You can do that now actually. GT can be upgraded with the Performance Tires and Lowboy footpads which I would highly recommend. They are game changers.
4:32 So, base on the video, GT-S has 50% more torque But the GT has 35% more range. I’m all about range with my OW. The 8 miles of sacrificed range is the deal breaker for me, not the price. It’s like bringing an extra OW Pint with you. Hope they would release their “GT-S Max” series soon. 😅
@@ibrokemycomputeryup. I hope they would create that in the future where they bump up the range, i’m fine with torque being as is now that custom shaping is released.

Honestly a GT and a GT s-series are a good pare. I’ll put a slick on my GT and use that for long distance rides and commuting and get an S-series for the trails
has future motion fixed the issues with the battery wires on the pint x or even addressed the situation? if they are the only ones who can fix our boards, then our safety should be their first priority.
That’s BS, they don’t provide the SNs for when the fix has started to be implemented and if you want to check for if your board has the problem you they will say that they can’t be sure you didn’t caused the problem and you’ll have to pay 900$ to fix it. So unless you nosedive and your board doesn’t start up you can’t know if you have the fix or not. It’s a good bet that the new boards have it but if you got a warehouse one you might still not have the fix. As usual FM ‘cares’ about your safety, but it cares more about lining their pockets. This should have been a recall period! I love my pintX but I loath the company. My next wheel will be an ADV pro…
I have a pint with about 3k miles and I feel like it’s a great fit for me as far as speed and maneuverability but I would like a bit more range. I don’t really trust my old ass when going over 15 mph so I don’t need more speed. So I was looking at the Pint X but I don’t want to get one if a new pint version will be coming out in the next year. Should I wait??
@@burpfartqueef aside from the pint, I’ve only tried an XR and it didn’t feel as maneuverable as the pint so I’m thinking of the pint X. Is the GT better at maneuvering than the XR?
Will this board randomly cut out without warming like the GT? Sold mine after my second concussion. I miss it but health comes first. Also can't say I got anywhere near the advertised range. Future Motion should tell us at what average speed and rider weight we should expect that range. I was lucky if I got 20 miles in warm weather and 16 miles in the cold.
Hey Andrew, we'd like to clarify boards never "cut out" without warning. We have had Pushback in place to alert the rider of the upper limits of the board and we now have Haptic Buzz on top of that to alert you when you are reaching the upper levels of torque. That being said the S-Series has power for days which then increases the torque headroom you have as a rider. So it feels just as stable at speed as it does as a GT riding at a slower speed. But again if the board goes into Pushback or has Haptic Buzz it's important to respect them and lean back to slow down. As far as your comment on range there are so many factors that play into your range it's not quite a simple equation to determine your range. Your terrain, tire psi, rider weight, ambient temp, wind, average speed all play into your range. And as you can imagine that all varies from ride to ride.
@@Onewheel If boards don't randomly cut out then I'm not sure how my last concussion happened. The ride stats said I was going 14mph on a flat walking trail. Next thing I knew I was being driven home. Thankfully I was wearing all the safety gear, had enough clarity to ask for a ride home, and had only a concussion and a scraped up shoulder. I was a rider that was in it for cruising and not doing tricks or drops. I do miss it and still watch community content and ORL, but after 3 big incidents and 2 concussions I had to move on. I accepted the inherit level of risk, but not being able to pin point a reason for the final incident, I can't continue to accept the risk. I understand there are a lot of factors that go into the range a rider can expect, but I've only encountered 5'6" petit riders that get the advertised range or more. I'm only asking for transparency on how the advertised range was calculated.
Are you going to release more rail guards that have the gt SUPER on it? I don't want to put a GT rail guard on a super. Also is there going to be an option to get the performance slick tire with the board for street riders?
One step at a time for the accessories! The Performance Slick is always an option to buy separately but the Performance Treaded is the stock tire for the S Series. Even for street riding people love it! The extra width ads comfort and control but can still turn on a dime
@Onewheel This board looks awesome and unfortunately I have put about 3300 into my gt. My question is, will there be an optional rails? Rails like the WTF's ? Had I not purchased my one wheel GT last year. I would be buying this. I guess I'll have to wait till the g Tr comes out.
What was the reason for the price increase of $100 to the GT & PX? If anything I expected it to go down… But if you kept it at $2,200, it would be exactly $1,000 more for the S series. I guess when people see $2,350 they don’t see it as $1,000 difference but a little less Idk, I’ve been trying to figure it out about the price increase
For your Next performance board in a few years can you make a GT-R series with 30mph top speed? Even if its a little bigger these will blow EUC's out of the water
A GT-R series will likely be for range rather than speed like the S series. Also, 84v vescs are able to get to 30 mph, this will easily get over 30mph at 113v.
So essentially you guys made a new software that you only have available on the flagship models...and you literally purposely made the other boards beep and slow so that they would have to buy this new thing? All you guys made was a pint x that has GT range! Seriously can you give us higher pushback on the pint x and custom shaping....
@Onewheel well that's laughable, the majority of riders want range, most new boards have extra range than previous models, you've gone backwards with this one.
You had me at "honda corolla" 😉😜 (albeit, that was one of your only mishaps!) Radical job telling us the specs! You just made me want to....splurge on one! 😁
First was the ghosting on the GT, and the fix made footpad activation so infuriating, i sold it with under 100km on the odometer. Did you fix that issue? Also the battery indicator leds were hugely bothersome at night since they were not dimmable, i duct taped over them. Any fixes for these?
wish future motion could provide better service or allow other companies to do repairs instead off making more expensive products that are basically big expensive paperweights when something stops working. and no 1 service point in calefornia isn't enough. future motion please look ad evolve skateboards they also have overpriced electric vehicles but at least they provide good service
People in these comments are going to feel hell dumb when people start getting their boards and realizing that the jump in voltage is insane. Also, they state this isn't a board for the average rider but every average rider in the comments is acting like they made the board for them and they don't want it. The internet is great entertainment. I'm good with the torque and speed of my GT, but they didn't make it for me. I'm amazed at how out of touch with reality these haters are... Also if you support a chinese knock off brand, you should probably do some moral evaluation.
I'll have to stick with my GT for now, since I just bought it a couple of weeks ago. Great to see a new model in only 2 years, so hears hoping an even better one comes out in another 2, so I can buy that one.

