0:27 Stop whining.
0:49 The hard way.

1:15 A temporary one...
1:26 Let us put them to rest.
1:40 She demands a cure...
2:00 I helped no one...
2:05 Your challenges mean nothing to the gods...
2:18 Unlikely...
2:25 Another spirit who wants something from us...
2:33 We cannot undo your mistakes...
2:35 Your alliance is unusual.
2:49 You talk too much.
3:20 Foolish...
3:35 I imagine they were.
3:41 We do what we please, boy. No excuses.
3:51 Then we shall give them death.
4:00 Confronting the past comes with a price.
4:04 Be cautious. We know not what it does.
4:14 Enjoy it, It will not last.
4:23 And you have been told.
4:29 Why do they whine?
4:44 No. Death can have me when it earns me.
4:54 No. Do not ask again.
5:02 Yes. No.
5:17 Then the rest matters little.
5:24 The statue may have survived... But a truce clearly did not... Monuments are useless to those who ignore their message.
6:49 (Slight chuckle) I like you.
6:58 ENOUGH!
7:06 so now you seek revenge. A dangerous path... I’m an authority on the subject. You would do well to listen.
7:27 No. It would only itch more later.
7:36 A careless one... We found its home.
7:45 This jungle was her home. She defended it the way she knew. But if death is the only dignity we can give her...we will give it.
8:45 Then it will surely exact a price. Be wary of shortcuts to knowledge.

So like all of them? XD not that I criticize.
yEs
You dropped this 👑
6:44 Holy HELL. Kratos chuckles, smiles, and says "I like you" to someone in a genuine, warm tone.
Fuuuuuuck.
But remember, Baldur is impervious to all threats, physical or magical.
So Kratos chose emotional, which is conveniently the only weakness Baldur had.
Hence why he said "You talk too much."
“Those poor souls must be in agony.”
“Then we shall give them death.”
Lmao, I mean, sure, Kratos. This is one of the best compilation videos.
6:48 Kratos: (slight chuckle) I like you.
Girl got approval quicker than anyone else in the game😂
Daughter in Law of the Year.
"Monuments are useless to those who ignore their message."
_- Kratos_
Love Kratos when boy asks why Brok is blue.
blue lives matter oof

