random thought years later, what if yang's friends (the phantom thieves) were the non-cardin members of his team? one of my biggest issues with rwby is that all characters come in groups of four and that really bloats the number of characters with nothing to do. having a minor character quirk of "these guys were fast friends with yang and probably went to parties with her" could be fun
I really liked the Ironwood added moment, including him being with Ruby when confronting Cinder, i think is a cool moment and him being the reason of Ruby being there, instead of Cinder running on the rooftop in the less stealt way possible is a very good change
On thing I really love about your rewrites is that you don't really piss and moan about the people making RWBY proper. Sure you have had a little fun at their expance but it comes of like a genuny joke or humor in all good fun. Rather than how bitter and try hard edgy so many other rewrightes come off as. Your sesires comes off as RWBY + like how some anime are based of a book or maga that isn't done yet so they end up wildly different to the books but gave there own charm. Kind of like how I personally like the Sars Victoria from the Hellsing OVA over her ultimate incarnation. I've come to believe that RWBY as it is now. Is much the same it's Flawed as all hell. But still has some good even great qualitys I think the best thing for it would be, is to let it have it's run and once it's finished go back see what worked and what didn't and try again. With for knowledge this time. I think this is apart of the reason why poeople like the RWBY manga and the rumoured DC comic and rewrights becouse they have hindsight like the rewrites so peacing together the plot With that in mind is far easyer. And the Magas are just small collections of short story's and day in the life fair or stright up retellings so the wrighters can fix or expand at there lesser
I don’t know how you intend to handle Ozpin in your Volume 6 rewrite (assuming you do actually get there), but I think a great addition to this rewrite would be the circumstances surrounding the death of Summer Rose and the fracturing of Team STRQ: Ozpin straight up sacrificed Summer like a pawn in chess with the rest of the three being none the wiser, blaming themselves and going there separate ways. Just a thought.
Personally, I think it would’ve been a good opportunity for the interaction between Jaune and Neptune to have been Neptune coming out as gay. That way he has a reasonable excuse of declining Weiss. This also gives more underlying trust between our important characters. Jaune has a queer sister, and would likely welcome Neptune with open arms. Also, it would be a good opportunity for RWBY to have a queer man in the story, since most of RWBY’s queer characters are women
11>Yang doesn’t really have much going on plot wise like the rest of RWBY, being the heart of the group she mostly solves other people's problems. As a result you’ve given her a lot of positive personality traits, so much so that it’s almost annoying. She’s the one that crunches the numbers? Just… Why? If it had been Weiss it would’ve shown the growth in the relationship between Weiss and Blake. If it had been Jaune it would’ve shown a deeper bond between RWBY and JNPR. If it had been anyone else it would’ve shown that Weiss and Jaune aren’t the only ones that are smart. By giving it to Yang all it does is make Yang’s character look better in a scene that’s already going to do that. 11>”The moping Sun”. Well this is depressing. In RWBY proper the two were flirty with each other but you could write it off after he lost as Sun just being a really good friend and never really liking her that way. In your rewrite it’s canonical that Sun has romantic feelings for Blake since he’s moping so it stings even more than in the actual show. 13>A little disappointed that there wasn’t even an attempt at giving chase, can’t be too hard to spot an open window when they’re that big, it’s the middle of the night and you’re full of adrenaline.
Is yang the one to crunch the numbers in this? I thought CP just said that yang says to Blake "Whise crunched the numbers" as in Yang is reminding Blake to get our cat girl out of her funk. But maybe I mis heard
@@shmee123ful Thank you, he did say Weiss said it. I must've misheard and been so bothered by what I thought I heard that I didn't even bother to check if I heard it right.
Man. I get the students lockers are cool and all. But can you imagine the amount of damages that Ozpin had to pay for whenever one of those things lands on property? Like even just on one of the pavements of the school grounds alone, should got a few thousand or so to repair or replace
I'm sorry, I either misheard you say "Weiss" as "I" or didn't hear "Weiss" at all. As a result I expressed my frustration towards a problem that was not there. I'm afraid the spoiler is already affecting my judgment.

I really like this change because it properly connects Ruby and Ironwood, and establishes a notable throughline between them in Penny.
10:18 - Spider-Wood, Spider-Wood, does whatever a spider could.

Episode 12: Also let´s add that Yang would have orange dress.
YES! I WAS SO UPSET ABOUT THE WHITE DRESS!

I really dig that ironwood Ruby change in its entirety
Also that nice foreshadowing of Ozpin's secretive/lying side.
Imagine the phantom thieves were in the story of Rwby
there is actually a Street Fighter style game in which the persona 4 characters and the Rwby cast are DLC characters

ah yes.
wide ironwood
10:18 This visual gag caught me off guard, thank you

So is this leading to your volume 3 rewrite or are you just dividing the videos into more viewable sections?
It's a lead up to Volume 3! Just one more week (copyright issues not withstanding)!
I find thin arm ironwood is just so funny, do you think that's wierd?
