    The Enduro tire for the GT is the best upgrade I have done to my board! Quiet like a slick but eats rocks and roots that ejected me on the stock tire. Thanks to TFL... Ooh great review BTW

    These tires are originally made for racing go karts. As a former go kart racer there's chemicals you can treat the tires with that will soften the durometer reading

    • @onestopboardshop
      @onestopboardshop  8 месяцев назад

      Most riders don’t want to go through all that, they’d rather just buy the durometer they want in the first place. 😉

      @onestopboardshop you are right I was more the less putting that out there with the onewheel racing crowd in mind. New onewheel owner myself so still don't know exactly how crazy onewheel racing can be but might get into that myself eventually but it is racing and regardless what you're racing racing is a wild sport super competitive and the things people do to get literally fractions of a second faster

    In my honest opinion I believe that if your a good rider & have good balance & with board sports experience then I think any of the tires you can adjust to. I'm pushing 1k on my stock Gt tread. (Not the performance tread, the Og🤙. I learned on this tire & I've gotten good with this tire so really its all on how good of a rider you are & your experience level. Some tires are harder compounds compared to others & all the slicks definitely differ from the treads but really it's all in the psi as well. Once you find your sweet spot for the street with your tire psi you can adapt to whatever tire your pushing... I tend to lower the psi if theirs snow or sand or a trail ride 🤙..moral of my comment is all the tires that are out there are good & perform great if you know what your doing but some are better in different terrain & weather

    • @onestopboardshop
      @onestopboardshop  7 месяцев назад +1

      100% agree with the first part of your statement. If you are a good rider, you can ride anything. Doesn’t mean that some tires aren’t better (marginally or exponentially) than others. Just like every single other industry, there is good, better, best. Onewheel (and tires) are no different! Stay riding my dude!! 🤘

    I've been riding factory slicks on XR
    It's time to replace.
    Ive been enjoying some off-road trails and leaning towards treaded
    Is going in between better by using Enduro
    My friend recommended Vesc treaded

    • @onestopboardshop
      @onestopboardshop  Год назад

      If you like off road, it really depends on what your goal is. All around tire? Trail tire? Carvy, stable? They all change what tire you should be looking at. When you say Vesc treaded, I assume you mean Vega treaded. If that’s the case, you should be aware that it’s a monster! It’s hella flat, stable as hell, no carve, but it EATS trails. Not our jam cause we like carvier tires over here, but it’s definitely a solid tire for anyone who wants to eat everything on a trail.

    Great video. I wish I'd seen this months ago. And I can verify that Armor Dilloz works great. I live in Minnesota and I wanted to ride in the winter so I studded a treaded Vega with about 150 studs (a bag and a half). I accidentally drilled one in too far and had to back it out. When I did there was a "whoosh" sound so I grabbed a new stud and 'painted' Armor Dilloz on it and drilled it back in the same hole and it instantly stopped leaking. Since then the tire has held air great and I've ridden pretty hardcore with it for quite a few miles over this last winter. Anyway, this 'trick' worked so well that if I ever stud another tire again I'm just going to 'paint' Armor Dilloz onto the threads of every stud I drill into it. By the way, when I did this I didn't know much about tire compounds. The treaded Vega holds the studs great but I will probably try studding a lower compound tire in the future. The hard rubber compound basically is hard plastic in the cold Minnesota snow. The studs do their job though as you can see in this video on my RUclips channel OneWheel Avenue. There are some other snow riding videos there as well. All the best. --O--

    I have a pint, I'm wondering what you recommend for riding in chicago. On the stock, I cant really ride on snow, it would be nice to get through patches that come up on the roads here and there in the winter, but I'd also like to have a carvy feel and not loose too much range (especially in winter riding). I ride most in alley ways (so random glass would be nice to get past without too much worry) and some trails. thank you!

    • @onestopboardshop

      Interesting take! Anytime you drop your psi, you’re going to make the tire more stable, but all things equal with a tire that’s more stable by shape, a stock tire will still, mostly, not really be as stable as something like a Burris slick.

    I am a newer rider with a pint x and less than 400 miles. I haven’t done much dirt riding yet but want to get into it as there are a lot of dry dirt farm roads in my area. Ultimately I’ll still be doing more street riding and with my surfing background carvability is important to me. I ordered the Burris but after doing research it looks like the enduro might be the better option for me so what I’d like feedback on is whether you think I should exchange the Burris for the enduro. Thank you!

    Interesting comment on the Slime. I put a Burris Treaded on my Pint X about 10 months ago or so and noticed over the winter, the PSI severely dropped. During the season, I've noticed I'll lose 1 or so PSI between rides. Assuming that's due to the Slime? If so, can I apply Armor-Dilloz sealant without removing the tire and cleaning out the Slime, or would I need to do that for a fresh start?

    • @onestopboardshop
      @onestopboardshop  Год назад

      If the pressure loss is because you have a slow leak and need some tire sealant, just pop out the valve core, squeeze a bottle of Armor-Dilloz in, reinstall the core, fill up to your desired PSI and ride!!

    Hi swapped the stock tire on pint for hoosier d10, after then for enduro, but i think the hoosier was better, enduro is too soft and had lost speed and range with enduro, pushback comes too early with enduro - 21psi, pavement/trail 90/10%, but roads are bad in our town

    • @Z0mb13ta11ahase

      How could the tire effect when the board applies pushback?

    • @Andythecreature
      @Andythecreature 11 дней назад

      @@Z0mb13ta11ahase, on a self balancing skateboard (or an electric unicycle), the motor's function is two fold: keeping the rider's platform balanced & propulsion. Higher rolling resistance (usually produced by threads, softer compounds and/or lower PSI) would lead to a higher energy requirement for the motor to move forward, which in turn decreases the energy it would have available to keep you balanced, triggering push back at lower speeds