@@Onewheel Well, that's the plan. Got one ordered. I'm coming from a stock XR so hopefully the difference is as drastic as the difference between the GT and the GT-S is being made out to be.
There isn't a VESC in existence that I'm aware of that comes close to 113volts. I have the torque pack, which you have to have a custom built battery box for and is currently the highest available torque battery for VESC, and it's 75volts. The CBXR is only 64volts, which was designed for range over torque. Apples and oranges here. Plus VESC comes with its own setbacks, like no lifetime odometer, having to wait 5 seconds after powering it on to ride it, and most importantly no headlight (there are ways to get a headlight, but good luck figuring it out).
Bring a repair shop to Europe and than we can talk. Can't be true that we Europeans have to ship the Boards to US. That's too expensive for a simple repair.
Heck ya we made the sport version! We hear ya on the range but to us it's a worthy sacrifice for the power and weight reduction. Just like a race car the lighter it is the faster and more stable. Surely you wouldn't take your supercharged race car and expect it to get the same mileage as a Honda Corolla
Is the top speed higher on the S-Series? They seem to allude to that, but then they don't mention any specs. Also, what's with the graph with no numbers? It literally provides no information...
Some things are out of our control, including what specs are available to share. But I can guarantee you the ride is unlike anything i've step foot on before. If you're unsure find us at an event to experience it for yourself! :)
I don’t know exactly what components and R&D you guys have put into this new model and how you valued it, but please understand that I could never justify over $3200! It feels insulting that you are trying to.
I literally just spend a combined 5k cdn dollars on my GT with a new tire, wtf rails and flight fins 😢. Guess I’m waiting until the GT-S pro in 4 years
It doesn’t matter how you spin it…those few extra miles and hour make it less safe and definitely not 1300$ more! There is essentially nothing else different! No major new upgrades or advances in tech! Just saying
So 113v isn't advancement in tech from GT's 75v? A redesigned motor with Japanese Bearings, new windings, and high flux curved magnets aren't major upgrades?

Enjoyed the Video. When will GT riders be able to get tire change service for the Performance Tires from the Factory?
You can do that now actually. GT can be upgraded with the Performance Tires and Lowboy footpads which I would highly recommend. They are game changers.
@@Onewheel Sneaky Sneaky. I did not see that option on Wednesday!!! Thank you.

