    I squander my time between races refilling my drink and shooting the sh*t with the other drivers. Thus, Slot Car Mayhem's cars are maintained approximately 100x more frequently than mine.

    Thanks for the informative video. I notice that you did the body screws up tight. Don't you run body float?

      Hiya, good eye!!
      It depends, really. For the Box Stock Carrera Enduro races, (which is what this car is set up for) the minimum lap time is set to 6.5 seconds to keep things easier for beginners. Body float on stock Carrera tires has minimal effect at the slower speeds. For the beginner classes we tend to "discourage" loose body screws on box stock due to the amount of screws dropped on the track during longer races. (100+ laps).
      We do run body float in less restrictive classes.
