It won't be that bad, just use upgraded armour and weapons. I didn't even know I could have better equipment till I was at the end of the game and had beaten 3 Valkyries with bogus armour. I went straight away to get the mist armour and beat all of the ladies. This game is so amazing, especially after you receive the "eye of the winged chosen" you can dodge roll any attack.
Valkyrie armour, lots of cool down, and high damage runic attacks. I used wrath of the frost ancient and river of knives for my axe then gift of apollo and I forget the other attack
There’s an item that reduced Valkyrie damage by 5% and another that reduces the cost of rage attacks. These two items were a huuuuge help. Instant refresh to runes also huge help... Most importantly don’t got after her. Let her come to you and learn when to dodge, when to block and when to parry. Good luck!
I'm so glad some developers acknowledge the fact that some gamers actually like to play a game BY THEMSELVES. I interact with other people all damn day. I game to AVOID people and do MY own thing. Multiplayer and battle royale will never interest me as much as solo-playing through an amazing story. Games are still beautiful art forms (Well, to those mature enough to view them as such), so as long as developers remember that-and not get so frickin' LAZY by focusing on "what's new" instead of "what's GOOD"-they'll get my money. Happily.

Not only you can see a "secret" ending if you go to your house in the end but also you can see a secret conversation if you go to another house, Freya's one. If you stand next to her door Atreus will ask Kratos if this is a good idea, also him and Mimir will talk about the possibility that Freya brings Baldur back to life like she did to Mimir, which Mimir will explain that he isn't actually alive but just reanimated, he is still dead and it's not something Freya would want for her son after what she already did to him.
-Something you didnt notice: When the boy gets sick you hear someone call the world serpent. When you go to change realm it is stopped in Vanaheim. Thats means the guy who called the World serpent is from Vanaheim! No problem =)
Actually they make mention of this in the game, I think Mimir mentions that Tyr’s temple point towards the vanaheim tower by default. A theory points toward future Atreus coming back in time and blowing the horn being that it is also mentioned that the Jotunn tongue can only be spoken by only two other remaining people (Mimir and Atreus) of course aside from the world serpent and Tyr

I completed this game yesterday. Hands down the best game of this decade. I played rdr2 and before playing god of war, I thought how could Gow be the game of the year. And I was wrong. I haven't played the previous entries but it has one of the greatest stories ever.
I played both and I still think RDR2 should win the GOTY. The two games are great games and on par on many things but RDR2 win with the scale, details, cinematography, open world aspect, much more side quests, more side characters and interactions, mini games, etc etc. I spent about 200 hours on GoW but I took almost 600 hours on RDR2.
Also not sure if everybody noticed it but you can kinda see the Jotunheim tower in the lake of the nine pretty early in the game. When you are traveling on the boat, if you pass near where the tower should be Atreus says he thinks he saw something, Kratos will say he did too. Then if you point the camera to that point you can see a transparent tower in that place. Atreus and Mimir will then talk about how the tower wasn't destroyed, just hidden from the other realms so it should still be somewhere
There's one reference most god of war fans didn't notice. The reference is Cod of War armor in New Game +. The armor name is basically taken from extra skin from God of War 2, which is Kratos wear a fish costume

I’m don’t think I’ve heard anyone else say anything about these. (and yes I know that in the game they said that Freya was once the queen of the valkyries).
Okayyyyy I have done pretty much 95% of the game other than Killing all the Valkyries and sparing a few Soul ancients for practice on beating and punishing without killing my enemies, so ik Im on point. And I never seen that juicy sexy armor that is black and gold at the end of the video and the Gold Centurion looking armor ever! Not even in other videos of people who have completed the game.

No, Kratos was not killed by his son. He was killed before th Ragnarok. He was just seen moaning for his father. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether it was Kratos' body or not.
Its not Kratos. On the drawing, Kratos would wear his spartan skirt, which he havnt got on drawing. It can be Tyr because he havnt got one arm, on myths Tyr lost his arm because of fenrir :)

Corey Barlog said "Now that the core base has been set up, the next entry in God of War series will probably be akin to the wait between God of War 1 and God of War 2." That's mean 2 years. Here is a problen, freya needs her revenge, and if odin gave her her wings back for revenge since kratos killed his son, this is going to be really hard to deal with for developers, freya is too big to not be a main story boss and just be a sidequest, so how is a mainstory boss going to be even more powerful than sigrun or how is the REAL queen of the valkyrie going to be weaker than sigrun for the balanced story experience...
Well....as long there is new enemy and we can travel to the new realm......I don't really have a problem.....but the question is.....will we get more character like human or something at the next game?cause you know.....we already free all the valkyrie in the old game and they probably have restore all the helhiem and valhalla problem.....
If Kratos can kill Zeus the god of God's, shurly Thor will be another one to bite the dust...it should be an epic battle and have several battle encounters that last up to an hour each that slowly depletes Thor's health as he gets stronger with new moves for each progressive encounter ...like battling all the Valkyries at once...in one body..with extra stuff too.... Freya probably will be the main antagonist in one of the next games if she doesn't come to the realisation that Kratos and Atreus where right by killing Baldur. But I hope that she comes to that realisation and maybe help and forgive them

Okayyyyy I have done pretty much 95% of the game other than Killing all the Valkyries and sparing a few Soul ancients for practice on beating and punishing without killing my enemies, so ik Im on point. And I never seen that juicy sexy armor that is black and gold at the end of the video and the Gold Centurion looking armor ever! Not even in other videos of people who have completed the game.

No, Kratos was not killed by his son. He was killed before th Ragnarok. He was just seen moaning for his father. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether it was Kratos' body or not.
Its not Kratos. On the drawing, Kratos would wear his spartan skirt, which he havnt got on drawing. It can be Tyr because he havnt got one arm, on myths Tyr lost his arm because of fenrir :)

Here is a problen, freya needs her revenge, and if odin gave her her wings back for revenge since kratos killed his son, this is going to be really hard to deal with for developers, freya is too big to not be a main story boss and just be a sidequest, so how is a mainstory boss going to be even more powerful than sigrun or how is the REAL queen of the valkyrie going to be weaker than sigrun for the balanced story experience...

If Kratos can kill Zeus the god of God's, shurly Thor will be another one to bite the dust...it should be an epic battle and have several battle encounters that last up to an hour each that slowly depletes Thor's health as he gets stronger with new moves for each progressive encounter ...like battling all the Valkyries at once...in one body..with extra stuff too.... God luck will be needed .

Freya probably will be the main antagonist in one of the next games if she doesn't come to the realisation that Kratos and Atreus where right by killing Baldur. But I hope that she comes to that realisation and maybe help and forgive them
