What a Godsend! I am also a private tutor who has had to move from in person to online, so how do I set up a second Teams account? I can’t use the school account but have no clue how to set up a tutor account for the various kids I support

New presenter view will be good for the wider group of my colleagues but PPTs presenter is still my preference. I make great use of the translator took and that has really helped with international audiences.

I LOVE funky fonts but when I use presenter view, the fonts I've used (Hello or KG fonts) change to something different. Yes, I won't die, but that was an interesting point I noticed. Kevin - Thanks for the features and tips. One thing that I miss in Teams is as an organizer ability to lock a specific meeting the way I can do it in Zoom. Maybe the feature is there but I missing it. All I know is we can enable waiting room for everyone but can not lock a meeting

If you have access to the developers at Microsoft, I would love a feature that allows user to do a limited view sign in for situations where we need to sign in to Teams in a public setting (like a conference room computer). I am only signing in for purposes of hosting a meeting, but do not want others to see all my chats / Team comments.
a cool addition would be to allow attendees to share their screen all at once instead of their camera view. Teacher could then see what her students are working and who needs help...

Could you make a video comparing those two applications? Could I substitute Zoom for Meet now ? I found that Microsoft did not make a good presentation of Meet now, and I believe looks like something that can take over Zoom market. I wait for your comments.

I love the new presenter view. I just wish they would add annotations in the long run as it's a very helpful feature to have. I like being able to see the chat at the same time while presenting like I do with Zoom but losing the ability to annotate is pretty disappointing. Still, it's a lot better than how it was before I just hoped to see all the presenter view features integrated in there. Let's pray they don't make us wait for too long before adding them in. Hey @Kevin, thanks so much for this video. Are all these feature completely rolled out yet? In my company most of these features (e.g. the new UX, Presenter View & Channel Calendar) are not available yet. I already checked for Updates.
Kevin if I use the new presenter view to show a powerpoint. Will I be able to switch to show videos? I often have a reminder on my slides telling me to show "X" video at this point. I teach Automotive at a college and now all theory is done remotely. To engage learners I use short presentations which are interspersed with short videos, then on-line Quizziz.
You can try embedding the video into your PowerPoint: ruclips.net/video/S2sCNNz_Idw/видео.html I haven't tested to see if this works in Presenter View though. If not, you'll need to exit presenter view and then return once done showing the video 😒

Is there any option to create breakout rooms well in advance. It would help teachers to group their students according to the preparedness level.
Finally they added a channel calendar. That was such a pain.

You will need to enable public preview and developer preview.

Check out tip #10. You'll also need to enable the public preview in the Teams admin center before you can toggle on within Teams.

You'll need to be part of the public preview to see them all (tip #10). Once you enable, you'll see all these capabilities.
