot bargain are food and hotels but besides that feel free to bargain with the locals for everything.

I was in Cusco in March. I would definitely recommend making the trip out to Machu Picchu since you're already so close. It's def an amazing sight to see. Anyways there's lots of little villages out in the mountains nearby with friendly people. Almost impossible to have a bad time in Peru!

Tips for traveling to Machu Picchu: Take a taxi outside of the airport and you will pay around 15 soles instead of 25. You must always bargain taxi ride prices. You don’t need to buy coca leaves (every hostel/hotel have them and will offer them to you within your stay). The closest the hotel is to the main plaza the more expensive it is. There are hostels as cheap as $15 per night. The food in Peru is amazingly delicious it is a crime you eat fast food. However if you are craving for Burger King you might wanna try Bembos which is the Peruvian version of Burger King and it is way better. Don’t hold the little llamas because these ladies will ask you for a tip and if you don’t give them what they expect they can get a little rude. I recommend to avoid it, since you will have chances to see llamas walking around Cuzco and take pics for free. If you are on a budget try going to el Mercado San Pedro (the main market) by la plaza and they will have cheap food and yummy. Always BARGAIN. The only things you cannot bargain are food and hotels but besides that feel free to bargain with the locals for everything.
