Just installed mine in a ‘10 ram Laramie (with amp)! If you are on the fence about upgrading wait no longer you will not be disappointed! This is the best option out there in my opinion! Plug and play all the way, I did have to purchase the harness for my stock back up camera, came with everything else! Go for it! David
@@joshfoster8259 Idk if you did the install yet. But from my research, the adapter harness the creator used or will allow the rear VES to be retained. I’m probably gonna go with this setup since I want to retain my steering wheel controls, back up cam, and VES.
Received mine today for my 2009 1500! Can't wait to start on it tomorrow. Replacing a Pioneer that was a POS every time you tried to start it, did not work with the Alpine amp, and required so much extra workaround that is handled in this kit.
In the early stages of the installation two wires with "USB" ends were fed to the bottom tray. I'm not sure why. I think at least one remained in the tray?
If you are wondering how to remove this head unit after instal, it is just pressed in so you can just pull it out of the bracket and it comes out easily
@@JNN131 easily? It feels like I'm gonna break it trying to pull it out. Not trying to do that. I figured I could just pull it out but like I said, not trying not to break it.
Hope you guy got the registration email I sent going to post on your after I've had the unit for about a month so far I'm impressed gotta get the back up camera installed and share some pictures

Do you have the factory entertainment for the back seat? And if so how well does this work or at all?
