@@NotAGoodUsername360as if he hasn't allready blinded by vengeance
Gouging his eyes out would've been enough to stop the blinding
I love how much of an actual bro Mimir is. While Mimir gets to experience what is likely the closest thing to heaven, him just knowing that Kratos is dealing with an insufferable manifestation of his subconscious makes him want to stay with Kratos
It's hilarious having him watch our back 😂
Instead of Mimirs "Brother look out" we get Helios "look out dumbass"
Helios was honestly the best thing for me in this dlc
Badlands Chugs at the beach with his friends: 2:40
I kinda wish they added a "I'll forgive but never forget" moment with Helios, but that would go against Helios being just a projection of Kratos.. bummer but just as good
Kratos says later in the DLC 'What I did to Helios was wrong' and still was gonna sacrifice him to the flames 😭😭😭
I mean I would too I don't really care aslong it's not my problem
I love how Helios is like the one god who did basically nothing to Kratos and got killed because it was convenient.
It’s prefect for Kratos to be faced with him in this place that forces him to confront his past cruelties
Edit: also Helios literally saved Kratos back in chains of Olympus
Wtf kratos
Helios dared to lie to Kratos about Flame of Olympus. Lying to Kratos just to save your own life is punishable by manual decapitation.
@@vksasdgaming9472 pretty sure it was saving more than just his life XD
@@boxman7044 It was variation of telling torturer what victim guesses is what they want to hear.
I like that they brought back crispin freeman for his voice too
This DLC is the combination of the new game's engine with a mix of God Of War 2. 🔥🔥🔥
Everyone seems to forget that Helios was trying to lie and manipulate Kratos into stepping into the flame of Olympus. An act Helios knew would kill Kratos, even though Helios stated moments beforehand that he would repay the debt he owed Kratos in full. Even though Helios' death was morbid, it was still deserved for such an oath breaker.
So you wouldn't lie to a man that killed your family and also just crippled you?
@@Prince__TeclisSaid family was also Kratos' family, who lied and manipulated him to do their bidding constantly and made his life a literal living hell. An eye for an eye.
@kenzieuchiha1191 tell me if I'm wrong wasn't that ares?
@Elimichaelvillavicencio-yn1uw Yeah Ares was the main culprit but the others certainly didn't help their case by any means trying to stop him.
This makes me want an entire game with this set-up. Not Kratos and Helios specifically, but a game where the main character has an attached companion who fucking *hates* him and the two argue back-and-forth the whole game.
“Aaaaand he’s back” lmao
It's funny to hear how confused Helios is when he experiences the new debuffs 😂
I feel as if I had already heard Helio's voice somewhere else...
This would feel and hit diff if I can remember anything about Helios except the fact kratos yanked his head off lol
Gotta admit Helios is funny
"Irony can have you when it earns you, or something" AYO
I love how, despit ebeing one bitter asshole, Helios still wars Kratos of incoming enemy attacks from his blindspots.
“If I must carry you again, make yourself useful and say what you see in battle.”
“Aye aye, asshole.”
I love these two.
Just remember fellas originally kratos wanted to spare Helios until Helios got a bit ballsy
I didn’t even know they added the guy who got ripped in god of war in here, I can’t believe I missed this part.
The dialogue oozes 'erm actually'. What a travesty.
“He’s lost weight”
I could tell immediately that he's voiced by Crispin Freeman. Dude's iconic af
It’s a shame we never got to see Heimdall and Helios interact
Man, i don't think many people considered this, but just the fact that with Helios dead (and the resulting cold and famine due to no Sun) has probably put Kratos's kill count in the hundreds of thousands or even millions!
I love that they brought back Crispin freeman to reprise his role as everyone's favorite flashlight i mean sun god
Edit: fun fact, Helios actually was a Titan In Greek mythology before Apollo became the sun deity (also god of music). The more you know ^^
It’s pretty ironic that in one role he’s the sun god, and in another he’s everyone’s favorite “fuckmothering vampire”
There are men who talk like this to each other and consider themselves best friends
The fact that this is the voice of Alucard from hellsing
What's interesting is that what you believe or manifest in Valhalla becomes reality if you will is strong enough. Its why Týr got his arm back, why Kratos can summon the Blade of Olympus at near full power even outside Valhalla etc.
So, for all we know, Helios , like Athena, may very well be haunting Kratos out of spite lol
I am a little sad that Athena didn’t show up in the dlc, but Helios was a welcome surprise.
I want a video of Helios and Mimir on a table bickering with each other.
And Kratos just rolls his eyes endlessly
**begrudgingly**
"Hello, Helios."
The death I gave you is unjust. How can he say that so casually 😆
You know, if I had a nickel for every time Kratos chilled and hung out with a talking severed head, I would have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot but it's wierd that it happened twice.
