It always warms my heart to see another car or truck revived and back on the road again. I don’t care if it’s a Chevy, Ford, Dodge. It doesn’t matter, put it back on the road and enjoy it
My dad has a 1985 350. Single cab. Two wheel drive. Long bed. Dad bought it new. Still has it and it still runs.
This series is going to be great. Hopefully the f250 is around for a long time and many more videos
My grandad bought an ‘83ish F250 reg cab 4x4 Lariat 5.8 brand new. Lived its life in northern NM. My parents have it now, this makes me want to save her!
LOOOVE the new series I get super pumped everytime I see the new truck
As a fellow bullnose owner myself. This video made my evening. Nothing cooler than seeing these old fords finally getting the recognition they deserve
glad to be early to a craig video
i’m so excited for bullnose content
That bullnose would be so cool to daily! A clean brown bullnose like that would sell fast here in a Canada.
Super pumped for this series!
Man, I had an 84 4x4 like that in the mid 90's. It was a MN truck, already rusted out and fixed once but rusting again- I wish we had clean trucks like this up morth.
Sounds like a cool build for sure.
Keep it simple , keep it reliable . Keep it enjoyable.
Bull noses have a special place in my heart. Grandpa bought a 86 brand new
I had a 88 bronco that I put my 408 stroker from my 66 mustang in.
It was a beast. Wish I had the mustang, the motor and the bronco still
$7200? He must think it's worth Barrett/Jackson money.
81 bull nose was my first truck ! Great video!
I always like your content I'm a Ford guy
Man I’m 56 years old and ya ain’t ever lived until you have a mullet and drive an 85/86 bullnose ford truck with a realistic (from Radio Shack) equalizer/booster and a Pioneer stereo and speakers making the alternator gauge dance to the beat of the latest Whitesnake cassette tape with the wind slapping ya in the face with the windows down and seatbelts off riding on a sandy beach on the coast in southern Louisiana.
Those things ate tires in the front but you couldn’t ask for a better truck enjoy it man.
Trucks are ALL looking great, in this episode. Those bullnose era Fords definitely command respect. The Bronco's roll cage is very nice. The custom crossover exhaust on those rigs should be a standard upgrade for all your trucks. And yes, your F250 is REALLY looking and sounding good. Still love the 6.9L IDI diesel V8 and 460cid V8 for those bullnose Fords the best, though.
That truck is awesome ! Can’t wait to watch next video
The bullnose trucks are going up in price due to all the F100s getting swooped up and going for ridiculous prices.
It's common, look at 912s those were throw away Porsches at one point. Now they go into the $50k
Ready for a build series in this! I have. 94 5.0 5 speed in slowly restoring so this is awesome
good video! this is the best truck build so far bullnose is my fav!
This will be a fun one to watch!
Great video man love this truck! Looking forward to seeing more
I'm excited about this build love the channel
Love the sound of that cranking!!
My bullnose is my favorite ever. Can’t wait for this series
The outlaw wheels fit the truck better in my opinion. Im loving the patina!!!
Oh yeah we on go mode
Love all the cranking! Def need more hard starts on the channel ❤
Love the truck ! Wheels are cool !
So jealous of you all and these rust free Bullnose Fords. I miss my 86 F250
May that poor starter rest in peace.
I cannot wait to see this build man I loved watching the f100 build but I have always had a soft spot for bullnoses I’m probably more excited than you are lol
I love this truck especially when its one cab
I'm loving this truck
Put that thang on Holley Terminator X and it will run a lot better. That’s what I have bullnose
Dude, I have the same truck. I love it!
I'm starting to think Craig likes fords.
New shop truck is going to come out awesome 😎
Hahahaha! My bronco had that same chinese restaurant red interior.
Nice score at the swap meet
I can't wait to watch that
Favourite build yet , have a 80 f250 myself.
I got an 86f150 just got running after 20 years and engine runs smooth but something is hopping when I get to speeds of 35mph it sounds like 2nd gear comes in fine but maybe the diff I dunno
We all need that friend like Michael
Makes me want to get my 92 f250 5.8/zf5 4wd going again. My bronco II as well. Sick truck!
@MaxGiganteum full time job and a family tends to push stuff back a bit.
Nice to see the bull nose👍
That truck is just like my truck. My 93 has the same drive train but is an f150. I believe we have the same transmission issue. Mine won’t shift out of first either
There's a module on the side of your trans the shifter shaft goes through, the contacts inside wear out and it either won't shift or it shift at higher rpms and slam when it shifts.
@@deadon4847 it’s the old school aod that’s completely hydro mechanical. There’s isn’t any electronic controllers.
Very nice .
Cool video, Is the crew cab for sale?🤔
Try using poppys patina. It's like a wipe on clearcoat that will make it pop!
Rims are dope!
cant wait
Every car video on RUclips. Will it run and drive..will it make it...