So, base on the video,
GT-S has 50% more torque
But the GT has 35% more range.
I’m all about range with my OW.
The 8 miles of sacrificed range is the deal breaker for me, not the price. It’s like bringing an extra OW Pint with you.
Hope they would release their “GT-S Max” series soon. 😅
Or a GT-R series. 30-40 miles of range and a 32mph top speed
Exactly. You're just trading range for power. It shouldn't be more expensive, it should be an "option".
@@ibrokemycomputer 100%, I don't want to go back to range anxiety on my long day rides or group rides.
@@aaronlarsen8412 now that would be awesome.
@@ibrokemycomputeryup. I hope they would create that in the future where they bump up the range, i’m fine with torque being as is now that custom shaping is released.
The GT hasn't even been out for a few years. It's honestly been out for like a year since it wasn't actually shipping 😕 then yall make this. It's just way too much money. 3200 for a board that has less range than the og gt. Yall are tripping honestly
It may not be for you but some folks are going to absolutely love this thing. It will be their favorite thing they own and worth every penny.
Honestly a GT and a GT s-series are a good pare. I’ll put a slick on my GT and use that for long distance rides and commuting and get an S-series for the trails
Truth! The Performance Tire and Lowboy upgrades for your GT are major
has future motion fixed the issues with the battery wires on the pint x or even addressed the situation? if they are the only ones who can fix our boards, then our safety should be their first priority.
Never had a problem…
They have.
Fixed in June, and any older boards impacted can be inspected and repaired for free if needed (even out of warranty).
My PintX wiring broke after less than 3 months of getting the board. Had to sell it for parts.
They wanted over $909 to fix it.
So like, should I like totally wait for the R1 comparable model?

So if a person was to order one today how long would the wait be? Are they being back ordered right now?
This is probably the most exciting part. Orders are being shipped everyday!! Depends on where you live for how long it'll get to you
@@Onewheel awesome, thank you!
If anything I expected it to go down…
But if you kept it at $2,200, it would be exactly $1,000 more for the S series. I guess when people see $2,350 they don’t see it as $1,000 difference but a little less
Idk, I’ve been trying to figure it out about the price increase
Bidenflation 😮
For your Next performance board in a few years can you make a GT-R series with 30mph top speed? Even if its a little bigger these will blow EUC's out of the water
A GT-R series will likely be for range rather than speed like the S series. Also, 84v vescs are able to get to 30 mph, this will easily get over 30mph at 113v.
Can't wait. Perhaps find a way to build in some of the very lightweight, wonderful suspension.
So essentially you guys made a new software that you only have available on the flagship models...and you literally purposely made the other boards beep and slow so that they would have to buy this new thing?
All you guys made was a pint x that has GT range!
Seriously can you give us higher pushback on the pint x and custom shaping....
No, screw you, but the new board.
-FM.
yeah I completely think it's overpriced if it was around the $2750 range probably
Creative video. I was nodding along the whole way until the PR team brought prices for other "luxury", financed items into the picture.
20% less range for $1,000 more?
The best riders would rather sacrifice a bit of range for a lot more power and a lighter board.
Footpads are good to go. Dimmable LED light is a good idea, we'll pass that along.
You can turn on single footpad zone engagement now, and you can start rolling easily... even with a sloppy mount.
wish future motion could provide better service or allow other companies to do repairs instead off making more expensive products that are basically big expensive paperweights when something stops working. and no 1 service point in calefornia isn't enough. future motion please look ad evolve skateboards they also have overpriced electric vehicles but at least they provide good service
We want to ride with you Grandpa
I'll have to stick with my GT for now, since I just bought it a couple of weeks ago. Great to see a new model in only 2 years, so hears hoping an even better one comes out in another 2, so I can buy that one.
Innovation baby! More to come. Have fun out there my friend

S-Series could be for local rides too if you are happy leaving them in the dust!!
Now when's the Pint S coming out. I have both the GT and Pint X and use the Pint X for daily commuting since its a lot more easier to lug around.
Wouldn’t hold my breath… they barely pay any attention to the PintX already
Used xr, little foccer, cbxr, zbms. Cheaper and better
tbf, it's not really better. it's good but it's not better.
Plus VESC comes with its own setbacks, like no lifetime odometer, having to wait 5 seconds after powering it on to ride it, and most importantly no headlight (there are ways to get a headlight, but good luck figuring it out).
you do you bro
I have three one wheels and they're a blast, the price for this new model is silly.
Congrats to Kevin… This video production, editing, music, writing is bananas 🍌🤘🏻
Maybe a wheel that floats.. Could be kinda cool :)
Bring a repair shop to Europe and than we can talk. Can't be true that we Europeans have to ship the Boards to US. That's too expensive for a simple repair.
Who says oh shit at 17 seconds? Lol
Clearly the price reflects all the lawsuits they are facing.
Sucks winter is around the corner to get one.
this is actually awesome, they masde a sport version of the onewheel. id love more speed but don't really wanna sacrifice the range tho :(
Heck ya we made the sport version! We hear ya on the range but to us it's a worthy sacrifice for the power and weight reduction. Just like a race car the lighter it is the faster and more stable. Surely you wouldn't take your supercharged race car and expect it to get the same mileage as a Honda Corolla
Can I trade in my GT for a GTS?
Dude I’m doing some hardcore girl math right now 😂.
So basically, trust us bro
