I need your opinion I changed my original filter for a cts intake everything was fine in my car but after disconnecting the maf sensor and connecting it to it. New filter came on. Check engine light I erased it with a scanner and it no longer came on but I tested it again I changed the filter with the original one I disconnected the sensor and the check engine light came back on what should I do
I have a 2009 Chevy Impala 3.5 only about 93,000 miles on it I did everything I could I changed the purge valve mass air flow sensor the gas cap even the foot throttle and I change the vent solenoid that is by the gas tank the car runs great no stuttering doesn't stall no black smoke but it's still coming up with the purge valve code and the mass air flow sensor according to my scanner I clear it and a bunch of codes come up but the permanent codes are the mass air flow sensor and the purge valve which I replaced so I'm thinking I had something to do with the wiring it starts up fine it runs fine I'm not losing any gas mileage any suggestions
I have a ranger 2011, when iam on a stop and then press the gas the truck dont move and rpm go higher and a second later it studer and then start going, only do it when is on a stop ,not while running. Any help?.. dealer told me is the differential but i dont think it is,is not one of the symptoms..
My MAF Sensor isn't working properly , my engine starts up as soon as i start the vehicle, Have no Black Smoke coming from the Tailpipe, but the engine surges and my RPM Stumbles 0 and 1 it doesn't stay steady. I found and easy way to check MAF Sensor started the engine then unplug the connector and the Engine stayed Running that's how I found out that it wasn't working , I installed the New MAF Sensor and repeated the same check and disconnect the connector engine shut off right away as it Supposed to. 👍
check your throttle body make sure is clean and clean the sensor next to the throttle body and that will help and make sure u not move the position of the throttle body with your hands because if u do it the u will need to reprogram your throttle body precision because if u not do it the car can get stuck in full acceleration speed and you can have it bad accident so make sure do not move with your hands
Can it cause transmission problems. I have a bmw e39 528i m54. While driving the cog light comes on and get stuck in whatever gear i am on. Please help

Check engine light is on and the reading is air flow

So my car stuttering when accelerating, especially up hill, could it be the air flow sensor?

I heard we are NOT supposed to use carb or brake cleaner on the sensors- only MAF cleaner or it will be damaged.

Oh another thing your car is supposed to stall when you unplug the mass air flow sensor my car does not do that it stays running