Hmmm I don't know, I still liking the old wheels better
So Craig when I fix my f350 and my f150 I can do exactly the same thing as you were mentioning at 10:17 because both are 93 fords and the crew cab long bed dually 7.3 diesel manual f350 will be towing the single cab long bed f150 with the 5.0 v8. I can tow the project f150 with the tow pig dually
I'm ready to see the new projects videos.
She's a beauty
I think it would be cool if you keep the original eec-iv fuel injection setup on the truck and fix it up right. Because there are not alot of videos on youtube of people who work on the old OBD 1 ford fuel injection systems.
I miss my 83 5.0 bullnose I'm definitely gonna be getting g another one
I remember taking the topper off my 79 bronco by myself... lol
Hey just noticed, the f100 is back in shop wit no front end and engine is missing. Hope their is no problem.🤔
I had an 86 started running roughly almost identical to yours and it was the catalytic converter stopped up on it.
It was surging at idle? Mine kind of does it; I got it good enough to where once it’s running it stays steady, but on the first crank over it’ll fire up and then kill itself. Usually can avoid it by manually feathering the throttle.
What happened to the truck you where building and engine for? I kind of lost track.
Craig are you interested in another bullnose? 1986 f250 7.3 460 big block backed with a 4 speed. Here in socal
i got an 85' and just installed a new starter, it spins but doesnt crank the engine. Anyone know what could be wrong?
I wish i had my bullnose still
Wait that has a AOD trans too? or is that a c4/c6 kickdown cable?
What engine is in it
White spoke steel wheels and aluminum slots mag wheels..
Check your computer for leaking caps. Often the odd start issues are found there. You prob already know that but for those that dont
In 89, they switched over to only 1 pump in each tank.
I love bulls 💙
There's an 87 crew cab 350 for sale about an hour from me for 1k. I really want it, but I'm buying a 90s model that runs and drives.
So just pulled my 93 F150 with a 5.0 and the AOD transmission that you probably have into my barn to work on it because mine has the same issue I believe
93 will have the E4OD (electronic) not the AOD.
That bullnose that was for sale is about normal price
dont forget the brown stuff on the sides🤣🤣🤣✌💩
I am fixing up my old 86 F150 4x4 and it looks worst then yours. I am in the process of changing the transmission and transfer case in a month from now.
Brown roadside is worth $7200 in RUST Jersey
You are 1 craige 🎉🎉🎉
oh no, f100 is taken apart again… unless this is an old vid lmao
Older video - look at the last f100 video that trucks in the background
Filmed back in april, he's rippin good still dont worry. I haven't broke it yet.
@@Thecraig909 thank god, had me worried lmao… yet🤣
@@egmontsliders2434 thanks bro, i’m a lil slow sometimes💀
That thing is fuckin rad
Thanks bro!
That f150 is worth every bit of 7200 if it was that clean in the north east here😅
I give it 1 week before she needs an engine rebuild! 😂👍
Dont think u have noticed the prices now, 7k isnt motivated but par
Hey! Who Redrills wheels? Didn't know that was possible!
My guy JC wheel and tire in escondido knocks it out!
@@Thecraig909 well Craig... that's what you get when you don't have friends or connections 7200....
WELCOME TO MY WORLD ....NOW IMAGINE WANTING AN EDSEL
I've never understood fords thought process behind the Light Duty 250's. The 302 and aod is just terrible for a truck.
05 SD axle swap!
Mullets can go back to being not a thing. Overplayed
$7200!?!? In Mississippi that's a $720 truck
Ok what happened your f100 did you blow it up again? I see it’s sitting in the shop corner torn apart.
Old footage. In the final part of the video, it's parked outside while the gray F250 is inside.
Do everything, but leave that paint!
9:18
Gnar vacuum leak
Damn, a mullet and a porn star mustache. Keep an eye on him.
dude,,,you have GOT to learn the meaning of ironic.
did you check the rear speed sensor on the top of the rear end it will affect the shifting , also test the neutral safety switch , it tell the trans what gear it's in , on the 4odE
The price of older trucks is ridiculous, 7k for a truck that was 1,500 5 years ago . And rangers are 10k for a decent truck now, people are just nuts.
I've been looking at 60's an 70's F100's and wondering if they're ever going to come down or what. Basic project trucks for $5k, and listings asking $10-$14k when they still have patina and legit rust and other issues? I don't think so!
I just picked up an ‘89 F250 with a 460 running and driving for $250. The deals are out there, you just gotta look… And maybe get a little lucky.
Everything got expensive in 2021. Sold a non-running 1984 Volvo Turbo wagon for $1500 at the beginning of 2022. In 2020, probably wouldn't have received more than $200-$250 for it.
You should ditch that 5.0 and throw in the 460 that belongs in there.
