- Freya really lets loose on the snickers once Ragnarok is over and things are at relative calm in all the Nine Realms. Here is a compilation of the times she snickers, sighs and teases Kratos and Mimir in God of War Ragnarok. I’ve also included several fun moments of Kratos trying to flirt with Freya and actually giving her a nice compliment.

[ God of War Ragnarök is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 9, 2022, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It will be the ninth installment in the God of War series, the ninth chronologically, and the sequel to 2018's God of War. Loosely based on Norse mythology, the game will be set in ancient Scandinavia and feature series protagonist Kratos and his teenage son Atreus. Serving as the finale to the Norse era of the series, the game will cover Ragnarök, a series of events that bring about the end of days, and depicts the deaths of some of the Norse gods, which was foretold to happen in the previous game after Kratos killed the Æsir god Baldur. ]

If they kept her the same as classical mythology she would have been materialistic, just like aphrodite, but with a blood thirst. @@EXISTENTIALization I agree. They COULD, however, show more of here "goddess of sex/lust" side, just not wanting to immediately fuck Kratos like Aphrodite did. @DiZ Zkl He has changed
A good husband for her 😏
@DiZ Zkl I'd disagree. He did have a life before revenge, and he did suffer a whole saga of Greek tragedies before finally ending Greece itself. With nothing left to lose he had only his goals left to gain at any costs. Plus the Greek gods had it coming.
@DiZ Zkl He is a good person but he did some bad things which he is not proud of
@@rileygoodrich305 yes. He was ruthless but he is a good person now.
I love tremendously how Mimir insists on calling Freya "your majesty" or "Highness", even though she's not really a queen anymore. Meanwhile Odin gets called an "All-Fucker" 🤣 It just shows how he'll abide by honorifics like that for Freya, someone who he believes DESERVES the honorific, but won't at all for someone he deems unworthy even if he IS technically a King. It's a subtle indicator of his respect and esteem for her, and I like that.
It's notable that Mimir really only goes to town on Odin with his insults after Brok's death and Ragnarok's begun. Before then, there was always this subtle feeling that Mimir still respected, or most likely feared, Odin and kept his insults harsh but diplomatic.
*"Is Kratos flirting?"*

Of course, most people seemed to not read the later.
And I stand by that, I love the banter, except for the companion characters being far to quick spoiling where to go and how to solve puzzles. The puzzles aren't that hard and the game is so beautiful and has so much going on, you sometimes just want to look around. In his defense her son was about to murder her and also literally begging for death because even pain would be better then the numb existence she cursed him with.
… still a dick move but really, not even on the top ten list of bad things Kratos has done
She finally came to accept the role she played in his death. It was her choice to take away his vulnerability that led to his warpath, which is what prompted Kratos to kill him

And because two gods went on a quest to find that squeak toy, that probably makes it some kind of holy relic. The hilarity just keeps compounding on this bit.

You can tell how close Kratos and Mimir have gotten by the footprint moment. I get the feeling, Freya's presence encourages his desire to talk more.
I don't know if this is a hot take, but this is easily my favorite pairing of characters in the whole game. They all bounce off each other so well
I can just see Chris Judge rolling his eyes as he speaks 1:00. The banter in this game is god tier.
Also: Kratos saying "I wanted to see the wolves again" was probably the cutest thing I've ever heard him say.
god the transformation in personality in kratos between the old games to the previous game to the newest one. From an arrogant rage monster to a wise stoic cold man to a more friendly and caring and trusting man
@qopoy dnon cool this has nothing to do with my comment, because the entire game shows how kratos cares for more than just himself and his son
"I wanted to see the wolves again"

' i wanted to see the wolves again .🤣🤣🤣' jokes aside the way day and night change with the howling is EPIC
Good thing Mimir knows that Kratos isn't the same person he was before because if not, he's the bravest man alive.
When mimir found out the answer to brok's riddle after his death... i just cried. You can hear Mimir's disbelief and strain from saying that
I do find it a testament to Santa Monica's storytelling that Freya's turn to Kratos's ally is believable despite how relatively fast it happens.
I also just love how they give her way more to do besides just being 'The Witch of the Woods'
6:26 "Hey man, what would you like for breakf - I mean dinn... Hey what the fuck??"

Y'know Mimir is funny when the person who has the most reason to despise him more than anyone still giggles at the shit he has to say
Freya is so cute when she laughs.
True. Sad her laughing is a rare sight.
Although I think Freyas' transition to being on our side is a bit too fast, her interactions with everyone are priceless!
Considering she's apparently been trying to kill Kratos and Atreus since the end of the last game it doesn't seem that quick.
I wouldn't say her transition was "too fast". If you think about it, its been 3 years since Baldur was killed and Fimbulwinter started. It seems fast in the game, but when you consider the time in between games it wasn't that fast.
The circumstances and the pacing of was it greatly done. I didn't think it was rushed at all.
I personally would have preferred her to only fully come fully around after the meeting with the norns, when the visions happen, showing her the error in her ways and the role she played in causing her own problems.
@@Ghost-nj7nj Not Atreus. Just Kratos. In the beginning sled sequence she pushes her way past him, refuses to harm him when it would be an easy way to get them both out of the sled, and hesitates when he draws his bow at her shouting “Don’t make me do this!”
