May I make a recommendation? If the trip to the event was slowed down by the scenic photography, may I suggest you postpone that til after the event? I don't know much about the area, nor the events, so, do what you thin is best. From my perspective it seems like you were delayed getting to the event(on time) by the photoshoot. If it's apart of the event to head to those places, and do the photoshoot, I understand if you ignore my advice. But if it's just you and another crew doing it for fun, then may i suggest you tell them to postpone it till after the events next year? Just my two cents. P.S. your F100 videos have inspired me to want older trucks and to do similar things to them, however, my past suggest I'll never do it, because the moment something unexpected happens, I punk out. Just did some work on my 73 Mercury Cougar xr7 project. Pulled the seats to deep clean the inside since it sat since 96 and had some mice infestation under the backseat. Thursday I went and got a drivetrain from a 91 Lincoln mark 7 to use for it, just need to source the intake the distributor and the proper front sump oil pan and pickup so it’ll fit and then I should be able to have it ready to put in and possibly make it run.

Redbeard, your truck sounds a lot faster than it is, it should be pretty happy on the freeway, high speed high RPM but missing low end.

too be fair he has it turned down by 100+hp to keep it safe but yes he is missing the low end but thats how he built it he built it for high rpm high hp not big torque
@@TylerDuysen Right I get that, first you build it for that, then turn it down . Second it won't be good for the drag strip or autocross where you need the torque. And C, the only thing it is good for is a burnout comp where spinning is winning which is very hard on an engine or a mile, mile and a half racetrack where the engine would live in the high RPM range and able to use all the pony's. I know that's what he built it for, his choice.It sounds cool when you are up there screaming but not really practical for a street truck unless you just want to sit at a car show and rev it to the moon to impress a bunch of clowns.
