I have a 2012 Chevy duramax with factory backup camera. Do I need to rewire the backup camera from my mirror to the wiring plug to the back of the unit?
My 2009 Chevy truck currently has steering wheel controls for the stereo and hands free phone, the reverse camera goes to the rear view mirror. Will this unit allow me to continue to use all the above and use a different camera since I want my backup to remain in the rear view mirror? The extra cam I want to view the gooseneck/5th wheel camera.
I have this unit and purchased directly from Audio Vision USA. Great unit and it installed perfectly! It's nice and large and easy to see. Does anyone know how to force android auto / apple carplay to use the USB connection rather than wireless? Sometimes it cuts out when using AA / AC wirelessly. Thanks!
Thank you! 🙂 To use wired instead of wireless you’ll need to turn off the Bluetooth on your phone when connecting. If the Bluetooth is connected to the device it will automatically connect wirelessly.
2012 sierra here, base model. How do I get power to my stereo. Harness came with all wires for speakers constant 12v and grnd but no 12v ingition (the red wire) and I can’t get it to turn on. But I can’t find a fuse that sends power without turning on all other accessories like fuel pump etc

Hi, you can disconnect the small speaker if you want or you can try covering the speaker with electrical tape to make it quieter. Thank you
