I'm just curious about the future of the franchise. Now that it's flipped in its head completely, from a violent tragedy to a very optimistic story, how will them keep things unique? I feel like as much as they stray away from the violence (which is a good thing) they put themselves in danger of losing... the soul of the franchise. I guess they will always spice it up with... One thing I love about GOW: Ragnarok is how it not only shows Kratos’ change in character by how he raises Atreus but also by how he acquired and treated his weapons compared to the ones he had in Greece. He’s ripped the heads off of a couple of opponents and treated them as nothing more tools for how he sees fit, whereas Mimir asked Kratos to cut off his head, gives him counsel and the two have built a brotherly relationship. He considers him a brother, not some weapon or tool. A wise older brother he gets to hang on his belt lol. Same with Faye’s Axe, Leviathan. It was given to him in love and it always comes back to him, as opposed to Blades of Chaos… Which were forged out of Hate, Strife and Malice and given to him to be used solely as an instrument of war, to decimate all whom he saw fit, even the innocent. They too are destined to return to him. There’s a scene where he enters his home and throws down the Blades of Chaos, while he gently sets the Axe down next to him. He’s come such a long way but he’s still the same man from the beginning, just wiser… Better. A masterclass in storytelling 🎉

That "He'll only cloud your mind" line has so many layers. On the one hand, he knows it's what he needs to say when they're all bashing Odin's name to make sure he doesn't stand out. But, clouding someone's mind is ambiguous, not really the kind of mental threat Odin really is. It could be Odin slightly bragging. Love how Mimir referenced Nimue who was the Lady Of The Lake that made Excalibur.

    I like how kratos says
"There's much to be done, and rebuild"
Like Zeus said in the final fight in GoW 3.
    But kratos says with hope.

I do love how Kvasier's poems are just references to other games and media :D. Haven't seen all of them, but I actually recognize the Death Stranding reference at 6:49 with the image of the United States like that! :D.
