Drove Premium RWD and I enjoyed it. Would go with Premium AWD to get the extra humph. EV6 though rated better for fast charging felt cheap and uninspiring. 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E gets a heat pump to extend range when using HVAC.
@@Breakingacts I am getting mine through work on a business lease. I was told last minute that the stock they had was 2023.5 (never heard of that but I assume some transition model), alas it is 258kw rather than 272kw. So it will be interesting to see what turns up and what features are missing or included.
My wife and I would consider one, were it not for the price and range. There are better choice available with better range and affordability. We both agree it looks good but the name is not right.
Nobody complains that the Macan, the Porsche crossover EV, is still called a Porsche! Get over it! It is a superior car in every respect to the ice Mustang.
I will say that I Love my Lightning. Ford also learned to develop better EVs thx to the Mach-E. And in that way, other companies are leaving Ford’s EV car in the dust. The Kia and Hyundai are superior to this, but the new model Mach-E will better compete when they’ve finally unveiled it. Good luck on your decision and I hope you can make your wife happy with whatever comes your way. My wife was initially skeptical, but after one overnight vacation that would’ve cost our previous F-150 5.0L V8 over $250 in regular fuel, we spent $102. What a difference!
My wife and I just bought one as a commuter to work as we work an hr away from where we live. Got the 2024 base model batter and engine. Paid 31k out the door....
Just bought a 2024 Select AWD , Eruption Green!
I test drove a Premium Eruption Green AWD yesterday. Wow it was really cool to drive and the color looks really sharp!
Congratulations
@@FordEnthusiast413 especially in the sun , it as that kind of yellow glow in the paint
@@thehotroc1 thanks 😊

I'm right there with you, Jeff. The one I've been eyeing is the Rally version. Not because of the power bump, but because of its looks.
Just ordered the Premium AWD 91kw model.
Im thinking of getting a 91k awd premium too!! but a 2023 model , i dont think theres a huge difference between years..

Auto Trader Rory?
I'll keep an eye on it (monitor)
I would be very interested in the interior was not black.
They have different colors.
4wd extended battery Premium is the way to go.
0-60 times between it and the GT are minimal.
Anything under 300 miles of range is useless.
None of them.

The name is perfect. The build quality for the price is also excellent.
