    Ingredients:
2 cups cooked crab meat 3 tbsp butter ( more if needed )
6 tbsp all- purpose flour 2 cups milk or cream
Pinch sea salt and pepper 1 tbsp green onion ( garnish )
1 cup shredded cheese ( your choice)
    Prep-time 20 Min. Cooking time 25 Min.
    Method:
Preheat oven to 350°F then grease a 9 x 9 inch pan or 6 small serving dishes. Start the boil on 4 cups of water with a pinch of sea salt, add your crab legs, let boil for about 5 to 10 minutes, then drain. Remove crab meat from the shell and place in a bowl.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
Remove saucepan from heat, add flour let come to a paste return to heat and continue cooking, then add milk or cream, until your sauce has thickened then season with sea salt and freshly grated black pepper.
Add more milk or liquid from the cooked crab if needed.
Then equally portion your crab into 6 small individual baking dishes or one 9 x 9 pan, pour your sauce over each one and mix it through.
Top with shredded cheese of your choice and a pinch of sea salt and freshly grated pepper, bake in a 350°F oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
When done, remove from the heat top with some green onion.
Serve with steamed rice or baby spuds.
    Bonita’s Tips:
Have water boiled first and then add crab legs with about 1 tsp of sea salt.
You can use canned crab or imitation crab.
You can add cheese to the mixture and then top with bread crumbs to bake. Optional?
Use cheese of choice like brie or sharp cheddar.

what a treat! just a tip - the quickest way to get out the flour lumps is to use a spatula (the kind you flip eggs with). You smash the lumps and gently break it against the bottom of the pan super quick.

as you said bonita EVERYTHING !!!!! IS SOOO EXPENSIVE @@ if..i was going to do a seafood dish... like this... id be doing canned/frzn... make the sauce.. the steam everything together.... dump the cheese sauce over it hit it with a dash of old bay....cook it like you did and serve it over noodles/rice/bisquits/ saltine cracker/ whatever...i used to save up from christmas/march....and buy seafood frzn... scallops/ clams/ frzn lobster/ shrimp canned/frzn. make a roue thick kind of bisque with the seafood juices and add wide noodles add seafood... and that..... was my brothers birthday meal from me.... he LOVED LOVED SEAFOOD....his wife dispised it and wouldnt let him have it in the house . she didnt want the house to smell.. so unless.. he was eating out...he wouldnt be able to have it. it was a thrill.. to see him walk into the house and have it saturated with the smell of seafood. and you could see the excitment..;];]; he got ALL OF IT !!!! I DIDNT SAVE ANY BACK... it was all for him.. hes been gone 3 yrs on memorial day ...i just hope hes SWIMMING IN SEAFOOD where ever he is... cause his wife cant stop him now. thank you for a great video....

@@bonitaskitchen bonita thank you.. i LOVE your crableg cheese sauce !!!! i bet you both ate til you waddled !!!! i know i sure would have... im sorry..it WASNT MEANT to out shine your reciepe...i was just trying to relate to what i used to do. thank you for the condolences... his wife/i did have a good relationship while i was growing up... then she just started getting spiteful..anything her husband/kids did /say... she would tear to bits.and make you feel worthless. it was soo sad. i dont know if it was menapause/ maybe bipolarizum/ or what... but she wasnt nice and jumped at ANY oppertunity to rip ppl apart on anything...she died 8 months after my brother did..she gave up. no one was around her to degrade anymore. and she had plenty.. of time to be alone.... and think. i dont know if she ever asked for forgivness or was even saved...all she wanted was a grave side service and be done. she got it...but the kids wanted a reception after.. which they did... it was the most "freeing " feeling those kids had in a long time...he was 76 she was 74. when they died.. all i know... is that she has got ALOT.. of repenting or whatever you call it...to do now... if they are together.. i hope she is the happiest ever...IF.. GOD has forgiven her...shes GOT 50 YRS that i know of.. to fix.

We are never to old to learn and I'm all about sharing my love of cooking and baking with our viewers. We shared half of the meal and of course enjoyed the rest.
