@@JDMDriveway thanks a lot. Bought the XE version due to the sat radio. Great
Radio for the value. It replace an older a/m radio, and I kept the previous mic for calls. No issue with it and no complaints from people I spoke with. So it may just be the Mic.

A bit late, but I just wanted to mention that you can get a remote for the radio for around $20/$30 it has a rotary ring for volume (and buttons for other controls) which you can affix to the steering wheel with the included strap, or stick it with double sided tape.

I just replaced my head unit a few months ago with a Pioneer DMH-2660NEX and wired backup camera because Best Buy had a sale for a $200 bundle for both. Have to say these Apple CarPlay units are well worth it! I ended up also getting a Compustar remote start which if you haven't looked into; its a great investment. It's helped me many times on these hot summer days to get my truck cool before I hop in!

Nice! I've actually got a backup camera sitting in the garage to be installed soon. I replaced my trucks radio with a CarPlay Sony. It’s such a awesome upgrade! Makes a huge difference over the junky aftermarket radio someone installed prior to me owning it! I love CarPlay and couldn’t live without it now! Luckily the previous owner who installed the radio didn’t bodge the factory hardness and had a proper adaptor in there. So I was able to cut that part to install my new radio. Now I just need a backup camera cause seeing out the back in the dark and rain with a tinted topper sucks so bad lol!

First off. Love all the 2002 Tundra videos. I have a 2002 also (only v6 2x2) and every video is something I have faced or wanted to look into.
Question: I don't find a video of you installing the ATOTO F7. Curious if you had to bypass the factory amp or does our have an amp? The radio I have installed now has weird volume issues (too loud above volume 2 or 3) so I think there must be a factor amp and I wired the radio wrong. Any help would be appreciated. I'm looking to install an ATOTO in the spring.

Hey Michael, I'm glad you're finding the videos helpful! Unfortunately I didn't do an install video on the head unit because I threw it in before I started this channel. Hey Guzmaro, sorry to hear that. I don't have any experience with that code, but I looked it up and found this forum that might help get you headed in the right direction. It sounds like the electronics in the throttle body could have failed, but it may be as simple as replacing the throttle position sensor (TPS). Worst case, you may need to find a used throttle body and replace the whole assembly. Is it affecting how the truck drives at all?

I see some posts talking about having to have the parking brake wire connected for the new head units to power up. And it’s mentioned in the details sometimes on crutchfield. Any issues revolving around this? My parking brake does not physically work because of a bad connection at the rear axle which is why I ask.

Hey Sal does this head unit come with the plates that bolt to the side of the unit for your stock mounting brackets to bolt up to? I bought a cheapie that is about the same depth as this head unit and tried to use my stock brackets and had to kind of force it in there. Did you have any issues getting the sound to work with the ATOTO radio? I followed the install video; bought the harness that stalls to the ATOTO and plugs into the factory harness, matched the colors up. The ATOTO functions fine, however there is no sound. Plugging the factory radio back in I have sound so I didn’t mess up the factory harness. I saw other people mention needing to connect the adapter harnesses blue/amplifier to the red ACCESSORY wiring to solve but did not work for my truck.
