    I have a F10 550i xDrive. Having a rough idle (while in park, idles fine when in Drive) and RPM drops when reversing the vehicle especially with the wheel turned. Car has hydraulic power steering btw.
    No CEL. I can push the car as hard as I want in any gear up to top speed. But when making low speed maneuvers like parking, the car hesitates so bad like it wants to stall.

    • @edcardiy
      @edcardiy  9 месяцев назад +2

      I think it's your power steering assembly is defective, it's putting too much load on the all the pulley when turning the wheels that it's affecting the idling RPM (just my opinion).

      @@edcardiy I thought that as well, but the last time I had PS issues, it was WAY more consistent. The moment the car turned on, you could hear/feel signs that the PS was messed up, whether you’re at idle, in park, in drive, or reversing. You’d hear a loud Whirring sound like a wind up toy.
      My current issue has none of those symptoms. Just a rough idle and rpm drops when reversing at an angle… sometimes. I cleaned both my MAFs and took it for a hard drive. Still drives beautifully. The idle has gotten way better, not 100% fixed, and the rpms didn’t really drop when I parked it by reversing into a space. It’s really weird.

    Hello! I have a BMW F10, and when speeding up at 10km/h in first gear at about 1.5 rpm (at the same gear, not while changing gears), it jerks a little bit, also when I have the same tempo at like 10 km/h it looks like the car is choking and it goes forward-backward until I press the gas pedal more. Also when I slow down, and under 20 km/h when I press the gas pedal again to speed up, it jerks here too. Do you have any idea?

    • @edcardiy
      @edcardiy  8 месяцев назад +2

      You might have a crack on your intake pipe, do a smoke test find the leak on the intake (just my opinion), Sensor is not picking up the right volume of air intake, Maybe?

      Do not spray while it's connected to the intake, But if you really want to get rid of the code, Just replace it, since you are going to do the job anyway, Do it one time and that's it. Buy it the OEM part from FCP euro, Same part but It's cheaper than the original BMW part.