for legal purposes this is a joke
It probably has something to do with his own past remember the ashes of his old family are on his skin
"you can't just ask someone why they're blue"
"Which way did you choose?"
"The hard way"
GoW Grindset
The amount of dialogue in this game is just absolutely fantastical. Every situation you could possibly get into has dialogue
Seeing only Kratos talk and respond in a compilation makes all his lines 1000% funnier
5:39 why did you make him twitch in such a emotional scene 😭
Mrrhn
Angriboda: "He just needs some DISCIPLINE to bring it out"
Kratos: "Oh I LIKE you!"
4:44 the most bad ass quote ever
I love the way he reacts to Atreus asking about Brok being blue. He doesn't sound angry and gruff, just shocked like "Hey now, we don't say that!"
"I guess you wanted a more practical answer"
Chad Kratos: "Yes."
0:20 He didn’t even see it yet!
I like how different Kratos from 2018 GOW and GOWR/GOWRV. I like to think that in 2018 GOW, Kratos was still managing his rage, his anger which is why he sounds similar to the rest of the games, just older and less rage full. In GOWR and GOWRV he sounds more quiet, more calm as he finally settles most of his rage and anger. A nice touch😊
"DEATH CAN HAVE ME, WHEN IT EARNS ME"!!
Still the most badass words ever uttered in a game!!
ironic considering zeus called him "death, the destroyer of worlds"
"which did you choose?"
"The hard way." Yep that sounds like kratos.
"Lambs crest... I'm the fcking god of war"
I wish they kept it 😅
One of my favourite parts is how Angrboda made Kratos laugh without even trying and it took Mimir almost the entire game
In other words, it took Mimir two fucking games to do what Angrboda could with a single line.
I’m like how Atreus is all like “Hey dad, We’re helping the land!” which you’d think would be something Kratos would like to hear considering his background but then all he says is “Alright” and just moves on without giving another glance.
"death can have me when it earns me" the coldest line in gaming history
"It appears that the librarian would like a word."
Heh. I see what you did there, Smartest Man Alive.
Maven: _says some Elven shit_
Mimir: “Sounds like she wants that journal back!”
Kratos: *_”NO.”_*
"I am an authority on the subject" -best line ever.
"Monuments are useless to those who ignore their message" I swear im fucking screaming right now. Kratos is indeed a one god liner. Homeboy Leonidas will be proud holy shit
Whether practical or pessimistic, I like Kratos' attitude towards things. Expect the worst, assume nothing, always anticipate an attack, and don't let emotions distract you.
Atreus: How is Brok blue and you're not?
Kratos: Boy! 🤨
2:47: “So care to try again?” “You talk too much.” *precedes to throw the nastiest combo you’ve ever seen or heard.*
Mans doesn’t even need to gloat or threaten anymore, he knows he’s Him
Kratos "WHY DO THEY WHINE?!"
Anyone "Because they love you Kratos"
Kratos *grunts*
Older Kratos may be all serious, but he does have hilarious snarky side.
7:12 certainly one of the best line of them all shown.
"Kratos, we purge this garden of poison."
*"WHY"* 💅
Sass of War.
I think kratos is picking up some common sense and humor from atreus. Just like stress talks to himself as kratos when he is not there.
08:22 Mimir getting angry at both of them XD
"Death can have me when it earns me" is the coolest fucking thing I've ever heard
6:40 she got that approval from the dad 💀😭
Men should not pray to monsters, proceeds to lob a dog into a wall.
Kratos really does have that laconic spartan sense of humor going for him
Kratos:man schould not pray to monsters.
Also Kratos: Ares! Destroy my enemies-
oh COME ON THAT WAS 250 YEARS AGO!
The Gods of Olympus have abandoned me. Now there is no hope.
@@tori528 Really ?!
@@islam.peachfull well he spent about 110 years in service of the gods then he lived as a man in norse mythology for about 140 years so yeah, the events of the first game happened 250 years ago in ingame time
@@tori528 dang
I see this more like a dad joke LMAO
5:01 musicians:
8:55 Now that's of Kratos being absolutely done-
“You’re hopeless, both of you!” 😂😂😂
If I see someone say " Death can have me when it EARNS me."
I WOULD BE LITERALLY BE SCARED OF HIM. IT'S SO BADASS!!
The great thing about this line is that it's said by someone who actually walked the talk.
Kratos literally dies and brute force his way up from Hades thrice. Death literally failed to keep him thrice
@@JeSt4m frfr Not even death can keep this beast!
Him and Agent 47 always have great one liners
"No"
- Kratos 2022
"Yes"
- Kratos 2022
@@chichachochi "if" -Spartan king 3000 bc.
"What."
- Kratos 2022
Kratoses response to the Brock blue question is probably the only time ive ever herd him shocked
That thumbnail is work of art alone.
3:20 “Men should not pray to monsters” and 4:39 “Death can have me when it earns me” are the hardest lines in their respective games.
Realistic conversation
Atreus: Father! We need to create our plan of attack!
Kraots: I have a plan, attack.
no one talking about how the video about god of war and the description shows dragon age: Inquisition 💀💀🗿🗿
Edit: i forgot i did this comment and stumbled on this video again now they fixed it now its god of war 2018 💀 .
"Unlikely. You are dead." is the coldest damn sentence I've ever heard lmaooo
You could say, he's laconic
4:57 Now I have the image of Kratos doing a little dance while teaching Calliope to play the harp.
Lyre.
yeah a lyre is different in principle to a harp. more akin to a lute or Guitar.
As a spartan, Kratos is of course trained in larconics, the greek art of saying as much as possible with as little as possible, or as Rattatoskar would say "Fewer words, greater impact".
2:30 ... he is on a ROLL
One of my favorite moments of dialogue in the games is after Brok dies and Kratos stops Atreus from hunting. The line is written as "We have been wounded, and this is a distraction." But Christopher Judge delivers it as "this is... distraction." He sort of stumbles over his words. Kratos is normally very deliberate when he speaks. He doesn't say much and he picks his words carefully. Stumbling over his words in that moment show how much pain he was in.
