Of all the things you changed here, the one that pleased me the most is that Cinder was a chaperone instead of just a student. That just made more sense to me for some reasons. Also, good job using Sun to show the racism against Faunus is actually prominent to have legit police brutality.
9:30 I’m a new fan and I didn’t watch the original Fixing RWBY Volume 1, but I watched the remastered version. In that version, Pyrrha tells Yang to keep her semblance a secret, but she uses it on full display here. Just pointing out an inconsistency but I’m loving the show so far.
I hope this version of Atlas doesn't have only 13 ships At their capital that's not even a big for the most militarized nation they should have more Actually has torpedo boats or destroyers not only battleships
The dude is like that one Tolkien character that is Bassically out of the story but also might be super strong, important or old. I mean this guy looks like he shouldn't be able to walk properly, let alone do a lot of jobs. He must be like a retired huntsman that just changed his name to Old man for shits and giggles
Oh come on, Ruby stealing Weiss' binder and the all-president mash up speech + Nixon shtick was hilarious. Why would you cut that out? Also the Roman vs Mercury and Emerald scene was gold, you have to work that in somehow even if you have to tweak it a little to account for the Tukson murder not yet happening. Are we going with Tukson being someone who was part of the White Fang but bailed out when they got too radical/started working with Roman or are we going with him helping people who got into the White Fang but had second thoughts later and we too afraid of leaving the cult out of reprisal? Ether one justifies Mercury and Emerald killing him later. Or, OR...we can have him being like a fence or like someone how operates in the grey area of the law as a side business (maybe a book store doesn't bring enough cash, especially when he lends them out like that) because Veil has a lot more laws than Vaccuo, thus that can be his loose connection / business partner with Roman (which would explain why Roman was so upset when Mercury and Emerald killed him without consulting Roman first). This would also serve to show that Roman wasn't so insulting of the White Fang members because he's a racist per say but rather because he was, in a way, forced to work with them (I mean yeah, he's ganna side with the winning side, he's a survivor, but they didn't approach him so much as they gave him an "offer he couldn't refuse", like with Adam).
A nice change to keep the line would be if Weiss still gifted Ruby some binders, but saw Weiss holding one that she's clearly using but Ruby liked the design more. But before telling Weiss, she was already on her way to give Blake her gift.
